Big Ben - Pitt Listening to Offers
spartacus replied to filthymcnasty08's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
looks like Bills homers are sinking to new lows usually they don't fawn all over criminals until they have been acquired by the Bills but now they are willing to deify other team's trash before the trade -
Draft Luncheon (reading between the lines)
spartacus replied to loyalbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah - good thing the 2 morons, Nix and Modrak, that wasted our #12 pick on Maybin last year were canned. -
Big Ben isnt nearly the rapist we thought he was
spartacus replied to CarolinaBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it already has cost Ben a bundle thru his secret settlement why do you think she suddenly got amnesia about what happened -
Rapelisberger could still be suspended

or maybe she had no need to subject herself to a criminal trial since she got enough money as compensation for the sexual abuse inflicted by a self-important prima donna with his own muscle and cover-up team -
Rapelisberger could still be suspended
spartacus replied to mike oxhurtz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
he bought off the victim with an undisclosed settlement without her testimony, there was no way to get a conviction hard to believe people still defend this guy -
sounds like a plan waste the #9 on a another player that needs to change to a new position worked real well with Maybin- so do it again in 2010
-
Aren't we ideally suited for the 4-3 now?
spartacus replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
we are switching now because our crackerjack coaching staff knows best the 3-4 needs an overhaul of the entire front 7 so these guys get a 1-2 year honeymoon due to the need to "rebuild"the defense and attempt to salvage the Maybin pick -
by the time they are good in 3-4 years, the RB you wasted the #9 pick on will not be on the Bills, either his career will be over since the average life expectancy is only 3-4 years or the Bills will trade him for peanuts draft some big uglies who will be around for a long time
-
it's stupid to draft another RB in the first round at the expense of teh OL and front 7 because by the time you get around to building for the "long term", the RBs career in Buffalo will be over (see Travis Henry, Willis, Lynch, etc)
-
The Bills have been following your philosphy of drafting crappy players in the 1st round for the last decade. Can't get any less immediate production than Maybin in 2009 should be no concern that the Bills will suddenly become good from the draft choices made the talent evalautors at OBD However, to further hedge their bets that they will be in contention for a top QB in 2011, they have decided to change to a 3-4 which they are ill equiped to execute. This alone should keep them in the bottom of the league.

must have took some tips from Tebow on how to extend his windup

Who is going to be the starting RT
spartacus replied to billsfan89's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
very good post The only hope is that in over-estimating the OL and the ability to easily overhaul the defense, the Bills will remain a bottom feeder for 1 more year and leave them in a position next year to draft a real franchsie QB. Nobody likes the Tampa-2 , but it did what it was designed to do for Bills, which was to keep the score down by forcing long drives. A switch to a more aggressive defense will give up a more big plays and lead to more blow-outs because the offense will still be inept with stiffs playing the tackles. In addition, unless Jason Campbell is brought in, no QB on the roster or in the draft will be able to generate any consistent offense while running for their life behind this OL. Changing to the 3-4 forces them to take a nose tackle just to be able to run the defense instead of finding a starting LT. which is why Green will probably end up at LT siince no one else on the roster is capable. -
Who is going to be the starting RT
spartacus replied to billsfan89's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
for $3 mil / yr, Green will be starting at Left T as the Bills ignore that gaping hole one more year. Bills will be drafting defense early and often since they need to overhaul the entire front 7 to run the 3-4. they do not have a nose tackle anywhere on the roster and the LBs are too small - and they can never have enough DBs Chan will coach up the offense to less than mediocre -
even comes with a boatload of built in excuses for why he couldn't win

Allen Wilson - NO WAY the Bills take Tebow at #9
spartacus replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
what access? it seems they have no better access to OBD than posters on this board what's the last story that they broke before it was on ESPN or some national outlet? -
I'm so confused so are they an expansion team which will not win many games and be in position to draft a real QB next year or they a decent team right now that could really use help THIS year from the #9 pick in the draft but instead should take a huge risk on the overhyped Golden Domer who won't help a damn this year.

There are 5 positions on the offensive line
spartacus replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you must work for the Bills - completely lost on the skill sets needed by LT and RT to combat the players typically lining up across from them -- which has absolutely nothing to do with which hand the QB throws the football. most of the elite pass rushers play against the LT - so they will be the guys putting your QB (left handed or right handed) in the hospital if you have a scrub playing LT -
We need an elite LT and the Redskins need picks
spartacus replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Modrak has been here for 10 years with his staff of 6 scouts. some guys have new titles, but the guts of the talent evalaution team are still the same. In fact, Buddy was here last year wasting a top 10 pick on Maybin - keeping Bills tradition alive by ignoring the gaping hole at LT we will see how much things change -
How many starters out of this draft in rounds 2-7?
spartacus replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
should be a no brainer since the entire front 7 needs to be overhauled, they have no NFL caliber OTs on the roster and only 1 NFL quality WR. the players drafted could all suck and they still would start since there are so many holes. they just wouldn't make rosters of real NFL teams -
Steve Johnson loves the new playbook

good to see the local media getting some interviews with these guys that obviously are willing to discuss the Bills as evidenced by their twitter ramblings -
The Bills draft bar has been set pretty low
spartacus replied to LGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
what is not working is employing 6 scouts to evaluate all of the college talent and having a part-time guy manage these guys from his home 1500 miles away from OBD. and now Modrak reports to another work-at-home semi-retired guy living in Tennessee after these guys colloborated on picking that super-stud Maybin last year, don't expect the performance to improve much in 2010. maybe they can find a 220 lb guy to play LT - it sure worked for DE in 2009. -
you guys are completely wrong about Gailey. He evaluated the offense- which was completely putrid the last few years and probably concluded that: 1. OL is a joke and its one really solid guy had his knee mangled last year 2.the QB position is worse than the OL, 3. the WR & TE position is really thin Unfortunately, instead of stopping here and formulating a plan to draft or acquire some talent to fill these gaping holes, he then looked at the defense.\ He decided to immediately switch to a 3-4, which will require a complete overhaul of the front 7 which will require most the draft and free agent resources available in the off-season. We will see how the draft goes, but expect the defense to be addressed early and often and the OL to be ignored as has been the Bills standard practice for the last 15 years. who said Chan has not been busy has not been paying attention.

Wood and Levitre are the only 2 worthy of being NFL starters, and that was before Wood blew out his leg. Doubtful he comes back to full strength by opening game. don't worry, though, because Chan knows he can coach up the existing talent - so don't expect a high pick on an OT. Bell will again be the expected starter, due primarily to Karl Malone being his father and not anything proven on the football field.
