  1. It was an interesting game, 1st off I hadn't heard about Kindle, shame that liked him in college. Troy Smith vs Bulger, IMO Bulger gets the nod at this point. Just don't see what ppl who were talking about us picking up/trading for him were going on about. Gotta agree with Doc, Oher didn't show much. Cody is so freaking big! On a good team like the ravens he might be really great. They really have good lbs. that one arm slap in the face tackle he made was mean. Carolina's QB group is really young inexperienced and from what I saw Classen could be the best of the group. Moore might be ok but who knows the team is young, they will grow. I am pretty sure we did the right thing not taking him though. Time will tell. It could be interesting with that Edwards guy, he looks like a player, I liked how Jaws was going off on his talent. He really stayed on the field a lot. The Car. receivers never showed up either though, so a team with no good QB and no receivers, but a pretty tough D. They might see 8/8 this year wouldn't expect better. The Raven are a good team and looked that way. Smith was responsible for most of the sacks IMO. I expect really good things from Bal this year.
  2. Farve will play and with him they may win the SB, without him no chance. And also I posted it in the other thread BF is one of the top 10 football players in history, maybe top 5. It is a privilege to watch him still. I don't like his personalty but that doesn't change the facts. I am pretty sure the Viks know what is going on with his "decision" too but all this press is good for them and it is how he wants to play it so they go along with it.
  3. I hate our division (rivals) equally, there are reasons to hate them all 50 years worth. I would rather we were in the AFC North and we could hate the Steelers, Browns, Cinncy and actually have a better chance at the title this year (this is assuming Balt was in our spot , of course). BTW we beat the Jests last year and there is reason to believe we will do it again this year. The Pats*, I really really want that damn streak to end, right now I hate them even more than I did the %^#*ing fish!!
  4. ^^^^ what he said, even on the stupid HoF show I watched they talked about OJ, he was one of the great football players even with what ever he did after his career and where he is now. BTW JB should be #1 IMO Oh and the Farve (even if he is/might or not going to play this year). There have also been other better QBs then Johnny U. but he was a great player, Y.A. would at least be comparable if they are trying to get it done by putting people from eras.
  5. Oh and if someone does do what the OP suggests can people PM me PLEASEEEEEEE!
  6. I just went into a panic! Damn it is going to be hard here in Bangkok, the government here now (they didn't last year) has blocks on Justin, channel surfing, and ustream, because of the emergency situation (which is still in effect) last year the feeds were really slow from atdhe at this point it looks unblocked. Cable don't show much, 5 games a week..... or maybe it was 4. I had a mac last year but switched a pc, how does that sop thing work for the p2p site? Is it hard to use, fast? I NEED my Bills games!!! BTW Scooby I take back my rant at you about starting threads if you know what to do and share it I was looking forward to all the 1pm (am, here)games, a thing that sucked about last year was 4pm (am, here starts) games, now I wonder if I will be able to see anything at all! If someone has sling box in buffalo and lives here how does that work?

  8. Only 9 players 30 and above and 2 are kickers. This is a young team, so they may lose quite a bit. The plus side is the potentiality. I guess that is what you get when there are no players here drafted by us 8 years ago. I posted this in another thread but thought it was interesting enough to have its own. Buffalo Bills Draft History 2002-2009 databaseFootball.com **putting this up here because you have to look at the full draft IMO* I do see the point, but well, more information is better. I also think it doesn't really matter what draft slotting someone has so far as if they improve the team (of course it does in other ways. i.e dollars and future drafts) After looking at it, I think the fact we have no one on the team that we drafted only 8 years ago is a pretty BIG disappointment! and inditment of the FO but the last few years have improved. 11. um..... how many ppl have told you to stop making stupid unnecessary threads everytime you feel like you have to pee Tweedledumb.
  12. I am not surprised the Bills have cut him, he will see IR if they liked him no one is going to claim him. They might pick up a camp player to relieve him this week (or maybe they are looking for that gem hiding on some one else's cut list), unless they want to give the really young guys more practice, although that is an injury risky thing to do. They have 7 at the moment should carry 6 into the season. I see it as being everyone but Roosevelt makes the team and he goes to PS for the year, at least at the moment.

  14. Look at it this way, I am an artist have been for 28 years or so. I just doodled in HS and got in to college with a really pretty bad portfolio. I wasn't skilled. I was good with color but not that great at drawing. I also wasn't good at composition or meaning. I definitely could not make a masterpiece. People I had as teachers taught me a lot of fundamentals, it did matter and it wasn't long before my skills developed and people told me I had talent. I really just worked hard, practiced and developed my skills. I have made some things that people have told me were masterpieces some of them in my first 2nd and 3rd years of my artistic maturity. It should be the same for players and coaches. Even jaroun could coach the Dbacks. He knew how to teach those players. I also ran a couple of businesses, I sucked at math before that experience but got better, that is what practice and teaching do for you if you are a good student and have good teachers. I think Galley know what he has with this coach. Galley did a very smart thing and said open competition, (in other words talent draft position doesn't matter, show me your skills) I think he is a very creative and honest leader I would expect he has men around him that are the same. Also it is just PR to sell more tickets and a bunch of other things that are in this thread.
  15. I'd like to see 1s and 2s and3s in here as they are the most likely to succeed on most teams, our QB is a 3rd, back up maybe a 2nd but wouldn't be great if Parrish broke out all over the place this year under the new system McCargo did decent (from what I have been reading he is having a good camp) in the past he showed flashes, maybe he just needed last year to happen to kick him in the butt. Lynch got back to the year before last, he has competition/contracts coming up, I would think pride Mckelvin will see plenty of field time so he may as well be starting even if he is nickel Hardy ....... develops (he has time BECAUSE of draft position and age/injury) We give 3 years to coaches and wide outs I think he gets it too. so does Maybin There is potentional Really we have been pretty good in the 2nd half (think players like Stevie J and esply Byrd) of the draft too but on a shtty team that is par for the course as someone has to start lol
  16. Wang was going to (and still might) get to play during the season. Easley was likely to contribute. So that's the first 5 picks Considering that 2 that are out might be out for a while out of the first 5 picks, our most likely to succeed rookies are doing ok. If we get any production out of the other 4 (although one of them is injured as well) or any of the UFAs we are doing fine, injuries are going to happen, esply to rookies since they are young and less physically mature, the good thing is they heal a bit faster. If we get people contributing out of the draft class as we did last year I will be happy with it.
  17. I wasn't really posting this about Maybin but I guess there was no way to keep it off that subject. I liked Torbor and think he is a solid pick up. It is funny to me you see so many posts that say pick up a vet FA to tutor the young guy but when we do just that the young guy is a bust. Maybin gets time no doubt in my mind.
  18. Ok I will say what I will, after the 4 year train wreck that was the nightmare of coach Jarhead, I am only happy he left us with a decent secondary, but it is no surprise since that is where so many draft choices/FA pick ups were. But good luck to Bobby A. this year, I would have liked to see him finish the season as HC last year. I am happy we got De Haven back though too.
  19. I woke up in a bed in the psych center once, what can I say Buff States Rathskeller was fun when I was in school there.
  20. It is hard to notice a db coach in th NFL
