the front office has no vision the answer at LT was in the 2008 draft when they should have taken a real LT prospect since they knew at the draft that Peters would be a contract problem. Clady or Albert would have given them the flexibility to play hardball with Peters - instead the Bills screwed themselves/

As a contrast to those eternal optimistic homers, here’s 2 fantasy sites which are not quite as high on the Bills OL. http://www.fftoolbox.com/football/article....=428&page=2 #31 Buffalo Bills Rush Yards Per Game Rank Yards Per Game Pass Protection Rank Sacks Allowed Pass vs Run % Projected Starters #14 115.1 #22 38 54 - 46 LT- Langston Walker LG- Kirk Chambers C- Geoff Hangartner RG- Eric Wood RT- Brad Butler FB- Corey McIntyre Buffalo gave up 38 sacks last season and then dealt away Pro Bowl LT Jason Peters to Philadelphia in a pre-draft trade. Buffalo's offensive line is trending downwards, which could be bad news for fantasy stars RB Marshawn Lynch and WR Terrell Owens. Buffalo will be looking to rebuild its offensive line around its 1st round selection C Eric Wood out of Louisville. The bottom-line is that on paper Buffalo's offensive line appears to have taken a major step back from a season ago; fantasy owners should approach with caution. http://footballguys.com/free.php In their pre-season analysis, Footballguys.com gives the Bills OL an F and has them #32. See the rankings at pg 40 and the Bills write-up at pg 36. They will do an update in August.

That's a real nice fantasy. too bad Brandon told Peters in January of 2008 that under no circumstances would the Bills be re-doing his deal in 2008 since he had 3 years left. Peters played all of 2007 at an elite level - the Bills should have been willing to talk in 2008,not slam the door in Peters face

The RIGHT thing would have been to draft the rookies AND keep the ProBowl LT. they should have extended him last year before they created the mess they ended up with. Pretending Walker can play LT is questionable at best. on the defensive side, their front 7 still is lacking size and muscle and they did nothing to improve their inability to stop the run. they deserve the blame they get just by keeping Keith Ellison as their starting LB.

sounds like a great foundation to home school the young'uns

seeing that he does not have a D-1 scholarship at this point, no matter what his grades, is pretty indicative that he has no where near NFL caliber talent.
-
I would say the exact opposite The eletric company was a smash mouth OL that was built to run the ball. The Super Bowl OL was a finesse line that exploited defenses thru better conditioning. When they did not run the no huddle, they could not control the line of scrimmage consistently and struggled to move the ball.
-
more likely the coaches screwed up Trent by overcompensated in trying to protect him after his injury by drilling into him to get the ball out quickly - even if that meant dumping it off all the time. Trent looked good going down field when they were desperate and had no choice which indicates to me the coaches were the problem. it would be nice to get some NFL quality coaches to work with Trent before they screw him up beyond help.

Playing NE 1st game gives us best shot of beating them

who is Walker going to outrun?? -
wait a minute you are talking about accountability and responsibility you can't be blaming the kids and their parents for their decisions society and their peers made those kids go to those overpriced schools - (where they probably skipped most of their classes, partied alot and barely got a diploma) it is their god given right to bleed the system and then whine and B word about the impact. Deficit spending is the cornerstone of Obamanics - why can't students play the same game??

Can anyone recommend a good hardwood floor company

http://www.jmmccormick.com/index.htm this place has really good quality product not sure what you do for installation in Buffalo -
he was when he left the U and entered the NFL. not sure how long he continued in the NFL (if he stopped at all) - but sounds like he returned to his roots based on his divorce trial you never heard about LT being a coke head while he played either

Extending a coach with 1 winning season in his career who managed to go 2-8 after a 5-1 start and promoting a baseball marketing guy to run your football team supports your theory they "don't know how" maybe if they replaced the talent evaluators who overrate the talent and then overpay mediocre players, they would have a better product. but hey- we should just be happy to have a team
-
Quality coaching will make up for whatever talent you think they lack they still have an all-stud DL which has dominated the Bills this decade

it happens every time we play the Pats this year will be more problematic since Belicheat will have a full off-season to devote to defensing the Bills. -
which is why the Bills will never sniff a Super Bowl with Ralph in charge The fans are happy going to a party on Sundays- there is not enough passion about whether the product on the field is worth a damn. Ralph and Brandon know it which is why Dick is still the coach and Ellison is still starting at LB. don't pull your shoulder out of its socket patted yourself on the back

He's going to a great situation/ The Bills have a tremendous track record of teaching and coaching QBs to maximize their potential No one has been better with QBs than the Bills since 1995. -

game 1 will be our best shot to win unfortunately - the real outcome will be that Bellicheat will provide a blue print to exploit our offensive weaknesses for the next 15 games -
with such avid interest, you can expect more 7-9 seasons as there is no incentive to improve the product on the field. amazing how many tickets they sold based on signing a 36 year old WR Brandon sure does know his market

you are correct The result is a never ending dreary, grayness from October to May. Whenever it rains, it gets cloudy a week before and a week after. You don't really focus on this until you move away for a while and experience sun shine. It rains other places, but it is short term and then the sun comes. Hell, even when it is cloudy, it is brighter than in Buffalo.
