  1. The season is not coming soon enough for me. How many threads like this can ppl on here actually generate?
  2. Won't we have to see the cuts lists to try guessing this?
  3. Pears can't be PUP'd, you have to be PUP'd before training camp starts.
  4. I agree with both of you, I hope the FO realizes that he is better than Choice or White and keeps 6WRs, (they could always use Corey Mac as a RB or Brad smith or use Smith and Dorin as HBs in passing situations if one or both CJ and FJ go down for a game and it may even work!) he may even be better than Hagan. I know it seems Homeristic to say the home town boy who is a bit slow and doesn't show up as much against some of the better opponents should stick but it is more than that at least with me. He is a proven route runner and has good hands, plus he makes good catches, to me he would be best in the slot. I think the best players should make the roster, the ones who have shown up in games. Last weeks 60 yards, 6 catches and last years performances show Naaman shows up and he is young enough that he should still be getting better. I hope he gets that chance with this team. I don't think that if he is cut he will be sitting at home waiting for a call this year, some one else will pick him up and I hope it is not in our division or conference. I really hope it isn't w/ Brady. He maybe really important to have with the team in December this year on a couple of levels.
  5. See, Ralph is not cheap and Buddy and Chan are holding the purse. I am a bit surprised though too.
  6. Nice observations, I wish I could do the same. I liked what you said about the DEs too, got that opinion during the game (that they weren't really trying to hard), I kind of think it is about injury and staying healthy. I think K. Williams, and Wood were testing things a bit more, both looked beastly to me. What did you think of Merriman's game? BTW I am hoping we see some McKillop w/ the firsts (next week), he seems good to me against the 2s lets see how he is w/ the 1s.
  7. Also I think Edwards was credited with a sack the other night.
  8. This makes the most sense to me but I don't think Troup gets IRed, he will be an outright cut. Moore might also make it over Heard JMO
  9. I kind of think that some of these points have to do with the really good teams in the SEC as compared to the whole of the SEC but I do believe that it is the strongest of the college divisions. I just found the article interesting and wondered what others thought about it. I am not really very interested or up on college ball that much. I am actually kind of neutral on his conclusions but interesting use of stats and examples anyway.
  10. New info for me, thanks. I also didn't notice him @ safety last year. I would like to see more of Mckillop at MLB, Shep was not doing it for me last night while he impressed.
  11. Ahh Dickerson another one I forgot but I keep Corey Mac and make him TE#3 for the final cuts. BTW I agree with most of this but didn't really notice Moats, might have been my stream it cut out a couple of times What is the gel time on a good on paper D switching back to the 4/3 I wonder
  12. By that logic why PLAY Rodgers or Brady in PS then? and are they giving 100%?
  13. Last years first (PS) game was similar, if I remember right, I am not panicked yet.
  14. I live in Thailand, Asia in general is no place to be a dog.... puts these kind of stories in a different perspective.
  15. I don't disagree with you but he really does have some points.
  16. My post was wrong with Howell's name, sorry. Liked Brooks as well, forgot to add him.
  17. When did you see Aaron Williams play FS? Was that his school position? I thought he was always a CB.
  18. I thought Rosie showed up (even with the drop got 6 passes for 60 yards, question does that help? will he make the team?). The back up safety Howard looked good and got a few plays. Mc Killop looked better than Shep to me, Morrision and Moats? where were they? That worries me. Donald Jones looked good in space on his TD catch and run. Shawn Merriman was good when he finally got in with the 2s, Edwards had a sack. Carrinton, nothing I saw. Who did you see that changed your opinion about if they may or may not make the team?
  19. I often wondered about the validity of rankings and this sheds some light on it, interesting read. BTW valid topic since Buddy has leaned on SEC drafts the last 2 years so much. http://www.thepostgame.com/commentary/201208/better-without-em-northern-manifesto-southern-secession-chuck-thompson-sec-bcs sorry SDS I think I may have messed up with the tags, don't know why it didn't work right.
