  1. hey pal, i hated to see it, but that home run throwback play was barely but absolutely legal, and an awesome, gutsy play executed to perfection. no sour grapes on that one, please.. look at the tape. Also, if the bills are your 'reality' and your passion, time to get on with life my friend. Ralph should have moved this team a long time ago, so the fans of WNY are hardly "victims". be glad a 3rd rate town like the b lo has become even has a big league team..
  2. 0 -3 after this week. No possible way NE doesn't stomp all over the Bills. It will be embarrassing, as all bills games will be this year.
  3. I've been a fan for 40 years and I'm laughing too. This team may go down as the worst in franchise history. You watch. This team is really bad. I mean 1984-5 bad.
  4. We will be at the crossroads when Ralph passes and new, long term ownership is in place. Then the real rebuilding will begin with new management and coaching who have confidence in a boss who is not soon to die. The big time guys are not coming here until they have a long term boss. Ralph is not long term. Nothing substantial changes at OBD until long term ownership is in place. Ralph is doing the best he can.. he simply cannot attract the top guys who know once the team sells everyone gets replaced. Pretty simple. A real conundrum. You don't wish for someone's death, especially the guy who keeps the team in WNY, but real change cannot happen until he actually is gone. Weird, but largely true, IMO.
  5. Looks like you will be getting your wish. Enjoy the season... I wanted Vick last year absolutely. the NFL is not a bunch of choirboys, these are nasty guys by and large. you don't wanna know what half of these guys are doing in their spare time, believe me.
  6. Ok, I'll say it. They're an 0 - 16 team. Someone explain to me who exactly they will beat this year, based on what you've seen so far. Any remember, injuries will happen, so the "continuity" of the team is as good as it will ever be this season right now.
  7. I completely agree. And that is likely what will happen. Root for Fitz to be ineffective and the Bills to lose to both the Pats and Jets (almost a certainty). I want to see Brohm. If he stinks it up after playing 6 or 7 games, then so be it. The team will probably have 3 new QBs next year. And that should be no surprise to anyone either. This the pre season guys, so lets check everyone out. I hope he did do that in so many words. With the CBA up in the air, the players have to be nervous.no laying down on the job this year for the players. lots of contracts ending league-wide this year. huge competition for jobs and contracts for next year. good year to experiment and see what you have. sucks for the fans, but we knew this team was lousy 3 months ago.
  8. 2010 regular season is no different than pre season. Winning and losing are relevant but not so much as other years. Give Brohm a shot. In a home game. Lets see them all. Not sure the coaches know what they have. Who cares? Give us Levi Brown. Trent's NFL career is probably over. Not sure he is even Todd Collins. I do not think he even gets a sniff at backup QB. And to think we were pulling for him for pro bowl less than 24 mos. ago.
  9. NE can just chalk up the win now. The Bills are strictly minor league this year. I wonder how many bills will be free agents and will head to the big leagues next year. more importantly, I wonder if I care.. hmm.. no.
  10. 8 wins? I love the hopeful optimism, but this team is looking like it will threaten the Lions 0 - 16 season. Any string of injuries to important starters on either line means winning games will be even harder than it is now, meaning 0 - 16 would be in play.
  11. Patrick Willis was drafted just before Poz. If we had lost a couple more garbage games at the end, we could have had willis. and Adrian Peterson the year before.
  12. if we think DC is better than TE at this point, then I am revising my season prediction to 1 - 15.
  13. We will not score a TD. 35 - 3. Couple of starters go down. The landslide to the #1 picks begins today. Bills nations goes into hiding after next week.
  14. You can go ahead and start puking about 4:15pm EST Sunday. Unfortunately, expect to lose 1/4 of your body weight by Christmas simply from puking.
  15. You'll be rethinking that statement about 4:15pm EST Sunday.
  16. anywhere outside the 20 yard line or in the upper deck can be very disturbing. keep your kids and wife away from the ralph.. its boys only/kegger meets stag party land... i really is. take one walk past the "Crown Royal Boys" with an open fire burning on the roof of their trashed red van and you thank yourself for not bringing anyone but 'the boys'
  17. 32 points . you forgot the safety when trent runs out of the end zone with 6 packers on his tail...
  18. the bills are very bad this year. any more serious injuries and they will have trouble competing at all .
  19. Because top coaches and players do not want to be in f ing buffalo, ny when other opportunities exist. It is as simple as that . Sad but true. B lo is a place you leave, not one you willingly come to, unless you have nowhere else to go in the NFL where you can either be a starter as a player or be head coach (see Jauron, Stroud, Owens, Gailey, Dwan edwards, drayton florence, etc etc) Real talent comes only from the draft. Of course , since the front office is second rate (see reasons above), they suck at drafting as well. Just telling it like it is.
  20. that is joke. GB by 20+. no brainer.
  21. There is that word again.. hope. Assuming we get the same 3-4 IR-type key injuries every NFL team gets, any progress will be overshadowed by key guys going down, resulting in the same weekly, we suck discussion. Now if they stay healthy, progress will be made. But they look like boys playing against men out there in the trenches, meaning our guys will beaten and probably broken to one extent or another by week 6 or 7. So, "progress" will be hard to measure this year. Just go 2-14 like everyone expects and get the best QB you can in a rookie salary cap world and all will be good in a couple years (of course, the team will be gone by then, but that's another thread...)
  22. Exactly, just find something else to do on Sunday for the next 4 months and forget about this franchise. This is 1984 - 1985 all over again. Trent even looks like Kay Stephenson. No contracts will be signed until the CBA is finalized. And that probably won't happen until early July. So, draft happens in April (last act before lockout, etc) and no first round draft choices will have contracts signed before July. No loss, because OTAs, etc. won't be happening next year. Rookie contracts will be under the new CBA. No owner is going to sign 1st rounders until they know what the new CBA is.
  23. all the NFL analysts were right, we are a disaster at QB, LT and RT and have no pass rush to speak of. Worst team in the league. No one else is close right now.
  24. all the fans left at halftime to line up for tickets to Orchard Park high schools next game, which likely will be more entertaining
  25. Yeah yeah yeah.. we all get it. Trent blows. big news. thanks. Not watching the Packers game. 42- 7 Going to play golf and enjoy myself. this team hasn't even hit bottom yet.
