  1. We do need a swing, based on what I saw last year and I would go as far to say that RT has to still be a question. But the guys maybe on the roster already. I did like the way Nix dealt with it by raiding PSs of other teams and picking up fairly high drafted players (very opportunistic, IMO). I think he has gone on record saying that they were still going to get another tackle, I believe they will. I hope they find another young guy who is big, can run block and is right for the team. I know that they went hard after Clabo for a reason and when it didn't pan out... well, there weren't any others that were worth it. IMO the philosophy they have regarding OL is unless it is a proven guy worth the $ don't over pay (lessons learned?). There are cuts still coming, FA really wasn't great for RT, old guys and oft injured. There is also the option of a trade but not for draft picks. This will still be a question for a while but I know they are planning and I am okay with it.
  2. over I see 6 wins as possible and more if we stay healthy enough. Maybe with the new unis and field we do even better
  3. I really like the guy and totally disagree. I sure if he is healthy is is pretty good, even when he isn't he is tough and plays through it. He was with George before too so..... he won't be cut. http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/videos/Top-10-Performances-Andra-Davis-vs-Jacksonville/84629cca-44d5-4e1f-95f1-f5630d1ea18a
  4. I love these threads, yea! way to go!

  6. ak is right I was just going to post the same
  7. I still want Boss and Miller! and I agree with everything Rockington wrote above. The only way I will change my view is when 1. we get a dome or 2. the team leaves for a warmer climate (actually in that case I don't care). Marv's Bills used the 2 TE set with a pass happy team and Chan could do it too. Plus look at what NE* did with it, we SHOULD to copy success, IMHO.
  8. Actually one of the better JS opinion pieces, he should have compared them to the Sabres though and it would have made more of an impact on how cheap RW appears to be lol. I do agree that the Bills need a swing or RT but they may find one yet. Clabo just used them and after him there wasn't anyone who is all that much worth the $ they will be trying to/did get. I am not at all convinced Harris is all that much better than Pears. I do have some faith Nix is still working on this. Let's see what happens by the end of camp and into preseason/ cut down days. It aint over yet.
  9. The Fins would do better with Orton. Chanting idiots are nothing new or news worthy really.
  10. Kicking tires is okay. What's the problem?
  11. wow amazing thread and only 6 posts in, I predict about 1 and a half to maybe 3 months tops. Welcome to the board and good bye 2.0 enjoy camp and the preseason, I am cutting you now.
  12. Optimistic yes, delusional not anymore. I have some faith they are building something good and have a plan but it is kind of early and this team has had some really bad history.... So I am an optimistic realist. Hope for the best, expect whatever happens and plan for the worst. It is the only way I have made it through 45 years of BB football thus far. A lot of people don't know the good times and have good team/owner envy, it is hard not to get bitter I guess. And we still need to make more moves before the season (said in a most optimistic and not bitter way).
  13. I can't go the right, I can only do the "move" from the left....
  14. um...... I don't mind it, it is okay but if they play football real good and somehow that helps the team in the big picture but I don't care about their faith. The whole Christianity thing is fine if you want that and don't push it on me.
  15. I expect we will use the 4/3 hybred thing and have a plan to have Carrinton and Williams rotate when they don't like last year. Honestly, if we can keep Kelsy out of the OLB spot he does play decent 4/3 end but has always had problems with contain, he does rack up hurries but never was a sacker. Don't know how that will work out with Dareus and if Moats moves outside. They have a lot of combinations they can and will use, god! I hope the Stash can help Edwards figure it out this year. I also think A.Davis and Edwards are good players that will do better things this year. I am excited about some of our starters this year but worry about injuries, we still don't have the kind of depth that we should. This stuff takes time.....
  16. It is a copy cat world and I sort of wish we were in on this trend
  17. Hey Pils Yeah D. Nelson has to be one of my favorites from last years rookie crop. Although I haven't seen the FO do enough this FA period I like that we are trying something anyway to improve. It isn't over yet and there are still waivers and I think they will continue to go at it through the season. I liked last years OL pick ups wish we were still working on that not so "on the cheap" but hey we got at least a couple of solid young back ups that way. I am trying to keep the faith about LBs TEs and OL, we will see how it goes. I do like having a young team of developing big guys. I worry about losing the first 8 or so games tho too.

  19. Since the people of GreenBay own the team and most the shareholders must be there, they are averaged into the whole somehow? Maybe it is how much money the people of the community are putting into a team? I am stumped too, 34$, oh I know, RW is cheap, that's the answer isn't it.
  20. Crumpler is still decent, albeit slow and yes he dropped a pass. But what do we have. A big question mark, a migraine waiting to happen and ....................................What can I say I always like Crumper, worth a flyer IMO. Also the Stroud experiment ended rather abruptly.
  21. They already made an offer, FA isn't over. There are still alot of players unsigned or not resigned at this point.
  22. Didn't know he was available, might be a younger option anyway.
