  1. Oh man! I was happy to see the thread and YOU went and ruined it. Damn you, Nanker!
  2. http://www.nfl.com/videos/buffalo-bills/09000d5d82a8640b/Films-Encore-Jack-Kemp Nice to see, fan of the football player more than his politics. Some decent highlights here.
  3. oj cookie bruce jimbo really hard to do this BTW
  4. Wow you survived? I guess I should have noticed by now BTW I am here daily and live 1/2 a planet away. I also use BR but that is a different kind of site really, I lurked for about 3 years before because frankly I didn't think it was very friendly here but that changed and so did my opinion of the place. Good to be part of it and am happy that you guys provide and moderate it, Thank you.
  5. Wow Senator is the only one who mentioned it here, "Ralph IS Cheap" And black out rules have always sucked, period (it was different in a bad way, in the 60s. Even sold out games were blacked out, I mean WTF is that?).
  6. I tend to think that even though I did mention my opinion that he may have Borderline personality disorder (BTW, I have no Psychiatric training, just know a bit about this because of an exGF) I do think it is a treatable disorder. I want him to do well as a Bill if he sticks. Also there is at least another NFL player who has it (and I am sure more than one, really). http://aol.sportingnews.com/nfl/story/2011-10-25/brandon-marshall-becomes-unlikely-voice-for-boderline-personality-disorder
  7. To me he seems to have Borderline personality disorder. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borderline_personality_disorder I hope he has gotten treatment and is okay. I think he did have talent (sort of Flutie like, in an odd way) and it doesn't just go away but am not sure Chan's playbook is translatable to his talents. Buddy is a smart man about football and I think if he sticks, I think I am a whole lot more excited by Merriman's chances of doing well.
  8. What I want our 1-2 punch to be this year FJ and CJ, if it can be then our D is doing it's job and we will have a great year
  9. The first house I lived in was two doors from the corner of Main on Dewey. There was a Texico station on the corner then (my uncles owned it). The house was torn down in the 70s. We moved off of Deerfield when I was 5 and my parents paid 10grand for a three story house with 2 apartments in it. One for my grandparents and one for our family. The top floor my Dad renovated to be bedrooms for the kids. It was great growing up near Kensington pool and the watertower where we played football and baseball.
  10. Check the pictures of Pinto Ron's car (in the same paper and JK) http://kstp.com/news/stories/s2680597.shtml
  11. Interesting stuff, didn't know about any of it. I don't like Chad the player but I will stop calling him Ohnostinko now. Sounds like a very decent human being.
  12. Jack was only 5'10" he was pretty good at the jump pass, (I forgot where I got it, sorry). I remember nothing else about Mr. Day but he must have been playing when I had him in school, which must have been around 66 or so as I am the same age as the Bills. My Dad took me to games when I was truly a baby 2 or 3 years old. Even playoffs, which must have been expensive looking back. I really identified with I went and got a little football signed by Haven Moses, and Mike Stranton (I think) @ a TwinFair appearance one time too. I can't remember much about that or what was going on at games. I do remember the poles being in the way and people throwing beer bottles a couple of times. I think my Dad put me on his shoulders sometimes, when it was exciting but being short was an issue.
  13. Tom Day was my music teacher when I was like 6 (he taught drums, if I remember right) and I was scared crapless of him! He was a very big dude to a 6 year old.
  14. I admit I liked Trent, JP never did. Still think our coach ruined both of them by not having decent lines, horrible judgement of abilities and no idea what the hell scheme would work with each skill set. It is no coincidence that they did well before they were coached by Jaruin and then just got bad as they should have progressed. Damn! I added to the thread again lol.
  15. It is kind of funny to identify people with their pictures on here, I really don't do it. Honestly' I have no idea what PPP is either. And I liked Jack Kemp as a Bflo Bill but didn't like him so much as a politician.
  16. Totally agree. The NCAA and college programs are just money making scams. I wish they would get out of the education field. Just own a team instead and pay these kids already, best of luck to the new league, hope it does well. I will watch it.
  17. He is 18 she is 34, Texas has a weird law if she can get 20 years for that. I realize she is a teacher but he is legal in most senses of the word. If they did this at Universities a lot of them would have to shut down. I wonder if the school she works at is like a college? It does seem post High School. I don't like her for doing this but......don't really think it should be illegal. Signed a person who had an affair with a 34 year old woman when I was in my first year of college but she was a student.
  18. Wow so it wasn't a April fools joke. Cool! That makes this interesting. If they were smart they would put one in Mexico City and maybe some other Canadian city (not TO or Hamilton) nearish the boarder, Just outside of the US is what the NFL would be smart to expand to if they really were interested in making it a "world" sport (which in my opinion they are not in the least). Also Rochester wouldn't be a bad place.
  19. I listened on the radio, it was great to see the Edgerson steal! My friend and I across the street went out in the yard and played one on one toss the ball up to yourself and catch it tackle FB after the game so it is pretty etched in my 9 year mind. I love the 60s D even when they stunk lol. Thanks for posting that up.
  20. IMO the heart and core of the problem here is this: Having to go legal and public to get discovery out there, seems to be expensive and employer biased. With that I feel for the players in the case, I tend to think there are real issues against the NFL even if the alleged did happen. Litigation in the US is always tilted to the richer and often times more "evil" of the parties. It would be wise of the government (which is all run by lawyers, I realize so it ain't going to happen) if litigation were arbitrated before and settlement was reached along with tested for fairness before actual lawsuits (appeals in this case) could be filed. It would save the taxpayers and courts tons of money and make too much sense, of course.
  21. Best comment in the thread Honestly there needs to be a ban on Trent and JP threads on this site, don't care who they play for.
