  1. the way Darby has been playing, if he keeps it up no way Whaley blows the salary cap for Gilmore...
  2. I want our offensive coaching staff focused on opening the playbook, coaching up TT and EJ plus a draft choice and winning more games on offense, not having to coach up yet a second new QB. Glennon is just a white EJ. Not gonna make it as a starter , but OK in a pinch.
  3. Bills really need another good draft this year... 2 or 3 starters
  4. correct. the salary cap cookie jar is pretty much empty until next season. they barely have the $$ to sign draft choices...
  5. TT 's not going to flop. In Roman's run-oriented offense where QB only throws it 25 times a game, nearly impossible for a QB to "flop". Now the Bills may choose not to pay him; that's a real possibility, but I think they will. Just can't do it now, because they'd have to tear the team up to do it now. They'll have more cap space to play with next year. Watch them draft another corner, bc I think if they sign TT, then no way can they sign Gilmore as well. Plus Sammy is coming up. Wish I understood the Bills' cap numbers better, but I don't see another team in the league paying top dollar to both a QB and a corner at the same time. do you?
  6. wow, a guys agent, who gets paid based on the contract his client signs, is pissed when one of his clients doesnt get a big contract sooner rather than later. shocking news , really. wow , just wow. boy the offseason is slow
  7. tell us what you really think
  8. agreed. I see one part Russell Wilson and one part Mike Vick in him. Let's get the rest of the pieces. I only see him getting better this year. How much I do not know, but with an arm, wheels, smarts and cool like that, he has most of the parts..
  9. definately a road opener i would think... good
  10. agreed with all, but no one's gonna trade up to 19.
  11. well... I wish I had the salary cap spreadsheet, to know what the art of the possible is with Gilmore, Watkins and TT... I just don't know...
  12. agreed. Sammy is kind of wasted in a Rex Ryan ground pound / Greg Roman offense, but I'm glad we have him. Just imagine what a highlight reel he would already be if he was with Bruce Arians in Az. for example. . he won't resign with the Bills unless something dramatic happens at the QB position and Roman's approach evolves further... conservative offense plus great defense can win for sure, I just don't think you need a sammy watkins to do that strategy , which is what Rex and Roman are pushing --- I predict Sammy is one contract and done with the Bills , hard to imagine it playing out any other way. the kid is a generational talent at WR with a ground/pound team with average QB play in a pass favoring league full of pass oriented teams. I don't reasonably see him staying... he will get a $15m/yr from some passing team and take it i almost don't want him to stay in hopes he gets with a pass oriented offense so I can really see his full potential play out... just sayin'... so many great talents have been wasted in schemes that don't let them play
  13. well i guess we will see. Brady could go down, Jets may not have a QB, and Tannehill could go to suck town again and we win the division as well. so , who knows, you prepare like crazy and then you play the games. we can have this conversation about december 20 this year. lets let it go until then, shall we?
  14. we'll go 11-5 this year and everyone will suddenly love him
  15. really hoping they trade back from 19 for more picks in in round 2 and 3. I doubt anyone will be on the other side of that trade, but hey maybe
  16. I would think with the wild swings in weather between August and December ( and certainly January), a retractable dome is the obvious solution, especially if you want other events in winter. having said that, I just don't see the numbers ever working for either the Pegula's or the government... Goodell can pound the table all he wants, but a new stadium at $1B is just a non starter from an economic standpoint... plus the Ralph is cool
  17. go find another team to follow
  18. yeah, just shut the play down. kickoffs and extra points are useless and just create more TV commercial opportunities and ruin the flow of the game.... kicking game is boring, even punts are largely dull now with how skilled the punters are at eliminating most returns
  19. lets see how the draft shakes out and go from there.. no one else will be signing him thats for sure (and that tells you something right there)
  20. i agree. WNY is not like the rest of the league.. buffalo is just a small city now, just happens to have a daddy warbucks who bent over to keep the team there, which is great by the way. a billiion dollar stadium for wny makes absolutely no economic sense, either for government or for the Pegulas. you cannot possibly make the numbers work... now if Pegs wants to overspend again for a stadium, great, but the county or state shouldn't put any $$ in. think of what a billion $$ would do for all the more pressing problems of WNY. hold out to the last possible minute
  21. True, but Mariota was anything but a sure thing at the time. Still not sure, but yes it looks like Tenn did the right thing as it turns out.. plus Cox and Bradford would come with very large price tags..
  22. hope Rex gets it right this year. not sure if I'm up for another 3 year new coach transition. then we would truly be the Browns.
  23. dont laugh so hard people. we may do the same thing with Gilmore for the same reason.. can't afford the monster contract coming, so trade him and get some big value well before FA hits... in fact, hmm.. if you believe we will have to pay TT and Sammy next year (yes) .. you actually probably want to do this. Now.
