  1. yep. for us to win , Sunday needs to start out sunny, but become increasingly Shady around 1pm PST and continue Shady most of the afternoon...
  2. man, a casino attached to the stadium... what a scene that would be. all night partying, then off to the game... would be delirious by halftime. too much fun.
  3. With Gilmore almost sure to be gone next year, time to get the kid in there. Tall, fast, looks to have ball skills. Go play against the best and see how he matches up. Saw this coming during training camp. Hope it works out. Go Bills. And keep Meeks off the da-n field.
  4. its all about the cash, man. I'm sure the league figured out that viewership drops in relation to the number of teams off in any week (ie. if your team isn't playing, you don't watch any NFL at all) . so they only have , what 4 teams off each week, instead of 6? takes 8 weeks to get through all the byes... its all about maximizing TV revenue.. this must be the formula... who knows
  5. I thought for sure he gets caught on the 75 yarder last week. wasn't even close he was pulling away. that's crazy
  6. ha ha yes takes the fight right out of ya
  7. 21-17 billsies. we run the clock like crazy. game over inside 3 hrs .
  8. yeah, he's pretty much the key. frees up everyone else, puts O is second and long, etc etc. He's a beast. Need him on the field. too many key guys hurt on this team. Bryant gone now as well. MD needs to play out the season at high level for D to be successful last 5 games, IMO. No one else has the impact he has.
  9. hard to imagine holding Raiders offense down without Darby and now with Blanton gone for the year. They will chew up Meeks and White. Doesn't look good, so yes, this is the game to lose on the way to 10-6, as we get players back for Steelers I think. Kind of a dumb thread, but hey that's what happens here.
  10. agree. my understanding is that in season you cannot do much changing around with schemes and approach. the routine is merciless game to game. no time to install new concepts. the approach is the approach. so cannot really judge Lynn this year. his hands are largely tied to Roman's playbook. can't judge TT for same reason -- my guess is Roman the control freak built an offense to severely limit TT's passing attempts... we are, by far and away last in the league in pass attempts. that is scheme, not TT. That is ghost of Roman, plus AL likes to run it as well. Throw it 30 times a game and TT's numbers will rise. Fan base wants big stud pocket passer and we have small ball Navy offense. Let's see how the last 5 games go before we judge anyone. Fans who want big splash plays won't like it, but this turnover-free, run it and play defense approach may just work. We'll know soon enough.
  11. I am 6'4" and cannot imagine standing the whole game in lower bowl. the people behind me would go nuts. would be a stressful experience. I stand bc the person in front is standing then I get chit for standing from the people behind me. screw the whole thing. Sunday ticket for me. in game experience has pretty much gone to chit
  12. Let's see, third game this year against superior team (Pats, Seahawks), time for a prime time loss it seems. At least it probably won't be shown anywhere , with Redskins and Giants having late games as well. thank goodness. couldn't handle another prime time TV national audience loss.
  13. works for me. he is alex smith but an absolutely explosive athlete who completely changes the red zone game. that read option in the red zone... the league has seen nothing like him since early Vick. so his game looks unproductive by traditional standards, no doubt. lets see if they can go 10-6 with him + the run game + quality defense. If they can, I say go with it next year as well.
  14. run the ball and run it some more... and keep them under 25. that is the formula for this team. especially on the road. get a couple turnovers. win it somehow and get out of town.
  15. lets see how the last 5 go. Other than a select few, I don't see many QBs tearing it up this year.
  16. yep. my understanding is if you look at the all-22, he is open often downfield but TT doesn't pull the trigger...
  17. I am starting to think he can't see over the line? Can't see the field? Is that possible? He plays small in the pocket, that's for sure.... according to H Simon, Clay was open all day...
  18. I would think Bills would be way above .500 on two pointers .. they are built to run that play.
  19. I watch RedZone on DTV. no commercials. come and go as you please. and did I say no commercials?
  20. I like TT a lot, as you know, but I'd like to see TT's skills in a bigger, taller body as I am not sure TT can actually see the field that well as he "plays small". That bigger taller TT is CJ, but it will be 2018 before we see him. OBD in a big pickle here. I still just wonder if they pass on the TT 27mil and go with EJ for a year until CJ is ready. That way they can keep the rest of the roster together and also make it better. Hell, we're a 100% run game and defense team with TT right now and will probably end up 10-6 or 9-7, it almost doesn't matter who the QB is . I'd rather keep trying other big tall rocket arm QBs until we get one who can play at least to TT's current level. That means giving up on 2017, though, although I for one think EJ can play the Trent Dilfer role just fine. Or else TT needs to grow about 4 inches and add 20 lbs.
  21. but he was spectacular in Seattle. how is that possible given this thread and all the analysis?
  22. yep. if you want to be competitive in D1, your coach owns you daily for 4 years. no way you can compete academically at an ND or Stanford AND be a top D1 athlete. not enough time in the day.
  23. would be awesome. truly awesome. I take it all day and all night. Playoffs or not. Solid season, despite another bow wave of suspensions, serious injuries to key players. Progress. It would mean we pretty much ran the table but couldn't quite get out of Oakland. and we found a QB. and a defense. Playing away to Seattle and Oakland this year was just cruel scheduling. But we will see. If we stay healthy and Sammy and Woods are back 100% after the Raiders loss , I can see 10-6. I can. This team is built to run and stop the run (with Dareus back). Built for December football. go bills.
