  1. Saw a bunch saying Clabo is a done deal for Buffalo. So it's not over till the Schefter sings.
  2. I doubt he'd just go ahead and sign with the Fins. If both sides are actually interested as reported by Buscaglia I would think he'd at least give us a visit tomorrow.
  3. I'm not one to buy into what other fans are saying, but I've heard a lot of negative reports surrounding Crowder on the field and off. I'd much rather go after Burnett, hopefully the San Diego connection will make it happen.
  4. Speaking of which, here's a pretty solid article on whose still out there. http://www.buffalosportsdaily.com/plenty-of-talent-left-in-fa-pool-at-key-positions-for-bills/comment-page-1/#comment-174895
  5. I'll just take any RT that's available who is better than anyone we have right now. Please give me some kind of deal soon.
  6. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Tampa Two (the 2009 defense) made for ball hawking safeties? That could be why, the move to the 3-4 hurt his numbers.
  7. I wouldn't call it optimism, I'd call it an attempt to get away from the Clabo talk and focus on players still out there for the taking.
  8. Okay, so we didn't sign our guy. Hard to do when you're competing against a Super Bowl contender. But we still have lots of cash to spend on several positions. I for one would like to see an effort made for Jared Gaither. I think he's equally as gifted, but may be cheaper due to past injuries and some alleged attitude problems. Another possibility is we go after another big guy like Zach Miller.Prove to your fan base that the Clabo pursuit was no fluke. maybe a bit of a pip dream, but one can hope. Or you can go after a boarder line pro bowler in Stephen Tulloch. Tackle machine, run stuffer, may be a little expensive but again, show your willingness to win. And of course there are other guys out there like Burnett, Barnett, Boss, Colombo and several other guys we wouldn't necessarily have to break the bank for. As disappointed as I am in regards to Clabo, there is still hope. Lot of money to be spent, and I for one am willing to move on from this mess.
  9. So now that we know it's not happening why don't we focus on guys we could target from here on out?
  10. JoeB_WGR talking bout Trueblood. Don't know much about him, seems like a major downgrade from Clabo but I don't know how many options we have left.
  11. It'll be interesting to see how we spend our money from here on out. Looks like Gaither is gone too, so there aren't any significantly big named RT's left.
  12. So, now that that's failed it's time to be realistic again and brace our selves for a bunch of low tier moves.
  13. Will someone legit like Schefter or La Canfora please just comment on this already? I know there may not be any news that we haven't heard yet but they literally have not said a word on the matter.
  14. Yeah, that's a potentially good sign. With All their draft picks to sign, and not much cap room to beginning with, the fact that they're back in the mix for Edwards might mean they've accepted the fact Clabo's gone.
  15. Yeah well, doesn't look as good as it did before, but it's not over yet.
  16. Yeah, hopefully it turns out like the Regher saga a few weeks ago. Get excited, hear that he's delaying the decision, write him off as a bum, then hear that it's going through and everyone rejoices.
  17. Would this be considered a bad sign? Or is it just that the Falcons have still not made an offer?
  18. Well, time to fuel up the Pegula jet, oh wait....
  19. Yes, in fact I have done just that.
  20. The longer this takes, the less confident I feel about this. If we truly offered him that much, but he still hasn't signed, we definitely have a problem.
  21. Is the 13 million a year confirmed?
  22. If enough people keep asking La Canfora/Schefter on twitter, I bet one of them will crack and give up what he knows.
  23. yes...for a pro bowl offensive lineman at a position we really need.
