  1. Best post I've seen in weeks. Thank you. Lets just stop posting about starting over again. I can't take another 3 year rebuilding process , new schemes, learning curves, roster upheavals, etc etc. No. They looked great Monday night. Really great. Had the best D in NFL running in circles.
  2. Just like last year, when AW goes down, there is a problem. Can't lose guys like Wood and Aaron Williams and expect things to be as smooth on the field. These are your two leaders on the field. Now they are gone. Again. Unbelievable.
  3. yep. 9-7 . if they play like they did on Monday night, a 6-1 finish is possible, but they need to string 3 in a row after the bye
  4. yep. but not for awhile. tough sell indeed. WNY demographically and fiscally is a lot like San Diego county. Just stay at the Ralph. Keep updating it. Lambeau field it forever.
  5. a healthy Sammy changes everything
  6. small market teams. to most NFL fans, the Bills are pretty much irrelevant.
  7. yep. loved all of it. played a top 5 team and punched them over and over. great game. That performance just doesn't happen 2, 5 or 7 years ago. we have talent and coaching now. lets get the bye and then go win 3 or 4 in a row.
  8. my quess is Glenn goes to RT and Kujo goes to LT eventually. just a guess. I am not convinced Glenn is anything but a very good LT. Kujo is a beast at LT and will be a star once he's old enough to shave...
  9. he hit throws on the run last night into amazing heat that I didn't think he could hit. he was excellent from 5 to 20 yards all over the field last night. get me Watkins back at full speed and watch out.
  10. yep. if this was a home game the communication is clearer and that is a TD. as I have said, they played great and were in a winning position. just ran out of time against a top 10 team.... they are getting there. we saw a football team grow a lot last night.
  11. nah, they were a play away from winning the most unwinnable game in the league, Seattle on MNF. They were great last night. no Question about it. Against a #1 defense and a top 5 QB and a circus act TE. Great.
  12. What I'd like to see are people's initial W-L projections. Frankly, I think most had us at 4 - 5 at this point. Right? Agreed. That is probably by far the roughest road trip in the NFL (At Seattle, Monday night Football - good lord) , and the Bills looked terrific. I saw the future last night, and I liked what I saw-- a lot. Get on board people. With Watkins back, Dareus at full go and Shaq back and with 2 weeks off, look out. I can see us knocking out Cinci and going from there... 5-2 for sure and maybe 6-1
  13. yep. game was excellent. if the refs brought the same prep the teams brought, it would have been OT and even better than it was. Bills played like champs. TT was terrific... made all the ridiculous tight throws on the run no one thought he could make. ... bodes well for the last 7 games, in which they will need to string a few together fast after the bye. problem is AJ Green will abuse Gilmore and Tyler Eifert will abuse the safeties just like Graham did. need to put up 30 a game to win. they can do it. get Watkins back and if Shady is healthy, I llike em. Lewis will be fine as replacement center for Wood with the bye week to get ready. this is a team on the rise. Shaq will be a beast. dump Gilmore and put the $$ to use on a replacement. love that Whaley held off on Gilmore with the $$.
  14. yep thats it. Bills are amazing, the one key who goes down has no replacement in that particular game. amazing. but these are the bills.
  15. not it does not
  16. Need a exceptional QB to win the SB. We have a good QB, not a great one. I like TT more than the last 10 QBs they've had in there, but he's not a guy who's wins the title for you unless he has Jamaal Lewis , Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and the gang backing him up. What is frustrating is we actually have all those supporting pieces but can't get them on the field at the same time for a season. Maybe I am off base, but many players today seem very poorly educated, immature and selfish, which leads to poor conditioning and dedication to the game. the outrageous $$ doesn't help with dedication. I don't think they see it as a profession, just a game that sets them up for life if they play the system correctly (don't get hurt play well enough to get to the 5th season payday, etc.) . For example, look at Marquise Goodwin's Instagram posts. To me, the guy seems to be just screwing around with professional football. A kid from who knows where as interested in the new free shoes he gets from the company he endorses than the game. Heck, most pros are more interested in how their college team did than anything else. Their positive memories of football are college memories, not pro. The league is to blame for this. The game have become to some extent a marketing machine for apparel companies. I swear the game is secondary to the marketing piece. 22 minutes of action surrounded by 3 hours of marketing. And people wonder why interest is declining. I am swinging back away from my usual position and advocating for drafting only high character guys... if the guy is talented but is a mess in the head (Dareus, the crazy LB on the Bengals, others ) for whatever understandable reason, you have to pass on them. they will burn you down the road. Sorry, no sure how I got on this particular rant. not enough coffee yet. darn daylight savings time. I'm supposed to be sleeping at 6 30am.
  17. he'll blow a hammy , like all long layoff guys do, and be gone for the year
  18. no i'm not. the injury bug got em again this year, and will bury them Monday night. too bad. Can;t lose AW on the backend, Shady in the backfield and Watkins for the season. Clay on one leg. These guys are just too critical to success. by the time they are healthy , the team will be 4-6 and the season will be long gone . TT is a good game manager, but the weapons need to be there. and they haven't been when they really need them. we shall see. this team needs the bye week in the worst way.
  19. another massive embarrassment on the big stage. when will it end?
  20. their great O Line and Elliot are what make Dak look good. give elliot a bad hammy and witten a bad knee and see what you've got. QBs get too much of the credit for wins. way too much.
  21. yep, 4-5 record will probably end this season. really needed Shady and a defense in that Miami game. oh well.
  22. yes they do, unfortunately we'll be 5-7 or something like that by the time the WR gang is back together. Injuries sink another season. But hey, the garbage time last 4 weeks of the season will be fun to watch
  23. good motive. smart business move. only 32 of those jobs in the world. ends justify the means. the guys a homer, that's the job. deal with it. he's not some up and down maniacal poster on TSW... he's a Bills booster... that's what you get out of that position. go listen to other guys who have more of an "opinion show" focus
  24. Blanton is an experienced guy.... if he can communicate as well as AW I am less concerned with how he plays the down..
  25. thanks. apologies for missing this thread. didn't mean to start another one...
