Maybin is probably 230. After seeing him at practice next to other guys who are listed at 240 or 250, maybin looked much smaller. He is much smaller than Batten. He has small shoulders and narrow hips. He is very lean and chiseled. Maybin will not be a powerful linebacker. He has speed, and may have range, and is a good tackler, but holding up at the point of attack will be a problem for him.

Lynch is great when you give him an obvious hole to run through. When he gets going, he is tough to bring down. he is a good open field runner too, but he has trouble finding the hole sometimes. Jauron ran him on the stretch play again and again, and it was a misuse of his talents, because he doesnt have great vision. I was a running back. Some plays are standard, and Lynch doesnt seem to understand the blocking schemes and follow his blockers. I wonder if he even listens to the playcall sometimes. Jackson does not suffer from that problem.

Meredith got abused last year at right tackle. I dunno if he will fare better at left.

Um Billsphan, the Ravens played a more flexible scheme where Dwan Edwards lined up where a 3-4 player would and had similar responsibilities. It includes the 4-3 and 3-4. I am not going to miss a preseason snap. I dont think the depth chart will be settled at any time during the year, as we play our bench and players learn and develop. Its going to be awesome.

Gentlemen, I know the guy personally, and I can say that his wish is to live in Texas with his family. Playing for a southern team makes that more feasible. He has decided his wife and three children should stay in the same place all year long. He has not categorically ruled out playing for Buffalo, although he was strongly leaning toward retirement as of this winter, when he sold his house and went back to Texas. I cannot really provide anymore information than what is publicly known about him out of respect for the man.
