  1. 1. Dareus A+ 2. Williams B 3. Sheppard A-
  2. Luke Stocker TE Tennessee
  3. Or those two end up being Brian Brohms and we look back on this day and thank Nix for not taking them.
  4. Not an attractive pick but i guess it was necessary. Trade up! get a pass rusher!
  5. How badly injured is he to fall out of the first round? is he worth our pick?
  6. yesssssss finally a beast on the defensive line! move him to a 3-4 DE and we're set.
  7. Troup and Williams will probably share a more even amount of playing time this year, depending on how Troup improves. But I'm more worried about the DE position. Who knows how Carrington will progress, Kelsay is a 3-4 OLB, Johnson is a career backup at best and Dawn Edwards is the closest thing we have to a starter. Draft Dareus and our problems will be solved.
  8. Taking a QB in the second round is fine with me but do not trade up. We need as many picks as we can get and give awaying spots just to ensure we get one second round level QB is not worth it.
  9. Sounds good to me. Not only do we address the QB of the future but we bolster our D Line tremendously. Although, I would like to see an OLB somewhere in the top three rounds, and I don't think we'll go a whoel draft without one.
  10. But you have to admit it is annoying when you're wearing a Bills throwback an someone says "Oh, hey! Go Giants!" And the you have to explain to them actually this is a Bills jersey...
  11. Newton for sure. He's not a pro ready pocket passer and just will not fit in with Buffalo.
  12. I guess, but who says Wilson is ranked higher? I've heard some questionable things about Wilson and his durability. If the Bills are high on Wilson then they should definitely take him, I just don't want them to reach on him.
  13. I almost like Quan Sturdivant more, he seems like a more reliable option and has somewhat similar size to Wilson. Might want to give him a look as well.
  14. Well it obviously depends on what we do in the first. But I like Wilson, I've heard critics say that hes not the most agile player and may even fall to the third round so I don't want us to reach. If we can get a stud in another position then lets wait and see whos left in the third for the ILBs.
  15. I'm on the Gabbert bandwagon. Jus by watching Grudens QB Camp you can tell this kid has the right attitude to play for the Bills. In addition to that, whatever quarterback we pick will have to learn under fitz, and I think that Gabbert would be much more willing and accepting of Fitzs advance compared to Newton. Not to mention Gabbert has a more identical skill set to Fitz than Newton does.
  16. I can't see any team taking a risk on him in the first round. Solely based on his skill set he is questionable, but add a horrible attitude and lack of dedication and a team would be crazy to draft him on Thursday night.
  17. But by hoping for Luck you're hoping for being the number one worst team in the league. I can't imagine a season worse than the one we just had and that would be the only way to get Luck. If you want a pocket passer that will fit Buffalo I think Gabbert should be the pick.
  18. So what you're saying is you hope to be the worst team in the NFL next year? I'm sorry but I'd rather not be that bad again. And Luck may be amazing in a few years but I honestly think that Gabbert can succeed under the leadership of Gailey and Fitzpatrick. If fitzy can throw for 3000 yards in this offense imagine what Gabbert can do. But I dont want to hear about luck until January 2nd 2012 when the season is over.
  19. Gabbert! he's grown on me a bit. Quick release, strong arm, perfect for Orchard Park in december. I'd rather go defense like every other fan that watched a Bills game last year but if we do go QB, then i want Gabbert.
  20. Worst game I've ever been to. Patriots really didn't have much to play for and they still beat us by 30
  21. doesn't seem to be very high on any corners, whether that applies to peterson i don't know but he seems more focused on the front seven.
  22. Gotta love fitz. If we take a QB early I hope Fitz's leadership and toughness gets passed to him.
  23. I've always liked those things, i have both Sabres (Miller, Gilbert) and like 10 or so baseball figures. Extremely detailed, worth every penny.
  24. That theyre both undersized! look at all the top OLB passrushers in the NFL and tell me how many weigh less than 250 lbs.! I understand what you're saying but you can't deny that theyre very similar players in terms of size and technique.
  25. I'm not denying that Miller does have potential to fill into a bigger frame but what I'm saying is with the third overall pick this guy on paper does not have the preferred size of a successful OLB. I'm also not saying he has the same work ethic of Maybin because that seems way to harsh. All I mean is it scares me a little to think that we may draft another first round OLB who does have similar characteristics of Maybin just three year removed from his draft.
