  1. A loss is beneficial but it would be nice if they stepped up a little bit.
  2. But at least they're doing something. I'm not an expert on the cap and how it works but I know that every year we are way under it. Its good to see that they may not be as conservative this year.
  3. Actually, and I hope this isn't true, but it may mean the opposite. They may stand pat and point to this as evidence that they "want to win". But if that's not the case, then I'm very happy with this signing. Not that much so if he gets hurt again it won't kill us.
  4. Sounds like they're tanking it to me. The Bills know that the Jets know that we want to run the ball to get Jackson his 1,000 yards, so it looks like they're making us one dimensional on purpose to lose.
  5. I guess his re signing would be exciting news, but if they use this as an excuse to not strengthen the LB core and just say, "Well, we did sign a former pro bowler," then this is just bad news.
  6. After 11 playoff-less years, of course I am.
  7. It would actually be better if the Jets weren't playing for anything. But I have to admit as a Jets hater, seeing them fall apart at the seams has been great and I hope we have a chance to knock them out of the playoffs week 17.
  8. Well the obvious one is to get it customized on buffalobills.com but I guess that wouldn't be too cheap. Not sure, haven't seen many around, might want to wait until the off season when some more are made.
  9. I didn't say that they were likeable guys, all I said was that they tend to keep their mouthes shut compared to other hated teams like the Jets or Dolphins. I do not like the patriots, but being a Bills fan from the NYC area and having to hear Jets fans and their annoying coach speak it makes them look much better to me.
  10. I have trouble hating the Patriots. They're not a loud mouth, cocky team like the Jets, they just go in, win, then get out. Belichick is hands down one of the best coaches of all time, probably top 3 and just finds ways to win with whatever he has around him. But most importantly their front office cares about winning as much as any other team in the NFL without being egotistical maniacs like Jerry Jone's Cowboys or Dan Synder's Redskins. They are what i wish the Bills were and any Bills fan that disagrees with this is insane because all they do is build winning teams.
  11. Troup knows that Bills fans will be reading this...smart man.
  12. This is just like those threads "we're going to win this week". If you're wrong, no one remembers. But if you're right, it's how'd you know that!
  13. So is this a good thing...?
  14. Well, if that's true, then that says a lot about of front office. They couldnt find any game film showing them that Jackson is a legitimate RB, or that Trent Edwards is not good enough for the NFL?
  15. But will Carolina draft another QB this year? Maybe, since they have the worst offense in the league. But that would be three 1-4 round picks spent on a QB in two years. I think we're going to have the first overall anyway, we have the toughest schedule out of all the bad teams.
  16. I'd give up a 2nd for Romo... as long as he's not our holder...
  17. That's very true. Parrish was saying in the offseason that this will be his comeback year, and he backed it up.
  18. Kyle Williams is extremely overrated. Yeah he had a good game today, and he'll have his moments like against KC, but there is no way he is the talent we need. Too often against good rushing teams the middle is wide open for the taking because he's not a 3-4 NT.
  19. Exactly what I was saying. A mixture of stupid mental and physical mistakes and heart breaking, freakish bounces always come together to create a new way for the Bills to lose.
  20. If he gets four or more sacks this year (in the last eight games), you need to do anything to get him back for next year, or else this defense is just treading water.
  21. What are the chances he stays in Buffalo after this year? Because watching the press conference it got me excited but then I remembered we only have him on contract for another few months. Thoughts?
  22. Binghamton is much closer to the New York market than Buffalo so there's no surprise there. Plus, there's Steeler fans every where. Why? Because they're always good.
  23. Then why hasn't this team "gaan" in the past 50 years? Oh, right because we make money! More than a lot of other teams do (Cleveland, Jacksonville, etc.), and the Bills aren't going any where because all that would do for the NFL is loose money.
  24. The NFL is all about making money. They've seen the failure this series has brought, and know that moving or creating more games in Toronto would only lose the great, money making fan base they already have in WNY. Won't happen, I don't understand the worry.
