  1. Signed a 1 year 10 million deal with Philly, Chip makes 1st mistake? Or worth it? http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8936209/michael-vick-signs-one-year-deal-philadelphia-eagles
  2. I really was disappointed at the time he was an over commitment fiend, in my recollection. I barely remember him tackling anyone, now I have to look him up was he here 2 years even? Edit my mistake The Buffalo Bills Alumni Spotlight says, "Lucius Sanford, an outside linebacker with Buffalo for nine seasons, had a tendency to hit running backs head-on, lift them off their feet and plant their backs on the field. Offensive linemen had 'pancake blocks', Sanford had 'pancake tackles." Lol, I just remember his first year, stopped watching for a while until 87.
  3. Dennis Shaw was bad but not as bad as D.D. not even close. We need to replace Paul Guidry too, he was bad at times but was like the Kelsey of the time, team guy showed flashes at times, stuck around for years, how about Lucius Sanford ? I really liked the guy when we got him (saw him in camp or some sort of practice thing) and he was just rotten. Tally played the other side that year and I was excited about our OLBs. I was 1/2 right lol. wow looking at the roster of the 84 team, 1/2 of them they could be in here.
  4. So now we will bring all ex jests! Actually kind of like that idea. I wanted Harris that year too SJF!
  5. Players would be easy to distract just have female guests go pantyless.
  6. I am more upset about Barrnet than Wilson, he was good in the scheme 2 years ago. He wasn't, in the outside position last year but how much of that was coaching? I guess they like Shep? Or have something else in mind. If we go with 3/4 at times he would have been one of my inside choices still.
  7. That is all true, DD was terrible. Benny Russel haven't heard his name in a long time. 1-2 50% completions lol...
  8. Wow was this on twitter (do ppl follow him still?)? I don't know why ppl don't just get over it. It is the past, a bad past who gives an eff what he says anymore? Buck up and move on.
  9. Wow hating on FJ??!! You guys suck more than Chan's play calling and use of personnel.
  10. I didn't think this was about how long it would take. That said yeah Ryan is right.
  11. I am torn. I do think a big part of RF's problems had to do with coaching and bad D but I am not sure he can do better anymore (even a back up should be okay if he is in there). I like him and think he is a competitor but he has very well known faults to work around. Having him here for competition is one thing, having him win the starting job, well, I hope the new staff is better than Chan's.
  12. Opie is right we suck this year and nothing ever changes.
  13. Kapernick has the tools to be a star for a long time, IMHO he will have to be more pocket orintated to last though. Flacco took a pretty long time to develop actually. I when Fitz went on a bit of a decent (might actually be worthy) streak and going into his second season as a starter, Fitz was statistically better than Joe. I watched some of the Ravens games too and Joe was not very accurate although that too was improving. In some ways Flacco has had an Eli like trajectory where as Fitz dropped off. He did indeed have a nice Super Bowl but he wasn't throwing to Lee Evans either. I am also in the boat of the defense of the team helping the O look better, I am glad the FO has invested in it and hope it pays off. Chan had no idea what he was doing IMO in respect to D.
  14. I salute the lack of homophobia on here and see don't ask don't tell went way back.Congrats old man (and yeah he could sing!).
  15. The NFL everything (games too) is for entertainment purposes only. She is yummy hot (yes I would lol), music is okay (yes, I have some DLs of a few songs) people in Bflo have oddly narrow musical tastes, IDK sometimes I think that because on here it is all male football fans. Disco didn't suck and 97 rock did.
  16. This will sound weird but I had it as a teen playing football. I was told by a pediatric Dr. to make a wood wedge thing, 30 degrees and stand on it (point towards the wall) against a wall for 1/2 hour a day (to stretch it out sort of) worked like a charm. Plus was a fun project for a 13 year old. I have always had incredibly flat feet (have more like a bump than an arch really) find shoes that are truly comfortable. I still get pain from some brands but ones with a wide berth and small arch seem to be best with me. It is always the shoe, IMHO that makes the pain. I have bought 200$ Nikes and had to give them away before. Here in Thailand I wear flops most the time that cost 10$ at Tesco (like 7/11) and i am good. Some work shoes I have had here sucked eggs though.
  17. Hmm aren't Fitz's hands small too? I actually don't like Bucky's opinions about why who should go where to "fit" much. I think the coaches and GMs are always the ones who decide this stuff, for better or worse. That throws a wrench in it every time. And I truly doubt we go QB at 8 (at this point).
  18. Doomed! Russ is cheap. I am so !@#$ing done with this team and it's dysfunctional FO! Git er done! F5F5F5F5..... gotta love the off season
  19. I was out driving around most of it, had chains on my 73 Polora's wheels. I worked for Santora's on Main In Williamsville, made great tips! Got chased by the Amherst police one time and lost them! by pulling in a driveway and turning off my lights right after a raised portion of RR tracks lol. People were giving me bags of weed as tips haha. Went and dug my aunt's out from giant! drifts. She lived on Townline rd in Alden we made a tunnel in to her front door and cleaned off the roof so it wouldn't collapse. After the first semi thaw we went back with a plow and really cleaned. My Mom worked at ECMC in the emergency room, it was hard for her, she said it was busy like it was during Attica. I never thought I had an accent until I saw a TV documentary once about it and the plow driver in it sounded just like me. I was living in NYC then and had to admit it then. I was in Bflo for the beginning of the storm after Christmas in 2001? was it? reminded me of 9/11 where I lived I was followed around by the smoke plume everyday for 3 months, (literally it went from my house to where I worked like clock work it seemed) get up to Bflo the day I am leaving the dopler radar showed me getting chased by the snow plume all morning ( I took the car out at like 6:30 so it wouldn't get plowed in and was going to Dunkin donuts where my sister lived, I couldn't find my way back to her house and it took me 2 hours driving around like a blind monkey) when I finally got to my nephews house. I never drove in snow that bad before! I could not see the light poles on the side of the road and my wipers kept freezing up and getting to heavy for the wiper motor to push. Had to pull over every 5 -10 mins to loosen them up. When we actually did get on the road to ngo back to NYC, they had closed i90 and it took 8 hours to get to Rochester. Beyond there, no snow at all. Made me not really want to come back (and I only did for my Mom's funeral in 2002), been a long time since then, 11 years. I don't miss snow, but am thinking about getting back to the states and Bflo might be my landing place again.
  20. I went to a police show at...why can't I remember it was on Main next to the mall as you go in to Clarence, They played Roxanne (I think this was 78 or 9, maybe 80? lol damn I did a lot of brain damaging things to myself back then) it was a Sunday night show, they played it for like 29 minutes and I hated the song from that moment on. I could tell it was going to be a giant hit and thought they were a good band but man so boring and repetitious! I also saw Joan Jett there and she gave me a kiss lol it was a real mouth open kiss too. Maybe the 3 best things I saw there were Herman Brood and His Wild Romance, Aerosmith under a different name and Tom Robinson Band. WTH was the name of that place?
