  1. solid rebuild move. lose woods, sign Brown. talent downgrade. In a pass-first league, lose a top 20 corner and sign a safety. talent/impact downgrade. same old bills. lets go draft a bunch of rookie skill guys and start them. Pats add Cooks, Gilmore. We add Brown and Hyde. 3 years of continuing suck upcoming.
  2. agree. no shot at all. Pegs should cut ticket prices and put kegs in every section. call it "Kegs for Pegs"
  3. yes i know it can be done, but its only been done 3 times. 3 times. and by HOF QBs, to boot. my point is, with the GOATS in New England, Bills are 0-2 in the division and conference to start the season, meaning a home playoff game will never happen unless they win the division, which ain't happn'n either. Not to mention you end up playing the Pats sometime anyway. That reduces the odds from 3 in 50 to about 0 in 50 of winning the SB while the Pats are what they are. So, I would sit back, relax, enjoy the tailgates and let the new staff hack and claw and rebuild this roster ; we ain't goin' anywhere for the next few years anyway. Negative attitude yes, but unless you are home in the playoffs , it ain't happening, the history is clear. My question is: are we willing to set the measure of success as just the playoffs? That defines success. Super Bowl is no longer the measure of success. With the college basketball tournament upon us, lets take kind of a college mentality, that "making the tournament" is the measure of success of a minor program like the Bills. Similar to UB getting a bowl game-- that is a successful season. What do you think? We need to get real about this franchise and what defines success, right?
  4. they certainly won't be any more talented than last year, add in a completely new coaching staff, extremely limited off season workouts + new OC/DC schemes to learn, Pats have a lock on the Division for years to come = looks like 3 more years of suck to me
  5. here's hoping Colby Listenbee can play Probably so. omg no
  6. yep, both let their pro bowl guys go and then go sign table scraps
  7. that can be the only reason. he screwed himself financially if there was actually a lot of interest out there. the Bills are where NFL careers go to die. every player in the league knows that. you only go to the Bills if they overpay you or you are on your way out of the league, or you're unlucky enough to be drafted by them. truth hurts, but look at the FA ( in and out) history of this franchise, specifically the legions of pro bowl players who left after their rookie contract expired.
  8. yep. good move for him. great move for him. Pro Bowl every year. Bills solidify their NFL role as AAA farm team to the real NFL teams.
  9. good signing. and the same old wheel goes round and round. Bills as farm team for the rest of the league.
  10. Neither the Bills nor their fans fans have any right to criticize any other team for, like, the next 100 years. Good lord the Bills are the epitome of failure, but everyone jumps on the Browns. Makes one laugh
  11. because TT inexplicably cratered at the negotiating table, Gilmore is gone , etc etc. they have space now
  12. If there is any issue with this, this calls into question Taylor's self confidence, which concerns me. He could have gotten 2x this if he was cut. Why did he crater this way to a dying franchise?
  13. Hey at this point the whole thing is a teardown and rebuild. If they go ahead and take the big bullet and let TT go, why not take a QB at 10? Might as well go all " expansion team " on the thing... they ain't goin' anywhere anytime soon anyway with the GOATs in NE.
  14. "sure, reach for a QB at 10. why not. season will be a train wreck anyway. lets get a guy into camp and start the process. I'm in the " draft one every year " (maybe not a #1, but draft one) camp now.
  15. but this franchise defines stupid in the NFL. so they'll go WR at 10. tank for Darnold.
  16. good tank move as well. cut TT, draft Watson and throw him in there to get killed for a year, go 2-14; then draft Darnold. I like it. I'm all for the tank season. might as well; by the time the GOAT is gone maybe we'll be good
  17. yes. tank for Darnold. go right to the bottom. cut TT , save the $$
  18. try to sign him to a cheaper deal , and if that fails , let him go. unfortunately, the jury is still out on him.
  19. interesting. they'll be in the running just by doing what they're doing now.
  20. Makes sense that they are divided. there is no clear cut decision... TT's pretty good, the new coach dreads starting over with a FA or rookie in his first year. The GM is being rational. The owner is closer to the coach he just hired, etc. This will be a mess. Pegs is meddling, just like Snyder does down here in DC . could be some disfunction here, no surprise there. Should have hired ALynn and and the Jax HC for DC, kept TT and been done with it. But no, lets blow it up and..... 3 more years of suck
  21. yep. so what? is exactly the mindset required right now... Its all blown up now, so might as well go all the way.. make it $20 general admission for a few years, do a SanDiego Pegs, have some fun while the big rebuild happens and the GOAT gets older
  22. see the Browns 2016 season. that
  23. I have an clue as to whats about to happen.... 3 more years of suck is what's about to happen. they are "Cleveland Browning" the place.
  24. a reach at 10. trade back and get 'im at 20 or beyond. not ready to start. spread offense, single read guy. will take much programming to get him ready
