OK, let's do this: Tyrod Taylor
8-8 Forever? replied to TakeYouToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Correct. They are probably stuck with a big number for the QB position next year. So the question is, who will it be? Romo? Maybe, but they'd have to trade for him as Dak is cheap , then you're out a high draft pick and stuck with a monster cap hit and Romo would not last the season. Cutler? What does he give you? More TDs and a lot more turnovers. This is tough. IMO , the only sane non-TT option: would literally have to cut TT, make EJ the starter and make him the same game manager-no turnover guy at 1/4 the price, run the ball and play great defense; and bring Cardale along. The QB draft is so-so. yes draft one, but no sure thing. team is built to win now. The fan base would go bullsh-t of course. But unless you go with "EJ Dilfer" at QB, TT is probably the only choice. Sorry, but it is what it is. Let's see how TT does now that the soft part of the schedule is here and Sammy is back. No way to make this decision right now. Play great defense, run the ball and don't turn the ball over - at all. That's the recipe for last 6 games. and it may set the approach for next year, and who the QB is. -
Get Kirk Cousins in the offseason.

yep. dumb thread. -
i don't think that will be happening any more with Dareus and Kyle together. We will be winning with run game and defense from here on out. It will look like DIII football , but it wins.

Bills Find A Way To Win Tough Road Game
8-8 Forever? replied to Jkgobills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think most had them at 5-5 at this stage. The key is how they handle a soft 2nd half schedule. Split the Raiders and Steelers and win the rest against jets, phins, jags, browns for 10-6. no more injuries . that is the formula... i guess... -

8-8 Forever? replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good. Woods, Clay, Goodwin and Harvin. + Sammy in a couple weeks for the Raiders game (my prediction). Then all is good again. Let's hope we're 6-5 and all this good news matters when that wonderful day comes . go bills. -

Bills signing S James Ihedigbo; cut Duke Williams
8-8 Forever? replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
agree. amazing he lasted as long as he did. Safety is an issue. With AW, awesome, without AW, big issues. Dont laugh, a healthy Kujo and Henderson probably does get Mills cut at year end. We have 3+ NFL tackles now, not counting Mills -
Jordan Mills' Hold on the RT Job in Jeopardy
8-8 Forever? replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mills was a stop gap solution. Kujo and Henderson are the future. Get em in there. I love our tackle situation for the first time in a long time. Injuries just delay things. The talent is on the roster. Getting it on the field is the challenge on this team. Think about it. In two weeks, you may have Watkins, Woods and Harvin as your WR group. All of a sudden, all better. It's all about the injuries. For example, Why is Miami suddenly tearing it up on the ground? Its called healthy O Line. Ajayi didn't suddenly get wow all better, he now has holes to run through. -
Pros and cons of keeping Rex next season
8-8 Forever? replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you said that, not me. Defense and Offense both look pretty good to me, considering the injuries at key positions.. Sacks are way up, turnovers are way up. D is great. We gave up, what, 7 rushing yards? R Wilson is a top 5 QB. and we were 7 yds from this entire conversation being completely different. Ripping this up for next year or year after that; now that is RIDICULOUS. The CBA heavily , heavily penalizes teams with new coaches and schemes. Practice time is nearly gone in the offseason. If Rex goes, his ENTIRE staff goes as well and you are starting from Square One with who? No top coach will have anything to do with living in WNY. Rex is the first NFL calibre coach this franchise has had in my lifetime. And you want to toss him out? and replace him with who? who? Cowher? won't come. any other big name? won't come. We'll be back to college guys and Dick Jaurons. Rex made a great call getting rid of Roman. gutsy. and it worked. we have the most talented roster we've had in 15 - 20 years. OK , great , lets blow up the best roster we've had in 15 years to fit some new coaching staffs brand new, gotta-go-learn-em all from scratch with no practice time schemes? RIDICULOUS. now that's RIDICULOUS. -
thats my thinking, actually. assuming Watkins comes back at 90+% , Shady stays at 100% and no one else important goes on IR. They turned a corner on Monday night. Rolled out all the formations, all the movement, the whole offense and executed it well in the most hostile place in the league. I am just hanging out waiting to see if Sammy, Shady and Clay are 100%. Clay's been playing on one leg for weeks. It all hinges on that IMHO.
