  1. Losman has improved more than edwards lately. However, both of them are better than Derek Anderson, who now has two left arms, despite playing one of the better seasons I have seen in a few years in 2007.
  2. We need to put more beef in on obvious running downs.
  3. Maybin is weak, doesnt have any moves, is much too raw, and doesnt have his head in the game even for a rookie. Even as a linebacker he doesnt play with a lot of leverage. Maybe he can play safety.
  4. He looks surprised to see the ball coming his way.
  5. I agree with you especially on the injuries. When you go half speed, you get hurt. It hurts more to get hit than to pop someone. An undersized defense is more vulnerable to injuries. Teams are lining up two tight ends and a fullback in front of our safeties and safety size linebackers, and we suffer the inevitable result.
  6. Coaches daughters are one thing, but the ministers daughter is always the best lay in town. Its cliche, but true.
  7. I grew up a Cleveland fan and played football in Ohio, but even I dont care much for the new Browns. I like to see good, fundamental football. So I am almost not a fan of the NFL anymore.
  8. I second !@#$ing that piece of **** Goodell. He hasnt done anything good for the game.
  9. Very true. This is just part of my crusade against NFL refs.
  10. The guy probably cant take a crap without help. It is too bad he couldnt find someone he could trust to look after his interests years ago, when he knew his health could be an issue in the future.
  11. The illegal man downfield penalty on a punt was bunk. The rule states that players (excepting the gunners) may not advance upfield until the ball has been kicked, with a one yard cushion, but it is NEVER called that way. Coaches tell you to do a token two-step to block and then go get it. The increasingly complex NFL rulebook is a recipe for selective enforcement, and enables bias and corruption.
  12. We dont use slants, pick plays, screens, draws, shovel passes, sprintouts, wr or tight ends screens, pitch out passes, running back circles, delays, Spread type of misdirection plays, or any other type of plays that get the ball quickly to players and avoid the rush. We did do a playaction pass that looks like our stretch running play. Edwards fakes a handoff right, then wheels around and hits a streaking player on the backside of the play. The problem here is that it takes a long time to develop and requires edwards to make a quick decision and a long throw. We ran it five times, and completed a couple, but it was open all day.
  13. Last years san francisco game was when I stopped caring.
  14. He may be alluding to the amount of front office control and its ineptitude.
  15. From my seat close to the rail of the upper deck at the 50 yard line, I can assure you players were open, that edwards often had time, stared them down, and didnt pull the trigger.
  16. Clevelands tackle moved a little and set schobel and buggs off. It wasnt enough to call, apparently. Eight on the wonderlic test is considered literate. I understand roscoe wondered if he should lick it.
  17. I think this was one of Lynchs best games, but he just doesnt move the chains like freddy. There isnt any doubt about it at this point.
  18. To erase the shame of previous bills losses, perhaps we could adapt a completely exotic uniform. I think if we started anew with a similar name, maybe the buffalo Jills, and had new uniforms, like the pink ones I saw some attractive girls at the game wearing, the players would feel more confident.
  19. My evaluation tool for the bills is whether a high school player could be expected to make the play or not. Edwards is playing on a high school level. So is Lynch, Kelsay/Denney, our tackles, and the linebackers excepting Ellison.
