zzzzzzzzzzzzz -
yawn. he is pretty much done. mcFumble is next , the instant Gilmore is signed next..
-
yeah, well Pegs probably whiffed on Rex, but hey, he saved the franchise. so you take the good with the bad. no franchise, or franchise with owner who doesn't really know what he's doing. choose.
-
probably... he's not getting big multi year deal anywhere else, or maybe he will... well... personally , i would lock up the O Line and the D Backs. cut everyone else to get to the cap number... cut Mario, McFumble, Boobie, anything else not nailed down. keep the core, restructure Shady, do something home town discounts are a joke, none of these guys live or will live anywhere near WNY

McCoy's nightclub fight and the ongoing investigation
8-8 Forever? replied to lowghen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
correct, this stuff happens worldwide like 100 times a night...every night, 200 times on weekends. its all a big yawner, except for Goodell and the NFL shield he gets paid umpteen millions per year to "protect" -
A simple question from a simple-minded guy
8-8 Forever? replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, i think T2 now gets the fact that Russell Wilson stays a lot healthier than MikeVick every did, so less tough guy stuff this year and more sliding, just like Wilson does. T2 IS Russell Wilson from where I sit, albeit with a 1 or 2 year longer learning curve (to get the Mike Vick out of him, which I thing this past season did). You watch this coming season. Me thinks this offense will do some real damage this year, if Whaley can keep it together and they stay reasonably healthy. -
Teams should get a cap break for re-signing their own
8-8 Forever? replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NFL is all about parity. this idea would allow popular, more wealthy teams to keep their teams together more easily than smaller market , less well off teams. the Bills would ultimately likely be hurt by such a change -
yep. nothing dumb getting done. why not talk now. if it doenst work out then we wait... eeeeeeeyep

Yeah I see the team there for the next 10-15 years unless some kind of local economic miracle occurs . Its all good. the Ralph is cool -
if the article is true, then the Pegs are naive and don't know what they are doing, at least when it comes to knowing how to read people, and how to hire an NFL head coach. But they did save the franchise and overpaid for franchise so they could give it back to the fans who would have lost it otherwise. The Bills would have met the Rams fate eventually. So just because they don't know how to hire people, well that piece has to be overlooked... they saved the franchise without question. a couple years of a crappy defensive transition bc the owner is naive and inexperienced is a small price to pay for saving the franchise. Let it go. Rex is our guy, warts and all. Whaley is solid, Roman is solid, they have talent on both sides of the ball. no more days of Losman and undrafted starters, high school offensive coordinators, and Buddy Nix. See the positive, people.

Unfiltered With Greg Roman
8-8 Forever? replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Roman did a good job. you could see the improvement. barring a serious injury problem, which would change everything (as it did the whole backfield went down this year) the offense should be very good in 2016. Defense? who knows; couldn't be any worse I suppose, so on balance, the team should have more wins next year. everyone expected too much in 2015. Rex is an issue, I get that, but that was Pegs' doing, Rex just interviewed for the job and got it. Simple as that. Good coach, awesome for exposure for the franchise, now just to get better on the field... -
yeah, can't wait.
-
but that's what happens when you blow everything up.... everything changes. and you start over again. that's what they are doing. hope we don't have to did it again anytime soon.

They say we wouldn't know what to do with it...

I am . If we don't win 10 next year, it will be because of key injuries/loss of OLine, TT, something devastating like that. barring that, and assuming Kyle/Aaron/Shady are good to go, I can't see why this team doesn't win 10+ next year. this year was like a very long preseason, breaking in players, schemes, etc. - is what it is when you blow everything up with a new owner all the pieces are there now for 10 wins, IMO -
Bermuda Triangle Reunites

um, he's a native new englander, a BC grad, etc etc.. blood is way thicker than water. if you had his background and dropped into WNY in the late 70's , early 80's you would said "people actually live here?" as well... those were the darkest of dark times/end of an era ; when my entire generation largely bagged out and did not return.. leave him go.. he's doesn't seem a bad guy.. the Buffalo of those Jimmy Griffin days is completely indefensible by anyone... -

McCoy's nightclub fight and the ongoing investigation
8-8 Forever? replied to lowghen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
exactly. who cares? suspend him a few games and be done with it. this is the NFL, not high school or college. super violent game played violently for very very high stakes by borderline crazy people in many cases. many of them with barely high school educations and ghetto/streetcorner upbringings. this is the NFL. too much media. too much media. I would hate to have Goodell's job, trying to keep a shiny image on a league where the games are played by crazies. Vontaze Burfict, guy's freakin' crazy, for example. These are testosterone loaded NFL guys, not boy scouts. who hasn't been in a bar fight in their 20's. gosh, the NFL has dozens of "bad asses" on its rosters. If not for iphone video and the internet, we would hear little about this, the police would find out their was all kinds of alcohol-fueled blame on both sides and send everyone home. good gosh, a bar fight.. wow, big news... geez -

This. the Kony Ealy pick is exactly the kind of play the Rex defense creates. Confusion is the rule.
