  1. and have made post season lately. Sorry not trying to be too negative, just want to see more b4 camp.
  2. Is it just me or is this where we sit down and do nothing until training camp. Last year we went into the season with holes. Will the FO do anything to make the team better in the coming weeks? What do you think?
  3. I was going to say draft OJ or Bruce. You beat me to it. Or trade it to the Raiders, Cowboys or the Redskins.
  4. Poor Trent! this is just stupid, now they trade Rosco and we lose two players who start and are the best (or close to it) at what they do, RW = cheap and I never said that b4.
  5. I kind of agree with you Magox but kind of doubt there is a 3rd to be had for him.I think it is ok to shop anyone to see what you can do to improve. I wonder if the FO is as smart as that though. Honestly, so is TO if you think about it a one year role is kind of dumb and limited in some ways. agree J.J. is taking more rooster space IMO since he is also a one trick pony. Co is one of our playmakers, we don't have many we should keep him unless we get another for him
  6. rip Coach Lou. Prayers and condolenses to your family. You are my 50th year aniversery team coach always were.
  7. 1 agree 2 agree 3 before he sucked for the last 1/2 of the season, agree. I hope to see the guy have a great year. I think he could be great but the proof is in the pudding.
  8. Easy answer, I was born and raised a Bills fan, not that that is a good easy or fun thing If it wern't for them I might not even watch football much.
  9. with one less tight end they could go 7, Jenkins and Parish are Bobby guys dont see either of them going.
  10. When people refer to TE are they saying Tight End or Trent Edwards? TO Terrible Owens or Toronto? JP Jason Peters or Losman? Just more useless crap for this use less thread
  11. 1. No team with two 1st rounders is going to trade them both. Why? " Ryan Leaf, QB, San Diego Chargers (1998) The Chargers traded two first-round picks, a second-round pick and Pro Bowler Eric Metcalf for a quarterback who would alienate teammates, infuriate fans and produce a mere 21 starts with 14 touchdowns and 36 interceptions. And to think he was weighed against Peyton Manning. " 2. Peters price is about right for a young 2 time probowl LT if they get him for 9- 10 mil. plus incentives (sounds like Lees deal and IMO Peters plays a more important role). 3. Trent Cole is good but rookies probably won't fill the rest of the holes on this team (esply on the O line). Our D was half good last year, our O not. I do like trading for a trent Cole type player, but not for Peters. 4. Trading Peters THIS year (with TO) would be stupid and Trent will spend more time on his ass than last. 5. Peters looked good after week 8 or so last year, other teams have to game plan for him, I say it again he deserves to be paid as much as Lee did.
  12. don't make sense, the owner also says we have no talent. BTW high draft picks cost money too.
  13. news to me, link? I'd say offer 9.5 and be done with it, of course it is not my money but we have the room.
  14. I agree it should be removed, there are posters here who write better and are more informed.
  15. BAAAHHHAAAAHHHHHAAAAAA that is some funny Sh1t right there.
  16. 1. yes but will it happen???????????????????????????????????????????????? 2. I hate that we made a hole in the line BEFORE addressing the issue. 3. Yeah now that it is too late to get another FA who is good, what choice do we have. I hope Bowen (sp?) is good 4. I like it but will there be a good one in the draft, I could see them seeing how developed Fine is at passes and using Scholman for blocking for the year to let a rook develop. I wish they would do something!!!! Trading is an idea I like. 5. If the line is good they will IMO, if it is last years line or worse......................... TO won't be an issue Trent getting injuried and Fitzwhatever will be. 6. C.J. is he that much better than Crow? Why don't we sign them both and have them compete. It would still be a cheapish option (and the money would be well spent) I hate we have no real back up there, Ellision proved to be much less of a player than Crow last year. 7. So much of this has to go on Trents shoulders as well. I hope he is half the star as I think he can be, starting now. 8. The coach still sucks the and FO seems to be most interested in selling tickets, that said I will watch the first 7 games again and go from there.
  17. Yeah cut him with out having his replacement that seems to be a good idea . We seem to love to have holes that can be filled by other (at this point) unknown players. I want to know who is going to replace Dock first and have someone locked up BEFORE we let anyone else leave (even if they suck, although I agree he is half decent at run plays). I would like to see him go but who do we get first (that is better, right now) The draft takes time, esply on the lines. So we are wasting some of RWs cash. It is not like he doesn't have any to spend.
  18. NYC is a 1 hour flight away, no problem!!!
  19. I like the TO signing (he might be one of the best offensive weapons on the team since OJ or Kelly) but this is a team that went down badly after the first six games last year. The team is not that different yet. The coach is the same, the problems are the same they still have the hole in the rooster that they made when they IR'd Crow last year. Now they have made some new holes and just let our best CB walk for a fraction of the TO signing (wtf was the problem with keeping a talented player?????? too many to afford pffffft!). I think the O should be better if they upgrade with some vets (on the line) but who is there left now? The D front 7 is unchanged. Putting rookies on the lines is not the answer (remember a few years ago "it takes a line time to gel, we're going to be great next year"). Ellison is not the answer. Is a back up center the answer? We don't know. Will Dick even let rookies play, or will it be the the same good players on the bench til someone get hurt, then the revelation that the back up is better. If Stevie Johnson played all season last year would we even need a 2nd reciever? We just don't know. (although I must say TO should be good at helping groom our young guys, just having a great player around can help). Bone headed game/playcalls will continue and I think TO will see it and call them out (I would think anyway). I could see this as being a good thing, but will it change things? Will TO get Trent mad about playing "not to lose", will the players still like Dick? Will they still defer? I like the move to get TO but playoffs? Sorry, not with this coach/ team as it is.
  20. I tend to agree with these and hope I am wrong, Flo is average at best .JG underdog blue collar hard working student of the position and the game. Having 3 good CBs and putting one at nickel is good! We have the $ and should have kept him. It also says A LOT to the rest of the FAs around the league about our FO and is a bad thing. We are not NE and can not AFFORD to screw around like we are.
  21. This is a mistake,JB is much better and not that much more $$
  22. hey thats what I said Lori (of course you said it better) What do you think of Cookie vs Thurman? Both played all around games, in their own way for their eras. Both very feared weapons but very different. Both instramental in Buffalo afl/afc championships........ I pick Cookie because of his smash mouthness (and maybe because his feelings for Ralph).
  23. disgrace that there is one spot. OJ, Cookie then Thurman. OJs 4.7ypc was even though his teams were either bad or at best averagely good. OJ and Bruce were the best Bills players ever. OJ was to the offence what was Bruce was to the D and maybe more. About Thurman being better. OJ was the only thing teams had to defend against. Bobby and JD didn't even compare to Lofton and Reed and Pete. Cookie was a bull. Thurman was great but sorry.
  24. Think the team could have been named the Buffalos (why bother with a nick when the name is an animal already). Buffalo Bills is kinda weird. I dislike the newer uniforms too but graphics and the Bills/never really was a strong suit. The old red Buffalo for instance.I hope someday they find a new designer and start over.
