I really don't have an issue with your screen name and so I am sorry you think it was personal. Hell I am an artist, so I could almost have the same screen name and think it fits me, as well. If I didn't think your view (in most things you post on here) is kind of warped (I mean come on, it was what 6 years ago, the team is almost entirely different from the owner on down, how many guys are even still on the team from that time period? 3 or 4 maybe), I would have not brought up the screen name. I am sorry, I should have just stayed out of the thread entirely. There are others discussing it, (BTW if I were to reply it would have been along the lines of what Hopeful wrote) so good for you and your oversized keyboard, I guess. I kind of find apple to oranges comparisons a tad boring and not what I come on here for. A good rule of thumb with the internet is not to believe every thing you read btw, I know I couldn't believe what you wrote and expect people to take seriously in your original post, which I guess was what prompted my observation (which let me reiterate again, wasn't a personal attack), so I guess you and I are alike in that respect. Thanks for your special attention to my reply and not involving yourself much in the rest of the discussion though. It actually turned into a better conversation than I imagined it would. Cheers and no hard feelings, I hope.

OP I say it again, you have the right screen name. Must be fun living in a house of mirrors.

Wow, I really liked Robey last year, I sort of hope it wasn't just scheme. "That's not to say that Robey didn't have a good season last year. He did, and he's a high-character player within the Bills' locker room. But between the Bills signing Graham and drafting cornerback Ross Cockrell in the fourth round, there are signs that Robey may not fit as well within Jim Schwartz's scheme as he did within Mike Pettine's system."

Hernandez indicted in connection with a double homicide
bowery4 replied to Golden Wheels's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Had to start it anew I guess, Hernandez double-homicide indictment happened. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/aaron-hernandez-double-homicide-indictment--no-athlete-has-had-a-fall-like-this-180349961-nfl.html Stupid thug. He played after cold blooded murder, for a year. Just surreal in many ways. -

Your usual typical response, surprise, surprise. As to the conclusion of your post, we get you think SJ sucks, watch how he does this year and get back to us, will you? -
You're talking about Jboys, right?

I like it. I was afraid he would go for Dennis Shaw/Brad Smith's old number.

:worthy: LMFAO! The first events after the Washington preseason game which opened the stadium for me were big concerts and there were, in effect very large weed concessions. Guys with signs (and boxes of weed at their feet) that said nickel 5$ , dime 10$ lid 15$ ounce 20$ for Mexican and slightly higher for Colombian. Some of them also had acid and other assorted goodies. They stopped letting this practice continue in 75 when Mike Ameko (sp?) was the new sheriff (Rolling Stones concert was one big bust land, man) one of my friends got arrested and jailed for 15 years for coke. Surprise enforcement was never fair, BTW I don't ever remember there being fights at those events.

More football related brain trauma information.
bowery4 replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is semi related and I thought it was interesting in the way that some players seem out of control http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/news/fullstory_145972.html http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/04/28/new-research-shows-half-of-all-homeless-have-suffered-traumatic-brain-injury.html -
Can you imagine being a photographer or artist during WWII?
bowery4 replied to Beerball's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Very good (and I say that as an artist), his Chapel is very nice too. DC has the same opinion as I, so far as the colors, which don't seem to fit the subject (as compared to him not being good at color, he is definitely a good colorist). I would be interested in seeing work that isn't about the war, I am sure he must have done some. -
No he wasn't, he's very bad artist and seems to know nothing about art. He might be a good artist on Ebay but he isn't getting shows in galleries like good artists strive to. His art IQ may even be lower than his abilities as a football player. All that said, good for him to have retired, being an artist takes a lot of work, learning and commitment and have some unspecified millions of dollars really can be helpful.

Report: Bills attempted to trade up for Carlos Hyde
bowery4 replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why does this remind me of this: Please, please! This is supposed to be a happy occasion! Let's not bicker and argue about who killed who. We are here today to witness the union of two young people in the joyful bond of the holy wedlock. Unfortunately, one of them, my son Herbert, has just fallen to his death. But I think I've not lost a son, so much as... gained a daughter! For, since the tragic death of her father-- He's not quite dead! Since the near fatal wounding of her father-- He's getting better! For, since her own father... who, when he seemed about to recover, suddenly felt the icy hand of death upon him,... Oh, he's died! And I want his only daughter to look upon me... as her own dad -- in a very real, and legally binding sense. -
Character, I am a character guy. Everyone who knows me says "What a character".
