  1. Not every off season is going to be like last year. There are other guys out there. Patience.
  2. We are in desperate need of LBs but when compared the risk/reward ratio is better for Ogletree than Jones.
  3. Don't freak out about the money until we know how it'll be distributed throughout the 4 years.
  4. Great! The best part about the signing is that even if we don't get the type of production we hope to get from him as a nickel corner in Pettine's system, at least we're getting back arguably the best return man in the league.
  5. Well being that we have two defensive ends left on the roster (excluding him and Carrington who's a 43 DT) I don't see why a guy as good as a pass rusher as him wouldnt be needed.
  6. Looking forward to next year's "32 you'd like at 32"
  7. Corrderrelle Patterson- My number one guy Dion Jordan- will probably be gone but if not... Eric Fisher- Same goes for him Dee Milliner- Corner is not what we as fans what to see but let's not act like we don't need another Geno Smith- Not a fan but if he is truly the best QB on the board Alec Ogletree- would be a reach but I think his talent outweighs his off the field riskiness Chance Warmack- Don't see the point of letting Levitre go just to replace him in the draft but Warmack is pretty darn good. Ziggy Ansah- Could be the next Aldon Smith.
  8. It sucks when non Bills fans bring up the whole "blame God" tweet. That's so not him. He's such a class act. While he is flashy and likes to celebrate, he does it all for the fans and for the fun of it and still maintains a high amount of respect for his opponents. I'd say one of the best, if not the best, late round pick in franchise history.
  9. I'm not joining the "let's sign him" bandwagon. He's a product of being in a good system, IMO.
  10. Why would AZ choose to take another USC QB (not that I believe that that means Barkley is as bad as Leinart, but from a PR standpoint) over the consensus best QB in the draft? If anything we take Barkley because they took Smith.
  11. Tell me how this team will be any better if they let Levitre go and take either an OT or Chance Warmack in the first round? We all watched the games last year!!! Was it the offensive line's fault we lost 10 games last year? Heck no, in fact I'd say they're the reason we even won 6! Pay Levitre his deserved money, keep Glenn on the left side and Hairston or Pears on the right and address some positions we actually need to get better. Honestly, I'd rather take another corner with the 8th overall pick! I know thats blasphemy to say on this board but you can't tell me our secondary is as far along as our offensive line is. To me, letting him walk and drafting an offensive lineman is just treading the waters of mediocracy.
  12. He'll be looking for money that the Packers, and assuredly we will not be willing to give him.
  13. How about he lobbies for his own teammate: Andy Levitre?
  14. I'd be more comfortable taking Patterson if we were to trade down a bit which never happens. I too like Bray, he does worry me about with his attitude problems and I didnt get to watch a whole lot of his games but can anyone speak to his mobility/pocket presence or lack there of?
  15. No no no no no no. He's everything I hate about the Jets: loud mouthed and overrated. He can never back up his talk, i don't know how anyone could with the way he trash talks. He doesn't emulate Bills football to me from a character stand point (sorry to pull a Jauron on you). I have no patience for guys like him and obviously the Bills don't either. If Scott were 5 years younger and 2x better than he is then maybe we could put that behind us but not now. He'd be a pricey liability. Pettine do not even think about convincing Buddy, he's old and gullible.
  16. Tag Levitre resign Byrd, or tag Byrd resign Levitre. Both deserve to be paid in the top five of their positions, so its actually easier on us. Although guards are mixed in with tackles for the tag so it might be in their best interest to try to resign him straight up.
  17. Why not Danny Amendola? I know people are going to accuse me of wanting my own Wes Welker but that's not all it is. Firstly, we won't have to break the bank for him like we would for a Wallace or a Bowe being that he's not on their level and he's had a bad run with injuries; but when this guy is healthy not only is he quick but he catches everything. Finally we could have a slot receiver that can get open AND catch the ball.
  18. Well assuming he'll be at the combine that's where we'll get to break him down mentally and see what kind of a person he is.
  19. This is very disappointing. I really like this guy as a prospect, he's got the skill set of a modern day linebacker. Great coverage abilities, sideline to sideline speed. Hopefully this doesn't speak too much to his character and it was just one dumb mistake but something tells me it's not.
  20. I'll take Laron thank you very much.
  21. I really want nothing to do with Jones anyway, dropped some big time passes this past year. He has no room to improve, just doesn't have either the size or speed to do so. Moving on, let's try our luck in the draft again or go after an Amendola, Bowe or Jennings (all of which expect the first would be pipe dreams but regardless).
  22. If this is true it speaks to what a class act this guy is. He knows he's not the future but he's willing to take less money just to stick around, compete a little, and teach a youngster while he's at it. Awesome, will always love fitz. His jersey, for those of you who bought one, will not be a waste.
  23. 365 DAYS FROM NOW! METLIFE STADIUM (just down the road from me) OUR BILLS WILL BE HOISTING THE LOMBARDI! LET'S DO IT!
