Hi from Seoul, South Korea
8-8 Forever? replied to BillsNutInKorea's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Try 키노33 (KINO 33) Jazz Club and Concert Hall 강남구 청담동 98-1, Cheong dam dong, Seoul, South Korea pretty cool place. nothing but LPs played on turntables. 1000's of LPs in a library stack behind the bar. different. get the korean fried chicken, fantastic. and as an avid 9 ball billiards player , I was totally awestruck by the game "3-Cushion" played there..and elsewhere. What a game. Still looking for 3-Cushion table in the Korean-American clusters in the D..C. area. Try it. Very cool. -
+1. in a long line of tier 2 players.

All Things Incognito (Richie returns, signs contract)
8-8 Forever? replied to RalphOP83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
buh bye. 1000 more to take your place once the Pegs-n-Rex era begins. No quarter. not in high school anymore. Go beat up on people, within the rules of course. I would love to have the rep of being the "new Raiders". Jonathan Martin needs to focus on his yoga and piano lessons. -

Sign him now. Guy can play. Wood will keep him in line. Rex will keep him in line. Time to get nasty people. Jonathan Martin is a baby. -
The Bills FO Changes Need To Be Completed !!
8-8 Forever? replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
off season is slow. everyone reads everything -
Pegs would have canned him after this year anyway, Marrone simply forced the inevitable at the time 5 or 6 jobs were available, and got $4m besides. I am good with it. IMO Marrone and his agent knew, with RW about to pass , that he was a dead man walking from day 1 on the job with the bills (thats why no top coach would touch the job) ,that's why they had to have golden parachute protection put in in the case where ownership changed. I think it worked out for both parties. Marrone got 2 yrs NFL HC experience in a HC job he would not have gotten otherwise (and is set financially for life), the Bills got a reasonably competent HC in place on a bad team with no QB and a complete housecleaning one stopped heartbeat away; a job having absolutely no job security even if he improved the team. I think all parties pretty much got all they were going to get under the circumstances, other than the fans, who wanted a top tier/rockstar coach they could brag about. Fans are so stupid; this actually worked out when you think through the realities of the situation prior to Ralph passing. Good job Doug, good smart career management; good job Bills, you finally have stable, wealthy long term ownership willing to spend to get the best talent out there, and they now will come. All good people, shut the F up and get the popcorn ready. Finally we can move forward. And good job/RIP Ralph, miraculously, you and yours found a way to lock down one of only 32 NFL franchises, and a perennial loser, in the tiniest of markets that the NFL owners probably believes they could do without. Good jobs all around. Go Bills.

When did you first start to dislike Marrone?
8-8 Forever? replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I never disliked him, i thought he was as good a coach as they were going to get with low cost structure and an imminent ownership change and therefore no quality guys willing to come. Now we have long term wealthy ownership ready to go and voilá!, just like that, you have a NFL calibre professional coaching staff for the first time in 15 years. Morbid as it sounds, it took the passing of RWS to get us to this spot. Now the franchise can go forward again. Free agents will come to us, our guys will be more likely to stay , etc. it all gets better. Just need a QB......nagging detail... -
NYS Stadium study favors 4 sites (3 downtown)
8-8 Forever? replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
well then fine. Perry projects it is. Good. Biggest eyesore on the waterfront, other than the Skyway to nowhere and the idiotic niagara thruway. Perry projects stadium may finally lead to Skyway teardown. Gotta love Pegs. total son of WNY, he fell somewhat unpredictably into relatively easy billions, he knows it and has the good sense and conscience to plow that cash back into an area he knows can't get it any other way. good for him. good for WNY. the place needs a big big money benefactor who doesn't sweat the numbers and they have one... took 30 years and the loss of an entire generation (mine) but hey it looks like its happening -
Some fun Seahawks reading
8-8 Forever? replied to Bills Fan since '64's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yep that'll do it. plus they have a great coach , RB , pro bowl QB and a defense. We'd take any two of those. -
what do we need to do to get to Pats level?
8-8 Forever? replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pro Bowl calibre QB. that's all. Simple. No really. -

Jets, Bills to pursue Revis (Update-Signed with Jets)
8-8 Forever? replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
get what you pay for. Mckelvin is not very good. Gilmore is ready. Take Hughes' $$ and give it to revis. two shutdown corners plus 3 - 4 zone blitz = happy days are here again -
just keep tweaking the Ralph. thats my vote... get some architect in there and jazz it up somehow. refit the suites. put whatever high tech crap in that goodell wants. a new stadium in a tiny market will never make any sense. plus the ralph where it is supports the whole tailgate scene. I just cant get there on a new stadium in the city that is used 15 to 20 times a year, max. There urban stadiums just sit there taking up space 95% of the time.

Former Jills suing the Bills

Exactly. One of dumbest things about the NFL. Yeah yeah, eye candy I get it, but come on, talk about zero impact. -
No

Report: Chip planning to move up for Mariota
8-8 Forever? replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't think it can be done. They'd be giving up the next 2 or 3 years drafts to do that. Suicide. Unless they thrown Foles in. Then it might work. -
The salary cap no longer works as intended
8-8 Forever? replied to BillsVet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah seahawks hit the jackpot with all kinds of FAs and lower draft picks turning into all pros. that one will come back to roost big time. -
The guy is ignored for HC spots and he totally screwed his assistants, none of whom have jobs now. Nice going Doug. He is branded forever. Hope he can sleep at night. Good for us. We got our franchise coach a year earlier than it would have happened otherwise. All good. Onward.

8-8 Forever? replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
that's the tradeoff for a downtown stadium.. do you want the stadium in the city or not? If the city, the whole tailgating on the grass thing goes away and you get real NFL prices.. gotta give something to get something. I say delay the stadium as long as possible. the ralph is totally unique
