I hear you. But for now we no for sure that the Bills have pursued a very good free agent for the time being. We don't know hoe serious the offer is, but the man himself has confirmed that we have made an effort. So although I am prepared for a let down, I am very excited for the thought of bringing a guy like Clabo in.

I don't mind this move. As long as it doesn't hurt our chances of getting Clabo or improving our front seven if totally fine with it. Obivously Nix/Gailey saw a dangerous playmaker that could fit the offense they will be running this year. And the way the rest of the AFC East looks this year, we're going to need as many weapons we can get.

Maybe they think he fits our hybrid, 3-4 and 4-3 defense. They might put him a 3-4 OLB and 4-3 DE depending on the opponent.

The bottom line is in order for a team like us to acquire a legitimate free agent we need to be a playoff team. That starts with drafting, but unfortunately Ralph has shown little interest in improving our scouting department over the past decade, leaving us below average and an unattractive destination for free agents.
