After what I've seen the past 3 weeks, I think the Bills will win at least 5 of the last seven, be 8-8 and not get either Teo or a franchise QB. These guys can play, just not against the Texans and Pats twice a year, and SF, and a fully heathly Jets team in the opener on the road. We simply have not been competitive enough to win on paper against half our schedule so far this year. Now hopefully the "easy" part of the schedule starts. The Titans game was a killer, but thats about it.

We can still run the table and be 9 - 6 . Seattle and Colts look like a challenge, but thats about it. what, 5 home games out of 7? could happen. no one got hurt and guys are coming back and contributing. could happen. Agreed. This is the key. This coaching staff is here for awhile so get used to it.

Looks like CJ all night thursday, with FJ concussion, so you will get your wish on national TV.

Keep him. Despite having some very average talent on offense for 3 years, the guy simply produces points based on scheme. We need him for his offense, if nothing else. Blow up the rest of the staff, for all I care.

The next 6 days determine the season

It's over. Bills are fighting with KC for doormat status the rest of the year. Losing out would be ok at this point for me. Get a QB and more good draft picks in here. Get Mario and Anderson healthy so they can do next year what they were supposed to do this year. Dareus needs to get his head right. Gailey probably gets tossed , new DC , so starting over there. Pretty much a clean sweep. Whatever, its ok with me. -
I'm a Fan...but probably won't watch tomorrow

I am usually getting stoked about now. 8 -9 am . not this week. looking for something else to do. sad. -
I would be very surprised if Levitre does not leave for a real team in FA. The guy is a great player and the giants or steelers or bears will grab him. He is gone IMO. Who wants to play for this crap franchise any longer than you absolutely have to.

After only 8 games it has happened

Bills will be firmly in the media scrap heap by 5pm Sunday.... poor Bills... going to a national TV game on Thursday with nothing to play for again... -
+1. I watch NFL network a lot and will have to suffer through this spot for several days. Well, even the producers are assuming we get crushed by the Pats and come into the game 3-6 with nothing but spoiler role for rest of season. They are right. I'll go play golf on Sunday and get the bad news when I come home.

Amazing. Was watching the weekend predictions on NFL network and Eric Davis said he could not predict for the Bills "for anything" which caused chuckles from the other two, etc. One of them did not even bother to predict the winner... After only 8 games , the Bills are again the laughingstock of the NFL..

Roll Call: Jealous of the Colts for having Andrew Luck
8-8 Forever? replied to Boludo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. that's the way it goes. they are 6-3 and we will be 3-6 come Monday. Just the way it is in Bills land. -
Pocket Presence, Andrew Luck v. Fitz

Player changes at One Bills Drive

Probably so, Ball. You need that big stick in the middle (they have Ben R.) and a DC/defensive players that keep him in games. Nix will go QB this draft no doubt now that the O Line and running game is built. FA for another wideout. Draft another corner. I think their plan is a good one. Don't get a rookie QB killed like what is happening in DC and Carolina this year. A rookie QB could do well next year the way Gailey plays offense quick and fast behind a good line. Glenn, Levitre (gotta sign him), Wood, Urbik and Hairston should be good to go. TE done, RBs done. WR who knows yet. On D, need a leader and a DC. Not sure on the DC as Wanny is Chan's buddy but there is more to the scheme than Wanny has shown. We need to get a lead in a freakin game so we can go get the QB. Saw it a little in AZ. game... its not all rush 4 and that's it. Wanny is protecting the back end ... -

Well, looks like the 2013 preseason is about to begin. -
Ok good thanks. This confirms that I am in fact out of my mind. Damn... that's what I thought too... The Bills do that to you after 40 years. Making up crap to explain the unexplainable. thanks all.

A poster put this concept out a few days ago. "Bills Culture". My take on it: The Bills, given that WNY is a good place for wife and family, I mean really a good place, attract a certain kind of player.. the "family guy",soft, low blood pressure types with low motors (Fitz, MW, others). With exceptions of course, but in general just not the super competitive, type A players who live and breathe competitive sports. And repels the singularly focused players and coaches for whom WNY is "boring" (McGahee, Lynch, others). You look at Cleveland, KC, Jax, StL , all the same type of all american cities whose NFL teams haven't been competitive in a long time. The word gets out, WNY and the Bills are a good place to settle down a little, bring your wife and kids and have a good time in the neighborhood. The players are "tailgating" just like we are. Hear for the "experience". I've heard players say they want to score to see the fans celebrate. They think they are part of a party and they want to play a song people will dance to. This is not good. The players empathize with the fans. They are one of us. This is good? I am out of my mind?

Agreed. Just stay far far away from this one. I am thinking one of those 27 - 6 games where its 21-3 end of 1st Quarter, 28-10 at half and 38 - 16 final. Just an awful game between a really good team/coach and a mediocre one. Then the family guy Bills players pretty much mail in the rest of the season. Just another year in Bills land.

and you for a minute think Te'o will be there at 11 or112? No chance. With the rookie cap in place, taking a LB at 8 o 9 is an easy decision.

Gailey coaches like he knows how limited the talent is

I don't think we've seen the last of MW just yet. That guy can do a lot of damage when motivated and healthy. Anderson comes back this week and Merriman will be back in football shape. O Line is back where it was week 3. Watch out. they are running into a freight train coming off a bye week Sunday, but I think the best this team can do is yet to come. Texans lined up to stop the run. 7-8 in the box. and their LBs are 260+ . were you watching the game? Gotta throw against it. Can't dictate s__t against 8 in the box.
