  1. can you imagine starting all over again at quarterback? this is the bills last shot in buffalo to win anything.. after this group, ralph will pass and the team will certainly move out of WNY.. so you better hope TE can be great soon....
  2. I'm a bills fan 30 years plus, but lets face it, they stink. And until they actually win something, no media guy is going to pay any attention to them. that is the way it works. you play like crap, the media ignores you.. besides the fact that WNY is the last place the media guys want to jet up to do an interview in November... ah .... no... Miami, yes, DC , yes,... NYC ,, yes.... buffalo? ... ah... no...
  3. lets see... I can coach for tom donahoe or I can coach for Bill Polian/Tony Dungy , what will I do what will I do....? the bills organizatin sucks, that's why, nothing "strange" there...
  4. About midnight of the MNF game against the Pats, all this blind optimism will be swept away... as long as we run the no huddle all night and show the fans some life, the season will at least be fun..
  5. guys, have you bothered to look at who we play this year? Jets will completely shut the offense down as they did last year. Jenkins will crush hangartner. Pats will completely shut the offense down, when and if the bills offense are even on the field while Brady & Co. and running up the score. Same with Indy, same with N.O.. same with Carolina.. this is going to be a nightmare of a season. DJ fired by mid season. bet on it.
  6. all this, and 70,000 stupid WNYers will still show up for every game. ralph wilson is the smartest guy in the world with the most blindly loyal fans in the world. ralph has no intention of competing for the title. he just knows how to take the fans money. he is a brilliant business guy . he knows he doesn't need jason peters, or pat williams, or nate clements, or angelo crowell or 10 win teams to fill the stadium. people show up anyway, just for the tailgate... i wish i was ralph wilson.. he has the best franchise in the league... all he has to do is put a team on the field , throw a TO out there to hook the fans, and wa la, $ start rolling in... amazing..
  7. Whatever Parker/Peters were doing, it worked. He forced a trade to a great team AND he got the $$$. So say what you want, Peters won. Bills, with a late 1st rounder in return, lost. Plain and simple.
  8. Dockery's wife wanted to go "home" which was the D.C. area. Imagine going from D.C. to B Lo. Talk about shock value. She wanted out, he wanted out of a crappy organization. Bills wanted out of his salary> Everyone happy. Life goes on.
  9. You are an idiot . I share your wish that the bills could stop being a farm team for the rest of the NFL, but as long as the team is in location that cannot pay the cost of a team, you are left with the buffalo bisons of the NFL. and frankly, the top coaches and players don't want to come to a team in WNY with a very conservative owner who will not be around too much longer. that kind of uncertainty, combined with a low pay scale, 30+ yr old facilities and a lifestyle that many rockstar, bachelor, rich NFL players don't want means you don't get the best players and coaches and management. You get good players, journeyman players who can play, but not a group that will compete for the title. Its just the way it is.
  10. yeah, but it makes the team more profitable and valuable. avoid a 10m per year headache in peters and have 2-3 inexpensive but "intriguing" first round draft choices to keep the fans in their seats. sounds pretty smart to me. bills fans are basically blindly loyal and will show up for the tailgate if nothing else if the team is remotely competitive.
  11. um, no playoffs in 10 years and free agents leaving like crazy, hey we have guys under contract who can't wait to get out... i'd say this organization has been an embarrassment for many years already...
  12. Bills will get hammered this year. 6-10, DJ fired halfway through. TO goes nuts. This will be the beginning of the end of the Bills in WNY. It's over guys. the Pats will be awesome (they have something like 6 picks in the top 100 this year), the Phins will be better and we play titans, indy, saints, carolina... it is going to be awful... Lion-esqe in fact...
  13. in the NFL, positivity is nice, but won't win games. Give me Everette Brown and Chris Ellis. Get Denney, Kelsay out of town. Now.
  14. Johnson will be a 60-70 catch guy in 2 years. then his rookie contract will expire and he will leave for more $$ and a better organization/surroundings, just like just about all bills rookies who turn out to be good players. bank on it. the bills in buffalo are doomed to mediocrity.
  15. If Peppers goes to the Pats he will either be a cancer who gets 15 sacks per year or a great guy who gets 15 sacks per year. either way, the bills get crushed twice by the Pats this year. if brady is healthy and they have peppers... I wonder if some team like Arizona would trade divisions with the Bills... at least the Jets didn't get Cutler..
  16. raising the prices $4 to the average accomplishes nothing. that means not only are the suites still not sold, but 16 teams have more ticket revenue than we do, so 16 teams are ahead of the bills, some way ahead on cash... ticket prices need to go up $15-20 across the board for the increase to help the team actually compete for a title instead just exist...
  17. If I was a rock star NFL player I'd live in Toronto as well. Buffalo is a crappy place to be unless you are married and raising kids, then the burbs are ok ... nice neighborhoods, etc. still dull as can be though unless you have family there, etc. ... can't imagine a dsingle guy there
  18. I'll always be a fan. Thankfully, I don't live there any more, so honestly don't care where they play, they'll always be the bills to me.
  19. We will get absolutely hammered in this game. an awful start to what will be an awful season.. another 6-7 wins and nothing changes...typical bills
  20. hey pal, the salaries are all TV money... you're paying them, friend. don't complain about the salries
  21. Yep. We will get crushed. On MNF. Opening night. An awful start to what will be an awful season of beatings at the hands of the AFC South, AFC East and whoever else needs to get healthy on any particular sunday.. anyone who thinks differently is not thinking it through...
  22. I llike the way the bills are playing this. They will call his bluff this year just as they did last year. He will come in at the last minute and play well, better than anyone else will, because he is playing for his next contract. Then next year, he is really under pressure to perform, as he will be in the last yr of his contract and REALLY need to play well. In the meantime, the Bills have a $7-8m/yr standing contract offer out there for he and his agent to stew on every night until the fines start hitting in may and June. I like the way the Bills are playing this . Peters is bluffing, as we saw last year, and will miss out on $15-20m over the three prime years of his career in the process. He will sign. On fair terms, or the Bills will simply coach up Bell/Chambers/whoever to replace him and just wait him out and get 2 years of stellar play, as Peters has no choice but to play and play well...
  23. you are an idiot. the pats are the best run franchise in the league and all you can say is "i hate them" .. what are you in 6th grade or something... ?
  24. I'd be OK with two regular season games in Toronto next year if that keeps the other six in the Ralph. I think the canadians are crappy fans who sit on their hands the whole game. Of course the bills give them nothing to cheer for so I guess thats fair. this is the way it will go. WNY can't support a winning NFL franchise . the people can't pay the freight and there are only a few businesses that can buy the suites, very important..
  25. because buffalo is the definition of mediocrity
