  1. Ross Tucker should run our front office, - because they thought LG warranted a $50 mil free agent just 2 years ago. I guess the difficulty of the position changed in the off season.
  2. but it's OK when a nose tackle from Brady's team dives into the Bills QB knee on purpose
  3. Moving up the draft would greatly help the Bills against other teams. we do no scouting , other than reading Mel Kiper and whatever Modrak gets sent to his house in Jacksonville - so other teams could make stupid picks like the Bills make since they won;t have as much time to prepare. this would be brilliant.
  4. A QB that is smart enough to know that he's in big trouble with an OL that can't pass block so that question mark at C, that gaping hole at LG, that slug like RT that can't handle speed rushers and the uncertainty and distraction at LT would probably put the fear of God in most intelligent QBs not to mention the high possibility of being throw under the bus by TO for not getting him the ball when lying flat on his back. other than that, this is a dream job for any pea-brained QB - JP is just drooling to be re-signed
  5. make that 4-5 years and you will be right on
  6. Obviously you did not follow the Broncos in 2008. As I said, he missed 3 games outright in 2008- but he was a game time decision in almost all of them and was playing hurt. IF the Bills are going to trade resosurces and then overpay - they better get a healthy player who will be on field. they should use the draft pick on Ingram and get a superior athlete
  7. Scheffler will never reach his potential because he is always hurt. Even when he is able to play, he plays hurt and far below his skill level. find some healthy players to overpay.
  8. he should call up Brady Quinn and see how playing hardball with the Raiders worked out for him and the #1 overall pick. he got nosebleeds and severe internal bleeding from the free fall associated with dropping from #1 to #22.
  9. that did not stop them from cutting Dockery and creating a gaping hole with no replacement in sight keeping him on the team has nothing to do with other available options
  10. he would be stupid to not be urine tested - since there is no urine test to scan for HGH. The only threat would be a blood test.
  11. The NFL does not test for HGH. he's got a high tech chemist (I mean trainer) working on making him bigger just pass on a strong safety trying to play DE
  12. So where is your proof about Ingram a scout report that shows Ingram as INJURED at that point, no kidding Ingram wasn;'t going to start - he tore up his knee in pre-season nice try though
  13. Ingram was the clear starter and regarded as a true down the field playmaker not sure why you have to make up stuff about him sitting behind Hernandez Ingram would be a much better option for the Bills need to stretch the field over the super slow Pettigrew
  14. This year the top LTs will be gone by the time the Bills pick. LAST year was the year to take Clady or even Branden Albert to fortify the OL and provide some flexibility.
  15. nonsense The Bills categorically refused to give him a new deal last year. IF he came in as the good trooper, he still would not have even the low ball offer the Bills have on the table. They would be waiting for him to show up at camp to insult him. of course the Bills do not have to give him a new deal. that would be standard practice for an incompetent front office- to piss off and run out of town elite players because they can save a few bucks because his replacement will be paid a lot less (also a lot less talented) they would have been able to sign him last year for $8 mil if they had been proactive. the price keeps going up, the longer they wait
  16. you are delusional they made one desparation signing - which will be totally negated by their actions regarding the OL they have a backup to play C- so no upgrade there they have no one to play LG - huge hole there they created voluntarily with no replacement plan in place. This HUGE mistake alone cancels out anything positive you think they have done in FA so far. they are still low-balling Peters - so continued distractions there no improvement to a weak, undersized and underproductive front 7 and the same buffoons running the draft who have successfully butchered most of their picks in the last decade. I guess you are correct - the Bills are pulling out all of the stops
  17. I'm fairly certain Brandon told Peters in January that there would be no deal since he had 3 years left. that is why Peters chose to avoid all off-season activities.
  18. You would hope that a guy that weighs the same as some DBs would be able to beat an OT around the corner. too bad it won;t be pretty when the offense does not have to pass since they can run right over that DB sized DE.
  19. when the team tells you point blank they are not re-doing your deal, there is a pretty slim chance of them re-doing your deal even if you show up and play good soldier. If the Bills had actually been proactive and offered to extend Peters to reward him for his tremendous development from undrafted rookie to pro bowl LT, then maybe Peters would have been a bit more receptive and showed up in the off-season. but- the bills know best they have the contract leverage - so Brandon wants to send a message. He could have sent a much stronger message by drafting Clady last year- thus being able to play his little game of hard ball.
  20. you are correct - it is a much wiser investment to spend that kind of money on high motor white DL guys who can't tackle or rush the passer
  21. he is the only option the Bills have so I guess he has value to the Bills
  22. maybe he's elite because some team, the favorite being Philly on this board, is willing to give up multiple picks including 2 1st rounders AND then sign Peters to the huge deal he wants. if there is any truth to the rumor that a team with a real scouting dept thinks a 2 time pro bowl LT is "elite", then I would tend to believe them over your expert assessment. just saying
  23. so Peters is in the prime of his career at 27 and due to get paid $3.5 mil you want to sign Pace, who is over 30 and been injured the last 3 years to $5 mil / yr (more than Peters) so we can have another overpaid underperforming player on the OL. just pay Peters as the elite OT that he is. The Bills will just waste whatever picks they get from a trade anyway.
  24. just pay Peters there is nobody in free agency that would be help more for the same amount of money if you spread it over several players, you are just getting several crappy players to fill roster spots - no impact players the Bills won't spend it anyway just more cash in Ralph's pocket
  25. all time flops have to do it based on performance on the field Carter blew out his knee -so he really did not have a chance to show if he sucked on the field. Ryan Leaf has to be considered based on what they gave up to draft him and where he was selected.
