  1. Aaron Rodgers is tremendous. The Bills have never had and will never have a QB of such quality. Period. End of story.
  2. by November you'll be saying Bills = Browns I've been a huge optimist, but with last months blow up of the coaching staff, I have resigned myself to the fact that this franchise is permanently on rebuild/dysfunction/Browns mode. I can't take another 3 years of rebuild suck. No QB magic is happening, no huge turnaround is happening. The Kelly years were a one and done. The Bills are that shopping cart you refer to. Still rolling, yes, but with nothing of value in it.
  3. Repeat after me: " three-more-years, three-more-years, thre......". Fans will pay a continuing price for them blowing it all up again. should have kept Lynn and gone and gotten a 4-3 defensive guy or Wade. The Pegs blew it again. At least the franchise didn't move, that would be worse... wait..
  4. can't blame a guy for not wanting to work 80 hour weeks. who in their right mind with a personal life to manage wants to do that? recipe for disaster. He probably figured Pegs was one last bite of the apple, get a pile of assistants to do the heavy lifting he didn't want to do anymore and go from there. almost worked, the injuries, the old school defense and the Pats ruined the plan. oh well, for a guaranteed 25mil it was worth a shot, now on to TV and fun. guy did what he could tolerate. Hell, Tony Dungy's kid killed himself cuz dad was never around and Cowher's wife died before he could return to her from his 100hr football work weeks. Not exactly sure Rex is living his life incorrectly. His priorities may be pretty balanced.
  5. my quess is what will happen is option 4: what this sh-t franchise will do is go from 1 to 2 and THEN to 3, 5 years of suck (1 for option 1, 2 for option 2 and 2 for option 3). Hadn't thought of option 4, but it makes sense for this dysfunctional group.
  6. ha ha this is funny. once they cut TT loose this thing is a just a rambling train wreck looking for a wall to hit for 3 years. at least we can hope for the #1 overall pick next year , that will be something... they can call Browns and Bills the "mistakes by the lake". gonna be a great 3 years. Where's Paul Snyder when you need him. I hear there's no franchise in San Diego... hey they can call 'em the Clippers.
  7. sing it with me: " three - more - years, three - more - years... three- more.... ." years of suck. I'm headed to the tennis courts and the golf course for three years.
  8. three more years of suck. these guys can't even find a decent OC. this is what happens when you blow it up and start over. should have hired f ing Lynn and gotten a 4-3 DC and been done with it. but nooo, they hire defense first and offense last in a QB driven, offense-biased league. now they'll hire some Nate Hackett-type and the O will go to ****. this franchise is stupid. repeat after me: "three - more - years, three - more - years".
  9. pretty well guaranteed at this point. Rexy's QB and his Def. draft picks don't fit what McD and Childress do. So "its a rebuild" . yay! 3 more years of "we'll get there" and "need to be patient while we build the roster" quotes.
  10. this is just the beginning of the new coaches/new schemes = roster misfit = cut-every-FA-who-doesn't-fit season. 3 more years of suck. and around the wheel we go again
  11. bills will move on from TT and rebuild. guaranteeing three more years of suck. get your popcorn ready
  12. i'm sure they will have a plan. and that will guarantee 3 more years of suck
  13. and will guarantee 3 more years of suck. go ahead guys, blow it up, waste the roster you have and rebuild. fans are checking out
  14. absolutely correct. they totally f 'd it up again. 3 more years of suck, people. write it down.
  15. yep. this is part of the blow up of the roster. which means 3 more years of suck.
  16. oh boy a Bills homer. that's just great. just what the franchise needs. playoffs must be right around the corner
  17. what a stupid idea, but hey, for the three years of suck about to happen, who cares who the QB is
  18. doesn't matter. blowing it up and starting over = 3 more years of suck. Childress, shmildress, its all a blow up and restart which means suck. suck = suck . you're all wasting your breath. its game over once an NFL team blows it all up. it will take 2 years before they even know what their doing. they have no QB and as long as brady is still playing, all they can aspire to away wild card game, which are always losses. just give up. they're f'd. go find real football to watch. like whats on today. Bon Jovi still looking for a team?
  19. who cares? whoever it is just blows it all up and starts over...and we wait while everyone "learns the new offense".... so tired of it
  20. Complete restart. I am with Leo, my old high school football team mate. Just tired of this crap. rebuilding time. new QB. new schemes, mismatched roster. the usual rebuild bullcrap. 3 more years of suck... Leo and I are both about 60 and are pretty much done. the franchise has taken its toll. time for the next generation to take up the mantel... these guys just keep spinning the wheels
  21. To be honest, if it's Lynn I can get excited a little, if it's anyone else , it's a complete restart and I am probably out. Can't take a Cleveland 3yr restart scenario. See you all in the summer. Out
  22. I am moving into the second group. It is difficult, but with the exception of the first 30-40 minutes vs. Seahawks and Raiders, I saw nothing to get very excited about all season in terms of "hey, this team is tearing it up!" a lot of it is parity in the league, etc. but hey, outside of a handful of teams and a handful of matchups, this league's product may not be entertaining enough anymore in general
  23. neither one moving to this market or this franchise. Next idea. come on guys be freakin realistic. They will need to really hustle just to keep Lynn there. and they know it.
  24. Just don't think you will get that calibre of management talent to move to and live in WNY. Not happening when your options are L.A. and just about any other franchise not named Cleveland who is looking for high end talent. When you're talented enough to name your destination, with all due respect Buffalo is not likely to be your choice. I always go back to Bobby Ross, hot shot coach candidate who picked Chargers over Bills bc his wife said she would not live in Buffalo. It's a big problem, it's why we get second pickings for FO and coaches, unless they have some ties to the area. I would hazard to guess many many posters on this board don't live in WNY anymore for the same reason.. if you are a high end experienced talent, you have choices, WNY is not necessarily ultimately what you chose. I got the whole "only 32 of these jobs in the world" garbagio, but the kind of high end talent who are relentlessly committed, blah blah, tend to be very discriminating in all areas of their life, and will discriminate against WNY is most cases where other options exist. Hope I am wrong , but this franchise will have difficulty attracting the playing, coaching and management talent to be a consistent winner in this particular league. The Bills and Sabres lucked out in having a benevolent rich guy in give-back mode overpay to save their franchises, and that's great, but ownership is only one part of the winning puzzle.
  25. This is Sully's favorite time of year; where he is vindicated for all he has written for 4 months... wallow in it Sully
