So KTFAB did you get us down to 53 with that list, actually looks alright. I kind of think they bring in and cut a fair amount the next 2 weeks. There will be some players that they might want a look at.

Corto yes, Hardy maybe,Sean Allen, maybe a fullback (Freguson is my guess), Cary Harris and Dominique Harris. Am I at 5 yet? These cuts are the easy ones.

Doesn't say what they got for him but interesting just the same. I kind of think they will miss him. Doesn't seem they have the depth to do that really.

Bell is not THAT guy. I know he makes the roster and think we keep 4. He looks really good, Jackson didn't look this good in pre-season before he started.

I watched him play some last season he is not bad, I agree with you for he most part in most instances (at least about this kind of post) but not this one. I don't know what Denver is thinking they are not that good at LB and if they want to throw away a decent player, well then yeah. Git er done Buddy BTW look him up he isn't garbage, my prediction; he stays on waivers about a day and a half. BTW I am unemployed so if anyone wants to refer me to the Bills, I wouldn't argue.

I would like to see him in a Bills uniform, he has always been decent not spectacular, very consistent. I would give him a look. He a is back up at least or better (on this team).

Cut the long snapper +1 to the running backs (I hate that we keep him, there must be other players that could step up to this job, and yes I know it is done to minimize the injury issue during the season) it is the perfect job for a back up Oline player, ever since teams started doing this (and our team in particular) it has had my panties in a bunch.

We have many players who have been around for 3 -7 years who didn't ever make the difference that you would assume they should have. I am kind of hoping that they were not developed probably and Chan and co. know how to correct the mistakes that were made and bring out the best of guys who always were decent. I kind of think Jaroun lost the team after his first year or maybe some of them never bought into his ways of thinking (and doing things) in the first place. Play not to lose is just stupid, I would have wanted out of here too if I was a good player (puts the Jason Peters thing in a different perspective too). I also think RW was wrong a couple of years ago when he said that we didn't have any talent, we did have some pretty high draft picks that were very mismanaged. Here now, after the disaster they know they have to pick it up and have a coach that will expect a lot more or they are out of here (to a place that would be more of the same no doubt). That is one of the positives that come with changing coaches and having a real GM. I expect that the team will look better after they used to the system and have some games under their belts, I am looking for them to look better the second half of the season and hope they find a way to get through the first few (and hardest games of the schedule) with out having too many key injuries and a couple of wins. I say it with more hope than in the recent past, GO BILLS!

I was kind of wondering if they cut one on the 31st or keep them both until final cuts, also who you play and what team they play with the next 2 weeks (1s or 2s). I still wouldn't be altogether surprised if Trent got the ax in the end (if next weeks game looked really really bad on his part). I am not sure who I am rooting for to win this thing and I hope the Chan knows what he is doing. Yesterday (and his history with run of the mill guys) is encouraging though.

He blocks well and runs his routes well (as pointed out above). Why bash him? He is a 7th round pick who is beating out a 2nd round pick from the same year. He has upside and yeah he hasn't been very involved yet. Give it time. Maybe he does suck, maybe he is good, he has shown stuff in last years and the year before that pre-seasons. This stuff takes time, is he a play-maker. We didn't know Moulds was until his third year........ I really hate repeating all this crap about every player but... You know some guys come on at later points in the year or their career, this whole team is young, they had bad coaches on offence esply. I have some patience with this project. Not that many players are difference makers, talent takes time to develop. bla bla bla The new guy caught a comeback pass last night (sorry, I only remember his first name Andre), not a bad thing after what 2 or 3 practices.

About the special teams: 1. We are trying lots of new bodies out there and there isn't the same group that have been out there for the last couple of years. 2. Last year there was a drop off as well. 3. DeHaven, if you read his profile on BB.com, really is better at getting offence out of the STs, only in Buffalo the first time was this not true. Expect a better return game/team but the cover teams may look worse. 4. This is an area that also take a bit of time to gel, give it a bit of time. They are trying lots of different people in the return slots and gunners. Until cuts are made all teams have a bit of trouble with this if they are young teams. 5. I trust coach DeHaven, they will improve.

Yeah it is true he is not the future in all probability but I like him any way. Tries hard when he's healthy, over time he did show improvement.

So Trent looked ok tonight and it (at this point) looks like he will be the starter. So now the question comes up, what will be the rotation the rest of the pre-season. How should it go in your opinion? I am interested to see what Chan does before Aug 31 (I can't imagine one will go then but you never know) and then final cuts. I am at a loss what I would do with these guys next game and the one after. Start BB with the 1st team? for a quarter? Do that with Fitz the second game? How would that be good for Trent? Stay with the rotation we had the last 2 weeks and then the #2 doesn't get as many reps as we should give him. Plus if he isn't with the first team we aren't really seeing who plays best really. One thing I will say about BB's performance this week is he was in during a game which we were competitive in. It gives him an advantage over Fitz's last week. So even though BB played well, I am not totally buying that he is better. Should be interesting what happens this coming week.
