  1. Do we know anything? I find it surprising there is absolutely no reporting on this. If this was training camp there'd be an update a day.
  2. cool. wish I was too
  3. yep that game was an L before it even started. lets move on
  4. who knows. probably an L. no one wins in that stadium
  5. I thought injuries would decide the fate of the season. oh wait, i was right...
  6. +1. leave the past in the past. this roster is as good as its been in a very long time. injuries have taken a toll the last couple games, that's all. it happens to many teams. the issue is whether our talented players can get back on the field. Losing AW is huge as communication on the back end is now breaking down again, not having Sammy is huge as you get 8 in the box. Losing Shady is devastating as the big play is gone. These are 3 of your top 6 or 7 players. Can't lose those guys if you want to win more than 8 games. We lost 'em (again), so make it 17 seasons. unless they pull one out in seattle , Shady miraculously heals to 100% (probably now, once you get a hammy, it doesn't heal for months) and Sammy comes back miraculously at 100% (probably not).
  7. yep, pretty much. Harvin was like Sammy, just needed to shut it down and heal. Just like Shady (which is why we may be done for this year.. again)
  8. if Shady's hammy is the same story as last year, yeah 8-8 is probably it.
  9. yeah sure that is right. QB can't show much without NFL calibre WRs though.
  10. not me. did not even watch the game. why take the pain? they are loaded and will take the SB this year, our best players all injured. the result was inevitable. and yes, sit anyone who is less than 90% for the Seattle game, as that's probably an L as well. without shady at 100%, we have no real chance. Karlos Williams fattening up llke a TGiving turkey really hurting us this year.
  11. Correct. Looks like we know what we have. Pretty good QB, probably better than a backup for sure as he protects the ball well and produces every week at some level. Needs a run game to support him and needs 11 - 12+ possessions minimum per game plus a couple short fields to produce points. But that's true of every QB in the league not named Brady, Brees, or Ben . So it will be interesting to see what the Bills do.
  12. Whaley did well not to commit to either Gilmore or TT, rather wait and see how they perform this year. Smart. we shall see, but with Gilmore he just seems to be protecting his body until he gets the big contract.
  13. thats what did it last year..
  14. ain't getting "of the filed" (good god) against those guys. let it go. move on . forget.
  15. yeah. 16 guys on the injury report, no shady, all but 1 WR out, nothing TT could do about that. let it go people. just like hoodie let go the game we won... just let it go. TT is not Ben, Brees or Brady. That much is for sure. Let's see how the rest of the season goes, then make a judgement. He was playing with 2 boys and a dog on offense today.
  16. oh just stop... 16 guys on the injury report and a fully healthy best team in league coming in .. what the h-ll did you expect... we are 7 deep at WR.. do the research... all but one are hurt and out.. it happens... let it go.. hopefully we are healthy after the bye and can go on a run for last 7 games.
  17. Didn't watch a down. Deleting the recording now... who needs the pain Looks like the score was exactly as predicted. Had a great day getting some serious work done around the house.

  19. sure , it they get 2 or 3 extra turnovers, a pick 6 and a special teams TD, I'll pick 'em. but straight up from scrimmage? Pats at full strength? no Shady? no Woods, no Sammy? 16 guys on the injury list this week? no way. this sets up as a massacre that will have every knucklehead in town wanting the entire coaching staff, TT and the waterboy fired by tomorrow morning.
  20. no hope. this loss will have nothing to do with Rex, so pleease no "fire Rex" crap after this one... we have no players on the field... and Pats are loaded... we may actually get shut out in this one, maybe 23 - 0 I may not even DVR it. Why go through the pain of watching a beat up team get stomped by a healthy best team in league. I can go to my kids HS homecoming game and see that, and at least the right team wins.
  21. will be sunny in the 70's sunday here outside DC. I'll be outside enjoying the day. ah, the beauty of free SUnday NFL ticket and a DVR... maybe this is like the '88 Denver game where the franchise's fortunes finally turned around , but doubt it...
  22. between this and the blowout in Seattle on MNF, the rep of this team (they suck) will be re set again for the next 12 months.... what else is new? Rex should have shown some balls and sat Shady down in Miami. Big coaching mistake by the "player's" coach.
  23. great . get asses kicked in 60's uniforms. perfect. just perfect.
