  1. Whaley is batting about 1.000 lately. Go bills. we finally have this thing right. we'll see if it translates to the field, but the management of the team is in good hands
  2. We'll see. I think A Luck will get some education on Sunday as well. Called 'get it out quick', 'cause you are being hunted.
  3. All the time my friend. Bills are simply not part of the NFL conversation, especially where I am in the DC area where they still gloat over the SB win a hundred years ago. Been off the radar a very long time. As they are in the Pats/Jets/Phins AFC East, IF IF IF they start winning they will get re-recognized quickly simply by east coast market exposure. So winning will cure everything.
  4. ground and pound baby
  5. Ralph had great desire to win, but never figured out/ acknowledged what it took to win. By the time he figured it out, he got very old and during the countdown even if he tried to do what was necessary personnel and players weren't going to chance it. It's ok , he saved the team, blah blah, but the past 10 years had no choice but to suck while the whole league was on "Ralph-watch". Sucks, but it was what it was. All good now. Permanent ownership back in place with all the openings it creates. go bills.
  6. no big deal, they will be running the ball 35 times game and playing defense and ST. EJ seems fine, just a late bloomer. QB is not as big a deal this season. go with the young guys. young mans game. old guys like Cassell and Fred cost $8m , don't play and are just get hurt and miss time. take the savings in $$ and give it to Dareus. is what it is.
  7. yeah this is stupid. making somethign where there is nothing...
  8. this is the poster child example of why players go for the big contract around year 4 or 5. and why I do not begrudge them for doing so. all it takes is one injury, and its all over. now his career is probably over, but it paid off. good for you J. , you played it safe and took care of business.
  9. yeah. let it go. 34 RB? nah. everyone got what they wanted out of that relationship. move on.
  10. I hope T Mobile is that cross between wilson and vick. how cool would that be?
  11. yes. by the original posters logic, Gilmore should have been cut long ago.
  12. Exactly. This is all about getting Dareus signed. 100%. and it is the correct course of action. go bills.
  13. top 5 NFL RB for several years. the pressure is on other teams to stop him. Fred was done.
  14. yep. one and done. hopefully. bc that means we won and scored a lot
  15. Been arguing for years the franchise just good enough to not get any better, hence, the "8and8Forever' handle, meaning 8-8 records/relative mediocrity "forever". I have seen a light with the new owner/coach/QB . Today is the first day of the rest of the decade with this group. Repetitive mediocrity is over. Hence, after many year I am moving to the light; it's "8and8-->NoMore". What did Neo finally say to the bullets at the end of the Matrix? simple: "No".. Go Bills.
  16. Love it. cant ya tell And I changed my name.... optimism reigns !!
  17. Good. At his best, he's somewhere between reckless/magical Vick and solid/deadly R. Wilson. He could be really good the way G.Roman plays SanFran and Seattle-type offense.. Let's go find out. Go Bills.
  18. yes indeed. always living in the past.
  19. oh please. move on. Fred had a great career. Let it go.
  20. Yep. Is what it is. Shame he had to spend his time during the team's suck period. He can get in there with Peerless Price, Travis Henry, and all the others who toiled for absolutely nothing for a screwed up mis managed franchise the past 15 years. Go Bills. Turn the page. Thanks for the memories Fred. You got way more out of your career than most do... walk away healthy wealthy and happy. Enjoy the family. Be a coach.
  21. dont be surprised if Cassell get cut too; they need the cash to pay Dareus
  22. agreed. don't throw stones when Shady is one hammy tear away from losing the season too..
  23. our owners are filthy rich. naming rights are irrelevant when you are a multi billionaire. the whole Bills thing is purely charity on the part of the Pegs. give back from enormous fracking driven wealth he basically fell into. good for him. I'd rather be lucky than good any day. go bills. thank goodness for the Pegs.
