  1. See night games are better for me, they start early morning but not in the middle of the night. 3;30 am is a hell of a time to start watching a game.
  2. I read one chris brown's blog post, that on some plays EJ only reads 1/2 the field and this is why Garhem was open but he didn't see/ throw to him (a few times). He is doing great but it is his rookie year, I am encouraged and not quite sold yet. With that said GO EJ, GO BILLS! BTW whoever said EJ's hand offs look a bit off still is right, hope they get that worked out before it causes a TO.
  3. Wasn't it rented and he must have forgot to return it? I know I do that a lot. Naw, he thinks EJ might be a banger. Not so much idle curiosity IMO
  4. I hate em, I live in Thailand and we are 11 hours ahead right now, so this weeks game is at 3:30 am? Yeah go (yawn) team. I guess I will try to sleep early and get up for it. It is nonsense that they do this.
  5. Same here and I think Brown is better than ppl on here are giving him credit for. Plus he is smaller than Andy was. Around Hangradener's size. Purely a back up IMO.
  6. Me too. Apparently though wins or losses. I'm still here. But this version really does seem different. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!
  7. I give him credit for going for 2 and trusting Carpenter on the 55 yarder after the miss. The defensive scheme and the success on offense against a very good front 7. EJ being prepared. There are some things he must take the blame for as well. The play calls (two fades in particular) that made us go for a FG instead of getting the TD. Play calls before the 2 min warning at the half (or maybe pace, would be a better complaint). The cover 2 before the half after that and allowing Carolina to march down the field.
  8. A lot of connections between these teams will be interesting to see how the D's play for both teams with the coaching connections. I look for a tough game. I really want us to get the division win and do it at an away game for a change. From BB.com chris brown http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/What-to-watch-for-Bills-at-Jets/922790ce-3818-4b6b-b872-5957a3e51d20
  9. Both have to improve no doubt, and penalties are still there to work on too. Both showed improvement Sunday but it still hurts us.
  10. This was in the "those who saw Manual" thread Just thought I'd post it here because you can see the pass blocking well and play it over and over. Oh and last thing this and the three guys thread are pretty similar and should be merged IMO
  11. Oi, you are right, I didn't realize that they finally IR'd him (and Buddy saying it was my primary reason for that speculation, well... along with Pears doing so well right now).. And an irony, people said Glenn was a better guard and we should move him back inside.
  12. Thanks for that! The line played extremely well (Carolina's front 7 are really good), 6 hurries/scrambles (no sacks or one sack if you count the fumble) one on CJ, one on Urbik/Wood (but more Urbik), a designed blitz with no one to pick up the 2 blitzers (on the winning TD btw) and 3 on Brown only one, which was real bad. People are killing Brown on this board and should take a look at that clip. I did think he was a bit worse in run blocking during the game but I would like to have a look at those too. IMO he played good enough, not great but decent, he's a JAG player so that is good in my book.
  13. Colin Brown isn't bad, he is a JAG but he is actually pretty decent JAG, if he was bad EJ simply would not have any time. He has played against 2 very good lines the last two weeks just as Glenn and Urbik have. He is at least as good as Rinehart. Rinehart was okay too but people on here never liked him when he played either. All that being said Brown's run blocking this year has been less than good, which is the opposite of his strengthens in the past, I think it is the change in scheme. He is getting much more 1 on 1 assignments this year than even Andy did in the past. I think Pears is doing a really wonderful job this year. It might be an option to have Hairston (sp?) play LG if the staff really feels it is necessary to do so. I thought Legursky looked like crap before he was hurt, I don't know maybe it is my computer and I am seeing different games.
  14. Agree with point 1 Point 2, we went to cover 2 right before the half. and then Carolina did on our final drive
