  1. hard to argue with what Whaley has done. injuries are not his fault. this is a talented roster, just need to get them on the field
  2. hmm...yah i like it. go get the talent.
  3. i guess. Doesn't work that way when that kind of talent goes down. Sure, put Greg F ing Salas in there, no problem. burp. oh wait, he's out as well. this blows. every year. who's next?
  4. wow. last time I saw that uni tampa went 0-16
  5. WNY is a big time liberal , inclusive type town, share and share alike.. guess that doesn't extend to "game day".... standing the whole game and thereby forcing others do it is just self-centered, selfish and exclusive. The standers lock everyone who is not them out of the "fun", especially, say, the middle schoolers or women who can barely see when everyone is sitting, for crying out loud. So they are now locked out of NFL football in stadium? Is that what you're saying? Women, children and less able, more sober people just stay the f home? Bills games are now country clubs for stoned drunk selfish standers? conform or leave? Is that what the game day experience has come to at the Ralph? And by the way, I grew up in that stadium, so stuff that one. I've seen and done it all, pal. Probably logged more hours on property (and off!) than most on this board. And we respect those around us and sat most of the time and had a great time. Its not hard. Try it sometime.
  6. i watch RedZone because I've had it with the commercial interruptions. RedZone "flows" better than any individual game bc its all football action all the time. I get football for 3 hrs , not 22 minutes of action in 3 hours.
  7. now just an outdoor drunken free-for-all for 20-something guys. all others largely squeezed out by the "animal house" motif. is what it is. reflection of todays society-- its all about "me"and "my good time". so unless you conform and join in fully just stay away. really sad. but hey, consider the environment. would expect nothing less.
  8. can't imagine his foot is right we shall see, but this looks a lot like shady's hammy last year... never really heals .. some orthotic guy needs to find some way to build a shoe to allow him to run and cut... he'll need next offseason to really heal... his best weapons, speed and precision cutting, are probably largely gone right now... give me a healthy Powell... he's not Sammy, but he is 100% healthy Sammy will be trooper but the team will suffer as he blows 3 or 4 series determining he can't go. this game is too important for stupid heroics like that... remember he's playing for a contract pretty soon
  9. Geez, nice HS football comment as for FA, well that's most of the team.. Gilmore must have a clock reading "minutes until free agency " in his house Rex needs to turn this around fast
  10. yeah, I think this is one of the games where the Bills find out whether they intend to spend 27mil on TT next year. Game will be competitive, but i still think the moment is too big for this franchise... if they win and do it from scrimmage (not some gift like they got from AZ on Sunday) , then this could be a turning point for TT and the franchise. I just think Rex will come with pressure against VERY mobile QBs (either Brisket or Edelman) and they will torch it. Rex will ride his pressure system right past the QB. They won't make Edelman be a NFL QB (the way hoodie will with TT) and Edelman or Brisket will run for 100+ . Just my take. Rex is too stubborn to adjust his scheme for a highly mobile QB who will evade an undisciplined pressure rush... I hope I am wrong, but fitzmagic ran thru the pressure rush, for gosh sake, Rex plays a reckless pressure D that will work against statue QBs but not against quick footed QBs .. I hope TT is running the scout offense this week (but I doubt it)... cuz thats a what they are gonna see -- the Julian Edelman Kent State offense...
  11. this is an important point. watch out, you may see Glenn at RT some day if this kid works out.
  12. The way our LBs are playing, neither Ragland nor Jack would even be on the field right now. Zach Brown is a beast. Worthy and Washington are strong. Great job Whaley. Our infirmary issues are on the other side of the ball champ.
  13. he'll go back into his shell once the pats win again.. and we'll all want him fired again.. .until they beat teh rams and 49ers, then they will be 3-3 and all will be good... blah, blah blah
  14. Bills games are nothing more than super drunken outdoor house parties for 20/30-somethings now. Its ok. If you don't want to join in, stay home. No big deal. If the Bills wanted to stop the standing, they should have started this campaign 10 years ago. I don't remember people standing the whole game in lower bowl when I had my sec 115 tiks. 12-13 years ago.... seems like it became a thing 5-6 years ago. Correct? been back in DC for 10+ yrs now... Direct TV replays on the big screen for me now. maybe come up for sodden drunk nostalgia next year...
  15. they'll find a way to lose to some emergency QB and it will be national news. usual deal.
  16. another reason the in game experience pretty much sucks these days: stand for 3 hours to see 22 minutes of action , raging drunks all around, etc etc. I'm 6'4" so I can see over anyone, and I still think it sucks as well. stand for for awesome play results, etc, but then sit your ass back down. the only way to enjoy it these day is to get as drunk and belligerent and everyone else ; any i'm ok with that as well, but I am not the average fan. for the most part, they want to sit and watch a football game, not become the raging 12th man for 3 straight hours.
  17. hard to imagine Bills winning this without it being a big turnover game... that would do it. but, straight up without a pile of turnovers, without Watkins, Glenn, Clay, Dareus , I don't see it. doesn't appear they have the horses on the field or schemes needed to win much in the NFL...Rex is wishy washy on defense and the offense looks stale. I'll be watching the DTV NFL RedZone channel if anything ..great way to watch real NFL teams play real NFL football... not this Bills crap we are seeing. plus, no commercials. Or I'll just play golf all day... yeah, that's it...
  18. With clay, sammy and glenn all out and darby, dareus , etc etc out.. the scenario for a bunch of bad losses and coach getting fired is ripening nicely... thanks Pegs for saving the franchise, no thanks for hiring the wrong guy as HC... oh well, batting .500 puts you in the hall of fame
  19. of course. what else is new. why can't the 5 th string kicker get an injury. why is it always a top 10 starter? why? and of course the backup, Kevon Seymour, is... wait for it.... injured as well. turnovers lose games, but injuries lose seasons. looking more and more like this one might be lost. I think Rex has a point.
  20. We don't have a problem with GM/Talent evaluation; Whaley is as good as they get at that. We have the most talented roster in 10-15 years. Pegs probably just picked the wrong head coach whom the game may have passed by a bit. That can be fixed (of course at the expense of half dozen more losing seasons....)
  21. a couple more losses and no one's getting signed for next season, as the umpteenth restart will begin....
  22. Pegs had his opportunity to choose Marrone as his coach and he took a pass. Simple as that. All blame for losing Schwartz lies at the feet of the owner.
  23. doesn't appear so. long way to go. he is protecting the body it seems. can't blame him, he will cash in big with a real franchise and get the H-ll out of OBD. just like all the others did.
  24. I cannot imagine winning this game. that said, they will probably win the game.
  25. Based on the contract they gave him, he either proves he can be a top 10 pocket NFL QB or he is gone. Not paying 27million next year for an "gadget" QB. You pay 27mil to someone who can get you to 11 or 12 wins and play 15-16 games per season.
