Terry Bradshaw at Dick's Sporting Goods (a long time ago) and unfortunately did nothing to make me think he wasn't an cocky, arrogant prick, but then he was there to shoot a commercial and didn't spend that much time with the "fans".
...that the Bills will trade down in the first round because they have too many holes to fill and need additional picks....but this cab driver is still recovering from injuries received in a fight with a hockey player over twenty cents...so this may just be pure speculation.
On a serious note: It is hard to billieve that "Boomer" - Chris Berman has been working NFL draft days on ESPN for 30 years and just signed a new contract extension.
It is nice to see the Swami return because - "No One Circles the Wagons Like the Buffalo Bills."
The Bills are getting younger through the draft and the Jets and Pats are turning into retirement homes. Jason Taylor is a fraction of what he used to be- third down player or not...and the same goes for Holt.
Rodger Goodell's Personal conduct policy has a lower burden of proof (than say a court of law). While there were no charges filed, I suspect that BR will be required to go into rehab to correct this pattern of behavior and will be reformed before the start of training camp and won't missed any regular season games (...well maybe one or two). He will probably face probation and some sort of community service also.
Meanwhile the company that hired BR to promote their beef jerky has pulled the plug on him. Must be no one wants to think of Big Ben's slim stick after "falling short" of the company's standards.
Trading down is the safest way to not overspend on high first round picks that do not make an impact (like many of the Bill's top picks in the last 10 years - see partial list below), but the biggest thing will be what is left at number nine for the positions the Bills have targeted and let's hope that past performance is not an indication on what will happen this year.
None of these players were able to step right in and contribute or make an impact in the way that you would like to see your 1st rounder perform:
2000 Erik Flowers
2002 Mike Williams
2004 J.P. Losman
2006 John McCargo
2009 Aaron Maybin
