Due to the mass exodus from WNY, more than half of Bills fans do not live there anymore or never lived there as they are kids of Bills fans. Neither necessarily care much about the place but are fans of the team. Pro sports teams are less about the place more than ever. They exist in a bubble more than ever. The coaches style of play and the players define the team, not the city they play in. We are not in the 50's. After the season most players go home, and that is not WNY.

Fitz was very good against the Titans. Razor sharp in fact, other than the pick at the end. He does what he did against the Titans every week and we are in good shape.

their effort was excellent Sunday... you're pissed because they lost. If fitz makes the completion or its incomplete, instead of a pick, all you would be talking about is how well the bills finished out the game...

With Ralph on his deathbed soon, none of these guys is coming to a franchise where a complete housecleaning will take place by the new owner. We are stuck with what we have at this point I believe to a large extent, other than unproven guys who will take a shot at the NFL no matter where it is...

New coaches, new QB? Start all over again? Switch back to a 3-4 and put in another full offense? No way. Let these guys keep going until Ralph passes. Then the whole thing get blown up anyway with a new owner and probably a new city. Lets have some wins with these guys. Without the turnovers they win the game. Turnovers lost that game. From scrimmage they had plenty to outscore them.

I don't begrudge anyone in the NFL their contracts. Get it while and if you can because the teams throw you out the minute you can't perform anymore for any reason. And the NFL pension plan only kicks in if you are on a roster for 5 years I believe.

Fitz was super sharp today. No way I put this on him. Should have run it on 3rd and 7 and punted. I don't see Titans going 80 yards to win.

I saw a wide variety of defensive fronts on Sunday. More variety than all the other games. Its coming along. Need to be patient. Or we can blow it up and start all over again. I'd rather be patient. Its a long season and we will get healthier and better and play teams more our size as the season moves into the second half. The rookie Brooks is coming back and he is a player.. hated to see him go down in preseason. Never thought they should have cut Merriman so that may be a positive. Mario is looking stronger , Kyle quicker and Kelsay is a force. Bradham is learning the hard way to set the edge... this all takes time. We only have a couple 4-3 LBs and are starting two rookie corners. Give it a rest . This is a 8-8 maybe 9-7 team if if if they get healthy. I'll take that this year.

You're right. He's an honest, upstanding, straightforward guy. You must have some kind of problem with that. The "hard to win" in the NFL quote has been said a hundred times by all kinds of players, somehow when Fitz says it it must be a sign of weakness.

its a game, they won, they are happy with the outcome, which is all that matters in the NFL. so why are Bills fans so negative? the team only has 3 or 4 super tough games/sure losses on the rest of the whole darn schedule. This is not a SB team, but come on , IF IF IF they get healthy, I can see this team doing some real damage in the next couple months. What if JJ Watt blows an ACL next week, what if Matt Schaub gets blown up and suddenly can't play against the Bills ,... what if Welker takes one more shot like he did.. etc etc. never know in the NFL. Lots of teams losing star players right now... what will they look like in a month while the Bills are getting healthy?? Man you gotta get positive... if we are healthy for the last 8 games I see a lot of very competitive games against bottom 20 teams. Get happy people. We ain't going to the SB , but if healthy, we will be in every game other than Texans and Pats, IMHO> and I am humble.

Rivers would be good in Chan's offense. Smart, gets it out quick, big arm, big heart. Fans would love that guy. That is how you upgrade. Not messing around in-season this season. Rivers is a big, tall Fitz with an NFL arm.

Trade for who? This isn't fantasy football. This is real football. If they trade, it will be during the offseason to enable the new guy to absorb the playbook and go through OTAs. TJax is running scout team I am sure. No reps with Bills offense. You gonna give him two weeks of live reps in a completely new offense with players he's never ever played with and then put him on the road to Texans and Pats back to back?? I always liked TJax in Seattle, but OMG, these Bills fan are a truly desperate bunch. I cannot imagine in a hundred years they got TJax with the thought he would actually start a game this year.

Correct. He is the guy. And he will be fine. He needs a good running game and needs to keep throwing it up there. He has hit the long ball many times, some have been TDs and a bunch have been dropped. He can do it. Will he lead us to the promised land, No. But that is a problem for next season, not this one.

If TJ catches that ball he dropped for the first down, we go in for the winning score and everyone's talking about Fitz having an OK game. He is the guy. Forget about the rest. Pull him now and things will be worse. There is very little history of the second guy in doing well. Dilfer with Ravens, Tebow with gimmick offense last year, maybe a couple others, but this is no time to pull the plug. Even if he comes and stinks it up against the Titans, you put pigpen on the road to Houston and Pats on consecutive weeks? No, no you don't.

Not competitive against top 5 teams on the road yet. You are asking too much if you are insisting on wins in either of those two games. Tennessee, KC, Miami, Seattle, Colts, especially at home is one level of competition. Division powers on the road... um... no. Need a big time team for that. QB/WR/LB need to be better to go there. Not there yet. Prob never get there with this franchise's shaky owner/FO/coaching situation. But can make the playoffs beating the bottom 22 teams regularly. That's about all we can ask for until long term ownership is in place. Of course, the team will be gone when that happens, but that is a completely different thread. 4-5 and HEALTHY going into the Miami game? With every game against top 10 teams over with for the season? I'll take that all day.

If they get healthy over the next 3 weeks, I am very much looking forward to the 2nd half of the season. That's a big IF, because Fitz is a system player and cannot carry a bunch of 2nd teamers on his back.

Um, i think BBF was stating that Fitz's troubles since mid last season are the result of the losing his support cast, particularly his O Line, and that if the support cast is there, he will recover and be the guy he was the last time he had this, which was the first half of last year and a few games this year. Fitz cannot throw a team on his back, we all know that; there are maybe 5 guys who can do that. He has absolutely shown he can make all the throws.. we've seen them. You don't judge a body of work by a few games this season (2nd half of last season isn't even on the table, the team was decimated -- remember, I said he cannot carry a team like Ben or Brady or Manning). Man, B Lo people can find a raincloud on a sunny day like no people I've ever known. We won the game. Fitz will see the film and make the corrections as necessary. The guy's a professional football player. We won the game. Don't question how the sausage got made.
