its all fine. good rebuild/restart draft; but alas,with new coaches, schemes, limited practice (thanks CBA) and Pats stronger than ever (thanks Bills) three more years of suck pretty much in the bag now. just use your heads, go 2-14 and draft Darnold. .. but no, they'll compete like hell, lose a bunch of games by under 10, go 7-9 and get no one. same old Bills. but hey , the tailgates are great, aren't they!

meh. other than the OLineman, they essentially replaced with rookies the experienced NFL players they let get away in FA. big deal. treading water. can't wait for another 7-9 season 2-4 in the division. one step backwards, one forward. BTW, does the media even acknowledge there is a franchise in WNY anymore?

3 more years of suck. write it down. you don't blow it all up and then follow it up by starting rookies at the three most important positions in a pass driven league and start forecasting any kind of success anytime soon

me too. This team needs bodies... lost a lot of talent to FA as they always do, especially now in Rebuild/Restart mode. This team needs young draft-able talent and lots of it. Need 9-10 picks per year to lock up with 4 year contracts as the exodus will continue (Sammy, Shady, others) during this latest "Rebuild/Restart" phase. Although most are already gone. This will always be a team of guys either on their first or last contract, so lets load up on the former. The big stars on their second contract and max productive years will usually go to a higher calibre franchise in a more desirable location. Just the way it is. The draft is huge.

well, the Bills in general are pretty laughable, but this franchise needs to draft and trap as much talent in WNY for 4 years through the draft as possible, as they tend to lose more than their fair share of FAs to more attractive/successful places/franchises, so trading down every year should be the model until they are out of the cellar. Could be awhile (if ever). So trade away (down) and keeping building the "farm team roster" for the rest of the NFL.

plus they let them all go in FA correct. WR at 44. Watkins is not staying bc they will not pay him #1 $$, especially as the entire FO who drafted him (Whaley included) will be gone by the time they have to decide to franchise him or not. Just don't see the current regime franchising Sammy at 15mil

replacement for Gilmore. ho hum. they done this many times before. Winfield, Whitner, on and on. White for Gilmore. Downgrade for 2017. But hey, they're in full restart mode, so go get the picks and reload. 3 more years of suck.

hell I was born and raised in Cheektowaga and I say the same thing..... compared to where I've lived (Dallas, Chicago, DC suburbs (Now)), I can safely say WNY weather is bad; no way around it. June , July and August are outstanding, the other 9 months are, well, you know.... and we know that most NFL talent comes from the SEC, PAC10, these rock stars don't want to come to WNY if they can avoid it.... big problem...

good. send them all home. make the housecleaning complete. then time for roster changeout to fit new schemes. and 3 more years of suck

Whaley will get canned sometime after the draft is my prediction. need him until then. He's not a true GM, just the head scout, the personnel director. He's not taking a demotion, so off he goes. Simple.

just trade down for whatever someone will offer. its a tank year, so anyone will do in round 1

yep. they are the best. and the Bills franchise is the worst. sucks they are in the same division. no playoffs for as far as the eye can see....

he'll hit his peak just in time for free agency and his agent will get him out of Dodge for 15m after this year unless Bills franchise him, which will totally piss him off

but they're not building the roster, the roster is simply a revolving door, churning, their is no build.. this years roster will easily be less talented/experienced than last years with all the FAs departures replaced by rookies and 2nd tier one contract FAs. "building the roster" my arse. you're dreaming. I see a clear path to 4-12 and absolute meltdown this year. hope the stars align and everyone stays healthy , but this schedule is tough and this roster is average and the coaches are green. not a good combo.

Its really a good point. Been a fan since childhood, but now it seems they simply cannot compete for young talent anymore, have 2nd / 3rd tier FO and coaching types and there truly does not seem to be an opportunity to ever be a top 7 or 8 franchise. They can't get off the wheel, always ending up starting over again, as they are now. I mean, I can legitimately see a clear path to 4-12 this year. What's a longtime fan supposed to do with that? Just keeping watching and burning? I guess, but geez .....
