  1. I would consider paying stevie 7 million if he puts up the same numbers or better than he had last year. Those were pro bowl numbers.
  2. There isn't a Bills fan alive who won't admit that they were excited for Bledsoe. They took a risk on a previously good player and it backfired. At least they made the attempt, something they really haven't done since.
  3. What happened to all the people who said the Bills have potential to be 8-8? Just because Poz is gone we're all of a sudden 4 losses worse?!
  4. Don't think he or other guys of his caliber are out of the question. Why not just give him the contract we were going to give Poz?
  5. Yes, becuase they chose to not pay Poz 7 million a year to be an average 3-4 ILB means the Bills are tanking it an going for Luck...
  6. If that was the opinion of every free agent, the same teams would always be good.
  7. We're going to go all out to make sure we don't lose him too. Like I said in the shoutbox, he has ties with Nix and he definitely has enjoyed his time with the franchise. Hopefully that will keep him here.
  8. Fitz was named the starter months ago. He deserved it, the Bills weren't going to make any move to downplay that.
  9. Okay solid move that I saw coming. That fills one of many voids.
  10. La Canfora report on twitter the Bills and Jets are both bidding for Florence. This is a battle we cannot lose.
  11. Twitter campaign for Nick Barnett? Desperation at this point.
  12. Is it a possibility that since we couldn't sign Poz we'll make an effort to sign a bigger name than we planned on going after? Or is that just a pipe dream?
  13. That's not the point. The fact is we have no one else proven behind him and along with several reports that we plan on targeting the cheapest free agents available doesn't bode well at all.
  14. Oh because now that there's a cap floor all of a sudden he's going to care about winning? Yes, there may be a minimum number you can spend on players but that has nothing to do with coaching and front office talent. It starts from the top, going cheap off the field translates to on the field. Not to mention the fact we haven't signed a big named, successful free agent since Takeo Spikes.
  15. Sabres first month of offseason: Regher, Erhoff, Leino. Bills first day of offseason: let a starter walk, open another hole in our defense. Don't worry though, we'll sign the 15th best ILB available because he has a "high motor". There's no difference between the Nix regime and the all the failures post Polian. Won't mean anything till Ralph is out of the picture.
  16. Okay, so now we have an old, washed up Andra davis starting next to an unproven third round pick filling the interior defense. This is just a microcosm of this franchise, pathetic.
  17. How does that mean he won't resign? Just because he wants to make sure there are no better offers out there doesn't mean he will take one. He's now entering his prime, possibly even the team he ends his career with. Why shouldn't he evaluate his options instead of jumping the gun? I don't blame him whatsoever.
  18. I love watching a 30 second commercial for a 1:43 long video... anyway I think it's good thing for us not to be mentioned. Makes sense too, I've always said that our closeness to Toronto is actually a blessing; puts us in a good regional position.
  19. I have seen it by now. He's played well on awful teams. If he was currently leaving a team like the Steelers instead of the Bills I'm sure people like you would be begging the Bills to go after him.
  20. But there aren't any in this current free agent class that are better, or cheaper than Poz will be. We're not in jeopardy of going over the cap by any means, I don't see whats wrong with resigning a well liked, hard working player that does have a tremendous up side.
  21. Underrated may be a reach. But he won't require as much money as Zach Miller.
  22. Why the animosity towards Poz? We have tons of money to use up, so why are we freaking out about overpaying for him? He's one of our few consistent players and more importantly he plays at a position we're not particularly deep at. We need him back, end of question.
  23. We can't afford to let Poz go. Whitner walks, we have george wilson and bryan scott. Florence leaving would hurt, but alteast we still have mckelvin, williams and mcgee. But if we let Poz go, we'll have an old, mediocre andra davis and an unproven Kelvin Sheppard.
