  1. The draft has a predetremined budget, so yeah he gets trust with what he is going to spend there. So if your is a quick fix who plays WR for us as the #1 this year and next? You left a gapping hole in our roster which is already a weakness.
  2. Thanks for the info JW, he was gimpy I saw that as well, I saw him in the 2nd a couple of times as the nickel I thought too. When I saw Corner in there, I thought he must be hurt.
  3. Wow your pretty new, great post, very insightful. Have you meet Benjamin Barker you should look at his threads too, I think you will like them.
  4. He's a facepainter he would not be popular around here, only children and clowns do THAT. That is what Buddy does, I am sure he must be doing that all the time. I am sure there is a bit more to it then we know but he is out there looking for guys that can contribute he said so on Monday! I really want to know how he gets his hair to look like that after he has his helmet on, pictures gotta be before a game IMO Or he stands around on the sidelines fixing it.
  5. 1.IMO The main reason the Cheats and SD have let these guys sit is because they don't know what will happen with the CBA next year. 2.RW has even more at stake if you think of it that way, when was the last time we signed a FA from our own team to a big contract. Lee Evans I believe, no? I don't think our owner is going to like you trading a player he paid rather large and likes a lot. Eply when his lack of production has more to do with the QB and the line than his ability. 3.Kraft prolly is offering a lot less than Mankins was asking. The saying I'm sorry publicly is dumb. 4.I like some of these moves but Lee is a good player and frankly I am sick of seeing players who used to be Bills around the league doing good or great while we sit in the cellar. Also I think RWs wallet might be sewn shut unless there is a real need that Nix can sell it to him him bigtime, Nix aint Marv and RW prolly looks at it with a little less empathy when a GM tries to sell him an idea these days. 5.I am pretty sure after watching the QB club vid that Nix is coming around to Ralph and saying we need to do this or that and maybe he always has to do a bit of a sale to make it fly. I am sure they all think Green sucks and RW is trying to think the best way to get the replacement on the cheap if he can. It is always a gamble and he has been burned on some of those, also he is a small market owner and needs to do it in an economizing and safe way. A GM doesn't just need dealing skills in the NFL they need to be great sales men to get rich ppl to open the purse. Rich ppl are conservative with their money and always want a discount. That is why they are rich in the first place and how they stay that way. Sorry you need to go through the ranks b4 you become my GM but best of luck. (I just re read what I wrote and I sound like I am RW, wouldn't be funny if RW was a poster on here and we didn't know it, LOL )
  6. Fixed that SD needs some other than Spiorols he didn't look good yesterday why add GBs 3rd ? I would even go to our 2nd if we needed too but why have GB's 3rd just don't get it. In any case unless Buddy was dropping a big hint yesterday that RW will open the purse at the qb club thing they won't give a big contract to a player this year because of the CBA ****.
  7. I would rather they got McNiel (is that his name ) from the Chargers for Lynch and a pick.
  8. Have a fun time enjoying the game while you are there. GB was pretty bad a few years ago and I think the Cheeseheads understand. Scream your lungs out and let the Bills know they have some supporters there.
  9. They show these games later and over and over here and I am watching it right now. The Jets QB is really having to execute a very conservative gameplan. The haven't had a 3rd down conversion the whole game, so far (it's the 4th quarter). They are not throwing the ball mid or deep but Jet receivers had some drops too. The Ravens D looks mad good. If they can get a bit more consistency out of Flacco and their running game, watch out they will go deep into the playoffs. The Jets D looks very good too (except their 2 other CBs). Cromaterti or how ever you spell his name (except for his INT) is really bad 2 pass interference calls because he hooks on like crazy. Penalties killed the D output for the Jets. Bolden looks like Lofton. Whatshisname looks like a $800,000 guy (I don't see what's the big deal, sorry) I see why they cut him moneywise.
  10. I love reading this board, you got to be kidding. He forgot more about football than 50 posters on this board combined and you want US run the team? Unbilleivable You don't read the board if you think that.
  11. Shot gun , shot gun , shot my self in the foot gun, shot myself in the foot gun I really want Trent to work out of the pro set 85=90% of the time.
  12. Rules and Guidelines The do's and don'ts of the TBD message boards... Hard Rules. Posts that contain the following material will not be tolerated and will be removed promptly (and depending on the nature of the offense - your ISP may be notified of these violations): Do NOT post: Personal "crusades" (posting the same information/opinion in an excessively repetitive manner. We want posters to share opinions not bludgeon others to death with them.)
  13. His relationship with Lou was !@#$ed up too. That said up to now he has kept the Bills in my hometown, now if he can just fend off death until they do win a SB.
  14. The Ravens are a good team, the jets I hate to say it are dominate on D and the offensive line is very good. I am dreading them and the Ravens this year. I hope we can get it together a bit by the bye week.
  15. I guess the only answer is that this team is/was very damaged and these things take time. Even the 91 year old is willing to give them that.
  16. The coach planned the game using the shot yourself in the foot gun, lets face it although it is supposed to be more protective of the QB, when your opponite stacks the box and 7 rush 5 or 6 because the know you are going to pass short. Well, the coach is not putting you in the best position to win. I am really quizzed why he went with this plan and wondering if he watched film from last season at all. It is funny because preseason we ran pro set and play action was something Trent seemed to have a grasp of. I know FJ is good but CJ needs touches but WTF, after the 2nd series, I knew we were in for a bad day. I really hoped he would of scraped the gameplan by 1/2 time but that wasn't the case either? And sure I blame Trent and the damn fool line but going shotgun and short plays directed at the outside was a big mistake. One that makes me point at the coach. I hope he learned from this game I really do.
  17. First you said that then you said this I am not sure why you say both things, so are you saying he should know his left tackle will blow his assignment? This
  18. Whatever, you want to win declare your self the winner, good move, you practice law or something? I agree to disagree with you and I am damn good at poker BTW.
  19. I love everyone put that on Trent when someone missed an assignment. He did point, and yeah in a 3/4 they might not of come. I am not making excuses for Trent by saying it he stunk it up for sure but that sack I don't think so.
  20. Good post, one issue that they have to fix. RUNNING the freaking shotgun and passing from it so freaking much! The gameplan needed to be changed or adjusted at halftime like the defensive one was. Run a pro set if you have Trent in there, I mean I understand the reason (giving him more time, in theory) but man he just looked uncomfortable and it wasn't working. He was running play action from the pro set in preseason and he looked good. Quick passes are fine and work with his strengths but they knew we were going to pass! I want all three RBs on the field sometimes too. I didn't like that we stayed with it and the only time it worked was at the end when the fins went prevent and we went no huddle. I thought he executed that well. The wildcat looked good and I thought it would have been creative to run it on first down at the one yard line after the punt. The main thing is we didn't get a lot of deception out of the gameplan and I put that on Chan, hope he realizes the mistake. Otherwise besides the O not executing well and us losing, there were some good things in the game. I really liked that Marshell, Brown and Williams were all held to less than 100 yards each. D. Florence was a force out there and a lot of the time he was the one covering Marshell, who didn't get YAC much at all. Mckelvin looked real good in the 2nd half too.
