totally agree. Scott add some lbs and come back as a LB next year. take Maybin with him and both add 15-20 lbs before next year... we have our safeties. Scott is a beast and a keeper. A "real" GM and a "real staff" aren't coming to the B-lo. as soon as ralph passes the team will be sold and the front office will be replaced. Other than people trying to break into the league for the first time or retreads on their last job (eg. DJ) , wants to move to a place and be replaced soon thereafter. And you can bet someone paying the price for an NFL franchise is bringing his own people in. So we are pretty much stuck with what we have or something very much like it until long term ownership stability is in place. my strategy: TIVO the games and only watch the games they win. about all you can do.

its all about the tailgate. 1/2 of bills fans enjoy the partying more than the game. everyone parties until the last minute then tries to jam into the stadium at the last minute..missing the 1st quarter if it moves quickly.. the biggest partiers are the upper deck folks who barely get to their seats b4 halftime... the club seaters hang around in their bar and show up when its convienent for them. the bills aren't the draw, its the party that brings 'em.. that's why RWS is so open to the party.. thats what's selling half the tickets...

Name one high quality guy who is coming to a franchise in a place like buffalo with a lame duck near death owner . talk about a crappy job in a crappy place with absolutely no job security with a compete housecleaning and relocation/chaos one owner's heartbeat away... think about it people.. the Bills and their fans are simply stuck until , god love him, ralph passes and long term ownership/franchise stability comes... PLUS, whoever takes a head job in Buffalo and actually survives after ralph's passing , may end up living in Canada... I wouldnt take that risk unless i was a jauron like retread or a college coach looking to break into the nfl.. neither of which adds much...

Well season over. Finally. for Good. the only why you get in the wild card is to win 10 or 11 games, that issnt happening. Look at Vikings. jared allen, the williamss, farve, mckinnie, hutchinson, winfield.. that is a team committed to keeping their players getting more of the good ones and competing for the title. going after Favre to replace the one weak spot was extremely expensive but it is working and they are going to the super bowl without question. the bills are a minor league franchise playing in a major league. sad. rebuilding again. o line is a project. by the time that's fixed the d line will be shot. by the time thats fixed the running game will be shot . this is the bills.. never really put it together.. i will watch the next two games against the botton 15 teams Tenn. and Jax but not much beyond that. just not competitive enough against the top 15 teams .. never will be... not a great organization. trying hard, but just not good enough.

The Bills haven't been part of the conversation in the NFL in over 10 years. In most things, people forget you when you suck, the Bills and Buffalo have been forgotten. Left behind.

Every game is unique. You cannot take from one game and impose it on the next. Houston could come out and play like they did against super pumped up Cinci two weeks ago and crush the super pumped up Bills on Sunday. couple of turnovers, a bad bounce or two and you lose 35-17 and everyone is off the bandwagon again... I will admit that if they win Sunday I am back on the bandwagon, thought... we'll see.. that's why they play the games.

Love the Gruden idea. He can take any QB and make them sing. Problem: he ain't comin' to the B-Lo in a hundred years. Buffalo has a big time image problem... its not a place most people want to be, certainly not in-their-prime rock star NFL free agent coaches and players who can go anywhere they want... big problem.. not getting solved anytime soon... so you get your TEs and DJs until ralph is gone, fresh, long term ownership and $$ come in and the franchise moves.... it is what it is...
