I just hope the Eric Wood's and Fred Jacksons of the world get to taste some top tier NFL action before they are done.. they have wasted their NFL careers so far while the franchise was in a holding pattern waiting for stable/committed ownership, but they have some time left..

that is exactly what will happen. doubt that we will match with what we have put into drafting O Linemen. Henderson/Kujo/Miller . they have done a good job. we will see , probably a Whitner like situation where someone breaks the bank to get him and we can only look away.. can't keep 'em all. we shall see. Well, this ain't suburban high school football. Its the NFL. From a personality perspective, all kinds of cats and dogs playing this game. Must take the good with the bad. Swapping a truly good guy who can't play like Spiller for Shady who can is a good football move. Fans need to accept that.

a pile of IR type injuries would take us out of the playoffs, as it has done for so many teams over the years. never discount the injury factor in the NFL. "next man up" is a bunch of garbage in most cases. the dropoff from starter to 2nd string is pretty dramatic in the NFL.

yeah not sure NFL will succeed in L.A. but the stadium could be used for a million different things. really crappy part of town though. good luck getting in an out of there. Lakers games at the Forum bad enough. how about 4x the number of people. yikes.

Correct. Our QB situation does not lend itself to journalist analysis. We just have to wait and see what happens on the field. I have no idea, truly, which of the 3 starts in September. Even odds on all three as they all have warts and positives. Cassel was lighting it up last year before he was hurt if he stays healthy Bridgewater never sees the field last year. EJ pretty much got screwed by Marrone trying to win a few extra games to build his resume. And Taylor is simply a complete unknown who has had 4 years of high quality coaching in Baltimore which in theory has cleared up the accuracy issues. Who the freak knows. He could be a Kapernick clone who now has great throwing mechanics . Who knows? We'll know in 90 days....

this. and with QBs you do the swap now before you get into serious OTAs and camp. who knows who will come out of camp on the roster. maybe someone wants EJ, maybe someone gets hurt.

yep. If no QB emerges, this will be a very frustrating season. Look for 8 in the box from day 1. then we will see. hoping for the best. go bills.
