  1. I agree but doubt Byrd would have liked not getting coin for game 1 (almost 1/2 a million). New guy looks like a typical but good college QB, and Jboys is right fast release. I like that he has athletic abilities, we'll see.
  2. Thanks, most are made from coconut shells, so I like that comment Trust me I am a professional, it just is. Lots of reasons for that, just shows he isn't a professional. He should have a rep and a decent website (especially since he has bank). He might learn but who knows?
  3. First off, would you guys stop quoting people on my ignore list? I hate that. Except he wanted to start and as much as I like Fitz and almost feel that he should still be a starter somewhere. I don't think it should be in BFLO. How would Fitz even have reacted if it was an open competition and he played like he has been in Tenn (very well so far)? But then he didn't start the season; I am not sold that he wouldn't have been "a locker room cancer". I would argue THAT would have hurt EJ's development. I do agree he would have been a good #2 but it really wasn't feasible and he'd gone gone at the end of this year anyway. At this point I would call it almost Washington like. By the way being benched by Leech, that earns my respect more that hurts it (sorry Senator, nothing personal). Kolb being out of the picture is okay with me (by the way all the best and thanks for being a Bflo Bill, good luck and good health to you KK) as I didn't want him here in the first place but I do see why they did it. I wanted the guy that went to the Stillers to be a back up, he is a good back up and okay QB but even then EJ wouldn't have been "earning the job". I think that him feeling that is part of the thinking here and it was a good idea, we all saw what happened with JP.
  4. Man, that picture of Junior with his face down in the grass (at the bottom with an article or video linked) Just makes me sad.
  5. Compare this all maybe with being a richard. You have to be careful of a richard he is out there all the time just waiting to get hit or kicked or concussed. Here is a pro and cons I found on the interwebs Pros for Richards: Its much easier to go pee behind a bush when your in the middle of nowhere and get desperate Its far far easier to get an orgasm (about 20 seconds usually does it !) Orgasms are more intense. It doesnt need much looking after Its a lot less messy Pros for Kitties: They don't demand attention when you wake up in the morning They look a whole lot better in a swim suit or tight dress You don't have to compare them (or size) to your friends They don't fill your body with testosterone They can keep going & going So you are saying Kitties (or women as we know them better as and yes I do mind you using a sexual objectification/symbolism on a thing of great beauty, to refer to a some what fragile athlete), are cowards? Maybe it is your concussions speaking. I am sure your Mother had to be brave to get your wiggling little head thru her kitty. EDit: that wasn't worded so well but I am tired and I am sure you get the point. And I agree with the basic premise that Kolb seems easily injured, I never wanted the guy in the first place.
  6. I doubt that we will pick anyone from 1st cuts because no one will drop a QB they think they might be able to trade, then final cuts..... the season is days away then.... I imagine they will just hope Kolb is not done and do nothing unless he is. So maybe they will pick up someone then but it will depend. After training camp qb pick ups, won't see the field for weeks. And yeah the TJ thing is biting them in the butt right now but some good can come from this, maybe Tuel will learn. Failure can be a good thing, he has had tons of reps now (and no I didn't see the game yet, so that may be why I am saying that lol), Let's all wish EJ Good Health!
  7. Batch would be a better back up then Kolb IMO, I also like who the stillers have backing up the rapist now, wish we had scooped him up.
  8. So anyone want to step back from these opinions? There is still time,
  9. So this what a board melt down looks like. A taco melt, interesting. I am never going to visit a "would ya" thread that you post again. Charlie Batch is still out there, I always thought he was a decent back up.
  10. According to Pettine the outside CBs will not get much over the top help from either safety and will mostly be lined up in man to man (and that has been the case in at least the first preseason game, the second I couldn't tell as much). I find that with the relative lack of speed of our FS will seem to be an issue and think Byrd may get beat some down field this year (not so much by his ineptitude but by the seemly soft spot in the scheme). Although, he may still end up with a decent interception total because of the deception involved in some of the fronts and the lacking of strictly defined positions (including his own), should be interesting to see how it plays out. He has really picked up his tackling skills and separating players from the ball the last couple of years and I see that as a plus against the run too (as on some plays he should be closer to the LOS and playing almost like a SS). Thanks for the write up, interesting to read.
  11. My cousin worked on it, some good stories about overtime, corruption and how well it was engineered. They probably could dome it up cheaply because they sunk it down pretty deep. It also does have great sightlines which after the rockpile was a big concern to a lot of people.
  12. The thread title said you gotta wait a few more years. I'll go with that.
  13. I am an artist, he should study, practice and modernize his thinking (and website) a bit more, it looks teen-aged and amateurish. He shows some promise but not very impressive depth, sort of flashy and honestly he is selling to cheap. I am not sure what he means by collaborations either? Better than his pass rushing skills. Some of mine are here. http://alanvanevery.wix.com/alan-van-every#!
  14. I stopped, 3 or so years ago. Don't miss it either. Now weed, that I kind of miss.
  15. You can't cover it with that, I can smell it from here (and no I didn't).
  16. "War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength" Orwell 1984 just an fyi.
  17. I agree with most of this, I think the Bills made the choice already just by signing him and will stick with it at least a year or 2 because they invested. I think coach is hard on him and yes, he still needs to show. Can you imagine if they cut Eric Moulds? EDIT: I should add if he effs up, in a drug induced way he is a goner.
  18. This all sounds really familiar to me but my Dad passed in 89 and never saw a Bills team in a SB, He took me to a Champ game in the 60s and it was wild for a little kid (although I can't really remember stuff except not being able to see). All the best you and yours and RIP to a dedicated Bills fan! Hope you and I get to see out team win a superbowl! We gotta! GO BILLS!
  19. I just realized this is a "wood ya" thread. Sort of.
