  1. Welch, no. He looks terrible to me. Saving face for him (long time Bill and all that), maybe looking for a Shep type deal, guarantees that both teams get who they want, instead of going through the iffies of waivers, just a few reasons.
  2. One thing to keep in mind for a cut more than 4 year vet is their salary counts unless signed after the 1st game. I am not sure if the contract is voided then and they need a new one? I think so but I forget details. Not sure how much Winfield or Drayton cost these days though.
  3. Nah he's still dirty (or ppl wouldn't be trying to take his head off) , but I always liked him anyways.
  4. So you are changing your name to Sargent Foresight? I could agree but honestly, at this point who knows?
  5. Kolb and Leinart BYE! BYE! and best of luck to you both.
  6. So, "you can never have enough good DBs?" BillinNYC' s head is going to explode.
  7. No, no curse, really.............stop. The team has blown for a lot of reasons, none of them had to do with superstitions, maybe some bad luck but, you make your own luck so I don't even buy that. I even wore my Buffalo shirt today, see it didn't help.
  8. So are we going to "run him out of town", cause I like watching gimpy guys run. And then make super good plays on their new teams when they are in the playoffs
  9. I like the emailed comments better, some good and funny stories in there.
  10. I am assuming since this quote is from John Wawrow, that he got this from the team (qouted above) " Tuel is expected to get limited playing time because the Bills are wary of having yet another quarterback hurt before opening against New England on Sept. 8."That means Leinart and Thaddeus Lewis, who was acquired Sunday in a trade with Detroit, will get the majority of snaps after only two days of practice and a walkthrough.

  12. How'd I miss this? Good post and if you can't laugh at this you don't know what adversity is. We are adversity! and we love it.
  13. I did lots of that AD stuff when I was a kid, I just loved it. We had a good source too a trainer/doc at a local track. A shoe box full cost us all of 90$ and we could sell it for more than 2000$, I paid my first 2 years of school with that money (well I sold weed and micro dots too but that was mostly so I wouldn't have to pay for them). I only knew one kid that flipped a little when he took it and not that badly either, I always wondered how lucky we were.
  14. Leech is a tool, this is but another example. Actually, now I read it he didn't say anything bad really. I take it back.
  15. Twerking is cool,I even like when skinny assed little 20 year olds do it. I used to go to a club on St, Marks place in NYC in the early 90s which a lot of black people went to and they all danced like that. It was/is sexy. I have no problem with it being on TV.
  16. If I were them I would go slow down, run the ball smash mouth foot ball with a bit of playaction thrown in. Keep you D off the field and let the rookies make early mistakes or go 3 and out. Then go fast after 1/2 time to crush any resistance and run up the points. As long as our QB's start slowly (which is likely, IMO) Bills 17 Pats* 40 or something would be expected. God, that is depressing.
  17. Astro made some kickass training camp threads, I don't get the problem.
  18. Way to make my ignore list! Good Job! BTW I just want to quote some one else's signature on here "after Tuesday the rest of the week goes WTF" (it's either Beerball or Just Jack, I think). And BTW Byrd is the first best player on the D with Mario 2nd, right now IMO. Gilmore did great for a rookie (and yeah, damn doom and gloom, we will miss him) but still has to be a distant 3rd.
  19. I really hope this doesn't bite us like the decision to not pick up another QB last week is now, this could be worse. Or the rest of the league could pass on him and we can put him on the PS, I guess I would good with that. I kind of hate to see potential wasted on a team like ours and of course had high hopes.
