  1. Too early to tell. This will be the year where we can finally address whether Spiller is a bust or not.
  2. I'm cool with it. The way he looked last year before his injury was eye opening to say the least. Gailey can salvage this guy and make him a serious threat in the slot. Just keep him healthy.
  3. Stevie is a perfect representation of our franchise. Good role model for the kids, selfless, cares about the city/team, not to mention he's good. Oh, and he was a swag overload.
  4. 1. The Bills win 8 games. 2. For the first time in a long time they're 4 Bills with 5+ sacks: Merriman (10) Dareus (9) Carrington (6) Edwards (5) 3. Despite an overall solid season, Fitz fails again to totally prove that he is the number one guy. Luck, Jones, Barkley talk will heat up around bowl season. 4. Scott Chandler proves to be a relatively solid starting TE in the NFL. 5. This is Mormans last year of effectiveness. 6. CJ Spiller will have 10 total TDs (maybe 4 receiving, 4 rushing and 2 ST). 7. Leodis McKelvin finally steps up to be a solid #2 CB. 8. Kelvin Sheppard won't see the field much, won't reach 20 tackles, (excluding ST tackles). 9. Stevie loosely follows up last season, 930 yards rec., 10 TDs. 10. Marcus Easley takes the #2 WR spot by at least the bye week, but doesn't accomplish all that much (maybe 450 yards rec., 30 rec., 4 TDs) 11. To follow up #9, WR becomes a top priority going into next year, along with OT, OLB and QB. 12. Williams and Stevie make pro bowl. Outisde the Bills: 1. Texans win the AFC South 2. Jets won't win more than 10 games. 3. Falcons gain top seed in the NFC again despite the Eagles crazy offseason. 4. Speaking of the Eagles, they win the East by a slim margin. They go 11-5, while the Cowboys go 10-6, Giants 9-7. 5. Bengals finish with the worst record, but Washington will land Luck with the second overall pick. Bengals have faith in Dalton, no one else does. Football world goes crazy, makes fun of the Bungals. 6. Browns and Lions both finish .500 or above, but miss the playoffs due to stacked divisions. 7. Chargers are the top seed in the AFC, but they lose in the Divisional round (typical Norv Turner) 8. Patriots vs. Ravens AFC championship game. 9. NFC championship Falcons vs. Eagles 10. Falcons vs. Ravens superbowl, Baltimore wins second title in their history, Flacco proves that he can win the big games.
  5. He looks like a back up. Little bit of a scatter arm but doesn't look overwhelmed or anything. Put it this way, if Fitz ever gets hurt, he'll do a better job as his back up than Brohm did last year.
  6. Shawne Nelson, although he may be more of a certainty at this point. I could see Wang getting cut, he's done very little to prove that he can even be a back up in this league.
  7. 1. Fitzpatrick 2. Thigpen 3. Smith 4. Jackson 5. Spiller 6. White 7. McIntyre 8. Johnson 9. Easley 10. Jones 11. Parrish 12. Nelson 13. Roosevelt 14. Chandler 15. Martin 16. Wilson 51. Scott 52. Byrd 53. Searcy PS Brown Aiken White Rodgers Huggins (if he's eligible, not sure) Jasper Eddins Pinalto
  8. Brady Peterson Leach Roddy White Larry Fitzgerald Andre Johnson Gates Long Mankins Pouncey Nicks Thomas (moved from LT) DE: Ngata NT:Wilfork DE: Peppers (I know he's not really a 3-4 DE, but just go with it). OLB: Mario Williams ILB: Willis ILB: Lewis OLB: Ware CB1: Asamugha CB2: Revis FS: Reed SS: Polamalu
  9. Hopefully you're good luck, being that you were at possibly the best Bills game ever.
  10. Your comment made me think of something: what if the 2012 draft turns out to be just like the 1983 draft, both the Bills and Dolphins land their franchise QB's and the rivalry is rekindled just like the early 1990's? How great would that be? Although, if Miami could swing and miss on another QB they drafted then that'd be great too.
  11. As much as I want the Bills to win this year (like I do every year), if there was ever a time to have a dismal season, like last year or worse, it would be 2011. Luck is arguably the most highly regarded college prospects of all time, if not number one, then he's definitely on the same level as Manning or Elway when they entered the draft. I like Jones and Barkley a lot and I think they have the potential to have great careers, but the thought of having a Peyton Manning-like Quarterback to run our offense for the next 15 years is very thought provoking.
  12. I honestly believe that there's no possible way that the Bills will finish with the worst record next year. Our only shot at getting him would be if we A. traded up or B. got the 2nd or 3rd overall pick and hope the teams in front of us pass for some odd reason. You all should pay more attention to guys like Landry Jones, Matt Barkley, Ryan Tannehill or Ryan Lindley, those are your more realistic options.
  13. Good, now work on Stevie's contract and ensure that we have at least one real WR here for the next couple years.
  14. I was in the same situation and one of the guys in front of my took a risk on Charles, giving me Foster all the way down at 5. But if charles is there, get him. Great two way back.
  15. Am I missing something? Where's Luck and Barkley?
  16. @KC L 17-14 OAK W 24-13 NE L 35-10 @CIN W 27-9 PHI L 31-17 @NYG L 28-24 WAS W 23-12 NYJ L 31-21 @DAL W 20-17 (in OT, why not?) @MIA W 21-7 @NYJ L 24-17 TEN W 31-20 @SD L 41-24 MIA W 28-15 DEN W 30-17 @NE L 31-13 8-8. My surprise win would be beating Dallas on the road, but besides that I feel it was pretty realistic.
  17. My prediction: 10 games, 9 sacks.
  18. Wait did you just compare LT to Aaron Maybin? So what you're saying is Maybin will become the best defensive player of all time? Yeah, I'd say you're drinking the pre season Kool-Aid.
  19. Murph_on_sports Murph on sports Bills Marcell Dareus not thought to be seriously injured. Details at WIVb.com: wivb.com/dpp/sports/bil… 1 minute ago
  20. We signed Nick Barnett. We got Kirk Morrison too. Now like the inside.
  21. The offense may not look all that great right now, but I feel that since it's the second year in the Gailey scheme and a season with no QB battles they players should know each other's tendencies by now. As long the offense can move the ball like they did last year, our new defense will keep us in more games than last year, thus giving us a better record than last year.
  22. You're all right, but tickets sales (or lack there of) always scares me a bit. I know that the chances of the Bills moving is not really a threat, but I never want to give people outside the organization a reason to think we're an option to move. So, blame me for the Bills' cheapness, but I'll pay for tickets/merchandise regardless.
  23. I'd do it, he had 9 TDs last year. Low risk, high reward.
  24. I totally understand, I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't looking into all the best QB/LB/OT in next year's draft. But I also feel that it needs to be limited this time of year, focus on this season and enjoy the ride.
  25. Can we start the f*ing season before we start talking about the draft?! Yes, because we struggled in one pre season game let's start the doom and gloom talk as if we were 0-8 again. Cut the draft talk until we know we'll suck this season, then I'm all for the Luck, Jones, Barkley and Lindley talk. GO 2011 Bills
