Josh Allen Dethroned(Micah Hyde Softball Home Run Derby)
HardyBoy replied to Warcodered's topic in The Stadium Wall
Haha, because of the back...check out what Kincaid looks like blocking with his back injury in the PAC 12 champ game this past year compared with his other blocking film for someone suddenly having stiff feet. -
Should Beane have made the trades that he did NOT make?
HardyBoy replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Absolutely, but at the same time I'm sure they establish a draft value chart in advance have the operational maturity to stick to it to avoid making mistakes, or more so allowing potentially lame duck gms to burn the future to try and win now...in conference trades would require higher value assets than out of conference trades to score the same on that value chart I would think. On the flip side though, if you're close to a super bowl, that chart probably helps you keep from going all in for a superbowl and screwing your future...as well as it worked out for the rams, the odds of that going well were really low, and they had to have a bunch of highly unlikely events happen to beat Tampa Bay to even have a chance to win a super bowl... the rams kind of objectively screwed up big time, it just happened to work. -

That's what I figured...I've pulled my lower back plenty (happens more often and easily...if I could store time in a bottle I guess)...the idea of squating with a pulled lower back is even more something I feel would be tough than turning side to side...being 6'9" or whatever and having to get low, that would be tough. This is phenomenal news that he is able to do that motion to the point he's hitting home runs. -

This is great news just because of Brown's back right? Gotta think swinging a bat with active disc issues would not be easy or comfortable, right? Genuine question, I haven't had that type of injury. -

Broncos might have wanted more if they were trading Miller in conference, though they weren't really in the running that year and it was a theoretical rental... just something to think about though in terms of compensation. -

Look at getting rabbit ears for that (I'm being serious, I have them). Obviously depends on where you live, but over the air signal is in HD for the network channels. Then you just need to figure out how to get espn for mnf if applicable. Obviously you need to be in range of a signal.

There's a difference between reading old stuff and letting people who weren't engaged in the previous thread a chance to connect and have a discussion on it from scratch. I say let the thread live till it gets near the bottom of the first page and then merge with the old thread. Kind of like that South Park episode with the "Simpsons did it"

The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
HardyBoy replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
You're a nut... -
I saw Harty lined up in the backfield on some plays...Davis, two of: (Hines, Cook, Shakir & Harty depending on the game situation), Knox and tight end 2... go no huddle out of that every fourth drive. Not to make this a Harty post, but Diggs, Harty, Shakir in stacked trips reading coverage on who goes deep middle short with two of Cook, Hines and Knox staying in to block, with the other being the immediate hot route depending on where the pressure is coming from...

I support this post.

Luke didn't have to face Vader to become a Jedi, he had to face himself and the fear that he might behind Vader if he didn't learn to stay calm and within himself and follow his process, while looking for opportunities to self reflect and continue improving... basically that's my interpretation...external pressures are what would lead to the dark side basically.

Darren Waller Traded Due Wedding Details Leaked
HardyBoy replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall
He might not have had a chance to tell all his family yet, or there was family not invited and them finding out before while they can still guilt him into going. -
I linked to the music video of the song, but it was a bit more risque for the board than I was expecting, so I edited that piece out.

Wait, so to be clear, this thread isn't about a Prince song?

Daniel Jones wants more than $45M per year on new deal
HardyBoy replied to billsbackto81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was that because of physical deficiencies or he was getting beat scheme wise because better defenses scheme better? He already made a huge leap it sounds like scheme wise under dabol. -
Potential Number 1 pick Jalen Carter Arrest Warrant
HardyBoy replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
So many people glorifying incredibly stupid and irresponsible decisions in a thread on a topic where someone died doing the same reckless behavior... what in the literal *****?! Not talking about people saying I did that, it was dumb, glad nothing happened. I'm talking about saying it was the most glorious thing you've ever done... there are plenty of people on this board under 25, this is a learning opportunity. Also, how did everyone in here react when Oliver was wrongfully arrested? Everyone have the same response that is glorifying this now? I'm not pearl clutching either, and I'm no saint myself, but this is gross. -
Bills Mafia won something this year. Highest blood alcohol level
HardyBoy replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Absolutely, well said and thank you for taking the time to write it out. Yeah, this is just a joke study, but it also might not be as terrible as you might initially think. I read later in the thread this is actually a portable bac reader that ties to an app. You definitely have a selection bias because people who have a portable bac reader are probably people who drink and not just that, buy drink enough that they are worried about being over the limit. But that's the case for all teams. Clearly calling it representative of the entire fan base is silly and never was going to be true, but if they had their users labeled by favorite team, you might at least have a fairly consistent data set across teams in terms of selection criteria, kind of. So, potentially they could say, of the people we had data on through our app, bills fans had the highest bac and therefore bills fans are the drunkest. Except then you throw in access to public transportation, which throws a wrinkle, since when I lived in Boston I didn't even own a car most of the time, so would not have had that bac reader, but I definitely was over the limit on game days a ton...lol, maybe it's a study on the least responsible responsible drinkers? -

Yes, that's exactly what a representative sample study is! Obviously, I doubt this "study" was stringent enough in their sampling method, but go watch a YouTube video on "representative sampling"
