Once I heard it was a cover version of a popular song I immediately turned it off. Get original. The Jambrones may not be the hottest group out there but at least they come up with their own stuff.

As long as he doesn't come to Buffalo. I'll take Smith, I'll take Rivers but I want nothing to do with Vick.

Nix changing his mind on Gailey?
bills1960 replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can live with Nix. His biggest mistake that has plagued him during his time here is making Fitzpatrick the man which basically killed two seasons; however his drafting (at least his draft strategies) have improved. He showed that he'll do what's necessary to win (ala Mario, Anderson) and once he has a new QB I'm willing to give him another look. Gailey on the other hand is totally incompetent and has to go. I'll also judge Nix on who he picks to replace him, better not be anyone over the age of 60. -
Texanites vs Cheatriots - Game thread
bills1960 replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As a younger Bills fan just entering adulthood, the Patriots are just this ridiculous winning machine. I can't recall a single year when they weren't the cream of the crop. It's like watching the same movie every year of my life: Bills miss the playoffs, Patriots are waltzing their way into the post season. Every year of my life. -
Per ESPN Text, Gailey says CJ to get 60% snaps FJ 40%

How does that game yesterday make you jump to a conclusion like that?! If anything Freddy's workload should be deducted after yesterday! I love Fred but he's lost that step as all RB's his age do. Gailey is just lost right now. -
So it's obvious this organization can't compete...

The idea of "rebuilding" is BS. All we need to do is make a wise and well informed coaching hire this offseason and we could be back in contention by next season. Look at Tampa and Miami, two teams who were dismal last season and already they're back to being respectable and then some. -
JJ Watt vs Marcell Dareus
bills1960 replied to Jim in Anchorage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True Dareus will probably never be the player JJ is but you can do this kind of thing in retrospect in thousands of situations. -
How long did it take you to type this? boo

If they come out flat, regardless of the outcome (win or lose) Chan should be let go. I think the most crucial thing tonight is for the Bills to start things off strongly. Get a significant lead so we're the ones trying to control the clock rather than having Fitzy try to bail us out again (and mostly likely fail as per usual). Put the game in the hands of CJ Spiller in the second half, not Fitzy. The only way you can do that is if you have a solid lead.

Spiller will go nuts fitzy will play smart football Mario: 5 sacks

They're Using Spiller Correctly...

I'm typically somewhat of a realistic fan but I have a strange sense of optimism from here on out. It's not warranted, and it's not based on yesterday's game. I've been saying all year that the Bills will be in every game and have a tremendous chance to win if you can get CJ the ball 25+ times in a game. I honestly believe he has the capability to be a top 5 offensive threat in this league. Just getting bodies on him isn't enough for opposing defenses because he's so darn fast. Get him in open space and it's a win 9 times out of 10. -
My man is Greg Roman, OC from the 49ers. He was able to take an offense similar to ours (mediocre QB, good RB, decent O-Line) and make it one of the more efficient offenses in the league. He'll bring in the type of run based offense we're built for. We'd have to go out and hire a legitimate and proven DC as well but he's the kind of offensive mastermind we need.

Wouldn't this be nice.....GBN 2013 Draft projection
bills1960 replied to Buffalo Mike1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Te'o is the answer. He plays like his life depends on it, not to mention he's perfectly build for mike linebacker. Take a strong armed and physically gifted QB in the second round and have him develop mentally under Fitz. -
Speculation: Tim Tebow could be traded, Bills mentioned
bills1960 replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That would be the last and final slap to our faces that would send many people here overboard. -
These are the BUFFALO BILLS. Not the Hamilton Bills or the Niagara Falls Bills. THE BUFFALO BILLS. The Jets and Giants play in the Meadowlands because NJ is NYC's suburbs just as Orchard Park is to Buffalo. Canada is not Buffalo. Niagara Falls is not Buffalo. Buffalo as a city does not benefit in either of those ideas, and shouldn't Buffalo be the city that gets awarded for keeping the Bills in WNY for so long? Downtown Buffalo or bust.
-
Building it in Niagara Falls would get you no where and the traffic would be nuts. Downtown is the way to go for sure, hope it pulls through. The retractable roof could give you so many options. NCAA tournaments, bowl games, heck the Super Bowl??? MInnesota and Detroit have hosted it, why not? I think what it really has going for it is the fervor among people who have wanted the outer harbor to be developed. It's time that those people wake up and realize that children's museums and skating rinks won't draw the kind of money that a full fledged NFL stadium will. Imagine the economic impact it would have on that part of the city! People would buy up empty industrial lots and turn them into parking lots for the stadium (may not be the most enticing idea ever but hey, at least there's money being made). With the arena and the stadium only a couple blocks away the area between would be crawling with people wanting to open bars and merchandise shops. In the long run the stadium could help both the Bills and the outer harbor.

Who will be the Bills QB next year
bills1960 replied to THE GASH STATION's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Bills will have a draft pick anywhere between 10-20 and the past few drafts have shown if there are 2 or 3 legitimate QB's teams will trade up (just not us). We'll take a guy in the second with a rocket arm and hope that he can develop mentally behind Fitzy. -
Potter is warring on me. He can't even consistently kick the ball out of the end zone in a dome, who's to say he can do it in 60 mph winds in the Ralph later in the season?

Andy Reid as Bills next head coach?
bills1960 replied to superbills315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just feel like with a guy that has been in one place for so long, he'll want to take at least a year off before he changes scenery. I'd love the move, he'd fit our team well, but I can't see him just relocating that quickly. -
