I like this team. Definitely top half of the league when healthy. Pegs and Rex are a big draw for FAs. Future is brighter than its been in a long time. They took a total flyer on Harvin and lost. happens all the time. no big deal. just give me a team as healthy as the Bengals or Broncos and lets see what they can do. i think Mario's time is up. He's a classic 4-3 four man rush guy now out of place in a gimmick defense. He made sense in Schwartz's defense; not now. Let someone else pay him.

Should the Bills extend Robert Woods?

this. Glenn is gone no question, unless he is reasonable and Mario is released.. someone else will break the bank on him. the others we can work out -
this is just a bunch of injury related sadness generating bitter fan backlash... a psychologist would have a field day with some of the posters on this board. injuries turn elites into average. is what it is . and Darby and Karlos Williams and John Miller turned from "who?" to "what a great pick" and starter grade players .... gotta take the good with the bad people...

sad bitter Bills fan. after 15 years, so many. gray matter has stopped functioning in the sadness. sure hope they win sunday. if they lose, guys like this will be jumping out of windows. -
we so got the best of this trade. Spiller and Kiko have played even less than McCoy. Plus Kiko will never be right; Spiller can't get on the field. any we got the worst of it? Can't predict pulling a hammy. Happens at all ages. At least the Bills are going for it. Finally. you are micro managing it. no more Ralph Wilson thinking please. lets go build a winner

Leodis Update: Activated to the 53 - CB or Safety?
8-8 Forever? replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
AW is a key here. pull him out and it takes weeks to get another communicator in there at the same level. Injuries hurt, they really do. People need to realize its like losing a QB when your key safety goes down. savvy guy calling the coverages replaced by a guy who's had no reps. When you change coaches/schemes/communication and have a CBA which doesn't allow any work in the offseason, you get a bunch of injuries to your leaders (TT, AW, KW) you will be messed up for a few weeks if not more. This ain't college football. Bradshaw is what he is. pretty much unwatchable. sad. He needs to wrap it up. -
Week 9: Dolphins' Game Preparation - Sammy Active

yeah and the supposedly good teams Pittsburgh and Dallas have not found any way to win without their key players. Neither could Cinci or Carolina last year; this year their key guys are healthy and, what a surprise, they 're 15 and 0. "next man up" is a bunch of garbage unless Brady or Rodgers are your QB. For a teams top 10 or 12 players, the drop from 1st to 2nd team is dramatic... lose 5 or 6 of 'em for 7 or 8 games and your season is usually over... -

This just in, Matt Cassel sucks

hear hear. Whaley is on a huge hot streak with FAs brought in and players let go. Let the man do his job. Didn't even have a first this year and gets two key starters in Darby and Miller bam just like that. Clay deal is a clear winner. McCoy is better than Spiller and Fred ever were. Kiko may not even make it back all the way from injury. Getting Rex, who got TMobile saved the season from a QB perspective. Signing Dareus and grabbing IK to replace Mario next year (so his $$ can pay Bradham and Gilmore) was inspired. These guys are good. Now if we can just get these players ON THE FIELD we'll be all set. Go bills. -
yep. take em down Sammy. knuckleheads. same guys who get bombed and slide down upper deck handrails. morons. yep that's pretty much most Bills fans. not exactly your "thinking man's" fanbase. but its ok, knuckleheads make the tailgates far more entertaining.. gotta take the good with the bad...
-
agreed. Miami game begins Season 2 with the majority of the guys we thought were the starters. McCoy 100%, Watkins 100%, Karlos 100%, Miller 100%, TT 100%. That's 5 key guys you lose you lose most of the time, you have you win most of the time. In the NFL the dropoff from starters to backups is generally pretty dramatic: see Pittsburgh, Dallas, Ariz. last year. You don't win much with backups in the NFL. Cinci is dominant bc they were at 100% healthy until just recently. Makes a big difference in today's NFL. "next man up" is a bunch of crap

Reasons NOT to Watch Bills/Jags on Yahoo
8-8 Forever? replied to blzrul's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Golf on weekend mornings in October rocks. That's my reason. wonder if it'll be included on DTV shortcuts next week. whatever. If they win, they should have won, plus it will be boring. If they lose, I'd just as soon not know the game even existed .. so all good. go bills. I'll watch on my phone from the sun drenched fairway... unless I'm playing well, then I won't get to it at all... ha -
would have to dump 4 or 5 starters to get him...Gilmore, Bradham, Mario probably.... you willing to do that? ever hear of that nasty little think called the salary cap? nah, i'll take TT over Stafford in today's NFL
-
Betcha EJ produces more this week. He is a learner, he learns from his mistakes. Give him another game under pre-season like fan conditions and a bottom half defense. I like his chances to be good this week.

Should the Bills trade for a WR?
8-8 Forever? replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm ok with Watkins, Clay, Woods and white chocolate Hogan. Plus watch out for Denarius Moore. Rememeber we need to pay bradham, gilmore, and a couple others at year end. We ditched Cassel and kept EJ partly to save cap space. Now we're going to throw a ton of cap space at a WR? Not happening. Fans need to realize there is a salary cap Whaley needs to manage to, and he is probably getting close to the cap with Dareus' signing, with more big contracts to deal out still. Look for Mario to be released at year end unless he renegotiates AND Rex changes his defense. not sure either one of those are happening. -
good. Gay in , cundiff out, move on. gotta play mind games with these guys. when they get comfortable, suck usually follows
-
They'll be fine. Long season. TT will be back. Karlos will be back. Sammy will be back. Just go get a win and then go get healthy. Cinci was 100% healthy coming in and is very very good this year. Bills have lost to the two best teams in the league to this point and one who is very dangerous. Its all good. 10 games to go, go 7-3 and its the best season in 15 years. But they do need to get and stay healthy.
