  1. LOL +1. that's what I would want if i were him.
  2. He is not very good. I saw him in big games and he was lousy, frankly. Why blow a pick another Blaine Gabbert?
  3. It'll be a long time before the Bills are on national prime time TV again.... talk about no fan interest, yikes.
  4. +1. that is it. That is all Bills fans have. The draft. Because they have no choice but to sign with this franchise. If this were an all free agent league, they'd be in real trouble. .
  5. this is what I believe. trade back, get another #2 and take a qb with a late rd 1 pick. yep
  6. um... that was um, "colorful"... such a classy , thoughtful board this is.. well at least we stick to football. There is something out there called Realfootball365 and all they do is talk about liberal politics and religion. Now for my thoughtful, analytical view: A Qb with a name like Zac Dysert would be cool.....
  7. +1 . that about sums it up. that the new penny will somehow be worth more than the old penny
  8. Yep, looks for Bills to be 6 - 10 again this year. The schedule is brutal and barring some kind of personnel and coaching miracle, I cannot imagine anything better than that..
  9. Exactly, if the defense plays middle of the road consistently last year Fitz is still your starter this year b/c the teams record would have been at least 8-8, maybe 9-7 and in the hunt to the last game.
  10. Geno Smith is far from a sure thing. And now you want to trade UP to get him? that is nuts. this team needs more draft choices not fewer
  11. The Bills could be the anchor franchise as they are essentially a farm team for the rest of the NFL now.
  12. Good article. This team can only be built via the draft as top FAs aren't going anywhere near this train wreck for a few years, unless we blow the cap to get them (Mario). Drafted players are stuck with the franchise for 4 or 5 years, when they are free to actually enjoy being in the NFL and make a lot of money. See Andy Levitre. We need lots and lots of draft picks. Bills are like a minor league baseball team. They draft and develop talent for the big leagues while hoping to catch fire for maybe one season and do something before the bigs "call up" their best players at the end of their rookie contracts. sucks, but it is largely true. Stevie was a fool to sign his second contract with the Bills, now his career will amount to "nothing" and he will be forgotten just like many players before him who stuck with a fundamentally mediocre organization. I love 'em, but they suck.
  13. Well, this coaching staff has no imperative to win now, so hey why not make this one long preseason, start about 5 QBs, dump the season. By the way, losing a lot of games and committing to "rebuilding" guarantees that Byrd does not sign and leaves at end of year. I was not a huge Gailey/Fitz fan, but rebuilding means you don't keep your better players as well, who have no interest in "rebuilding". Just saying.
  14. Yes. Good football player, terrific special teamer. Not sure why we let him go, frankly.
  15. Something like that. Total rebuild again , continuing via the draft and leftover free agents . Which means we get 2-3 more seasons of losing football. Laughingstock of the Nfl then it starts all over again when Pettine and staff are fired 3 years from now.
  16. Best player available pls. Just run the Syracuse hurry-up, read option offense with T Jack for a season and see what happens. Bills are going to suck this year, so lets just get some high quality bodies in here. I see a quick mobile O Lineman being taken # 1. With Cordy on the right and a better Cordy on the left, you can run a fast paced O. Let Brad Smith run it , Tebow style. Why not? The Pats and Phins will be loaded and Marrone gets a pass for this year anyway. Lets have some fun.
  17. What Brandon needs is 5 games in the Ralph before Halloween. That will sell the tickets no matter how mediocre the team is. Its all about the tailgate and good weather for Bills games now. 50 somethings like me won't go if the weather is crap (i.e.: any game in November or December) and the 20 something walk up ticket buyers don't come if bad weather threatens to spoil the party. Team? What team? oh you mean the game they play after the tailgate...oh .. right...
  18. They are in full rebuild mode. This season is lost. Glad I got rid of the Sunday ticket. Go RGIII !!
  19. Yes. Spiller will get all the action until a QB develops, will play out his rookie contract, will have awesome stats (as he is the only good player on the team and getting 40 touches a game while the Qb develops) and will leave after his contract is up. And the Bills beat goes on. We will have a QB and no running game. Right. bunch of Kirk Morrisons and Bryan Scotts. that'll get you in the playoffs. not in my lifetime. and we will praise the Bills for "not overpaying" as they trot out a minor league football team. Give me the Denver Broncos. That is a team that wants to win a title. Or Miami. Doing what it takes in a big boy league. While the Bills stay "financially prudent" as another season goes in the toilet.
  20. We don't overpay, the franchise is a complete mess and is in full rebuild mode for the 3rd time in less than 10 years, has no QB, a bunch of college coaches, lousy facilities plus the place arguably sucks for a young single rich guy with a lot of money, etc etc. The Bills cannot compete. This movie repeats itself over and over. The Bills are like a minor league baseball team... develop college talent for the big leagues, otherwise stuck with over the hill and marginal guys. Just the way it is. Sucks to be a Bills fan.
  21. But that cannot happen this year. No one available. So one further entry: 2013 regular season; Bills are a joke again
  22. This could actually happen. Please be aware.
  23. This would be a very interesting path. Kind of what the Redskins did. Flush all but one and draft two.
