you do realize that Willis was drafted the same year as POZ. why is it that he can play at a Pro Bowl level in his 1st year, but our great white hope from linebacker U is still getting a free pass because he is essentially a rookie in year 2?
-
they do when you spend a 2nd and 3rd round pick on them. The reason the Bills are nosediving is that they have squandered their premium picks on average starters instead on on playmakers.
-
Patrick will always be a better LB. He is a playmaker and impact player. POZ is another guy who cost 2 premium draft picks.

I've lost all respect for Vic Carruci

why even have that play in for this game when JP can not execute it, never could because he has no touch on his passes. why not give him a pass play with a chance to work, like a quick slant why wasn't hardy the target since they wasted a 2nd round pick just for this situation. -

Since JP is so bad and this is well known, why didn't Dick bring in a real QB to back up Trent? -
I would take my chances with Russ Grimm. At least he could tell us if they were zone blocking or drive blocking.
-
why? the OC is supposed to put his players in position to succeed. JP has never been good at fade patterns because he has no touch on the ball. the play should never have been called- If Evans is in the game, he should be running a quick slant. IF they want to run the fade, it should have been to Hardy. Why is that such a hard concept to understand? Turk does not have a clue He should have pounded the ball on the ground

Wade is incompetent as a HC. He is a good DC but he has no clue as the head guy. He totally ignores special teams and is pretty lost with the offense. Cowboys are falling apart under his expert guidance.

people need to realize that Brandon came to the Bills directly from the Florida Marlins where he learned first hand how to consistently field a team significantly below the league average payroll. the Marlins are masters are dumping good players as soon as they become too expensive. The key to the Marlin success has been Larry Beinfest's uncanny ability to find young talent. Unfortunately, the bills do not have the NFL: equivalent of Larry Beinfest to implement Brandon's marlins gameplan.

Toronto is pretty pissed that their Bills are still playing 7 games away from their home in Toronto.

he sure looked like crap on kickoff returns today as well.

Who Do You Feel We Should Keep On Our Team?
spartacus replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the Bills need to draft OL and DL in the top 3 rounds which they should do every year to continue to build depth and quality -
new shiny QBs sell more tickets- which will be a big priority next year could happen that Bills pass on a super small CB for another QB same front office - expect the same nonsense
-
if the Bills are not going to be $20 mil under the cap on players, it seems insane to skimp on a few million n a top notch coaching staff. but then again, Ralph's prioirty in not about wins & losses

Is the decision to fire Jauron out of Wilson's hands?
spartacus replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
no - but he wasn't injury prone in college either. -
they will be soon enough- the front office knows a lot more than the fans
-
Anyone catch this about today about Jauron?
spartacus replied to drhockey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
no accountability is demanded from anyone in the organization regarding the football product. however, Ralph puts a much higher priority on selling tickets and generating revenue- at the expense of the football product Ra -
now if only you could get the Bills recognize their value - the playoffs may be in reach

stop with the blather about no communciations with the team. AS you state, teh Bills know more than they are saying. So how is it they know more but claim Peters has enclased himself in a vacuum? It seems highly probable that the coaches and medical staff have had contact with Peters and the only one not to talk directly to him is Brandon- and that is by design so he has plausible deniability. Jauron has probably done the same thing Linehan has done with Steven Jackson and kept in touch. The Bills just haven't volunteered that info to the fans because it does not help their story. and if no Bills coach has contaqcted Peters, then they would seem to be bordereing on the imcompetent to give their best player the complete silent treatment. they do have phones at One Bills Drive don't they?

My guess about who is a happy man today...

Hopefully the absence of QBs in line for Canton will allow Andre Reed, a real HOfer, to get in -
On second thought I am liking Peters strategy now
spartacus replied to Pyrite Gal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It seems the only people we know for sure that Peters has not spoken to are the media. Any other story about contact between Peters and the team (or lack thereof) has been spun by the Bills or its media outlet to put the Bills in the most positive light If the Bills do indeed have no idea about his recovery from injury, then why not? They couldn't check up on him? My guess is the coaches and medical staff know everything they need to knowq- but Brandon personally has not spoken to Peters so he can say with a stright face he can deny contact. Have there been any quote from any coach that he has been in contact with Peters since january? -
that pick in next year's draft will sure help alot in 2008 to help protect our QB

drafting a small DT to fit a very limited cover-2 defensive scheme would not have been the smart pick. Much more savvy would be to draft Ngata who is big enough and quick enough to play the nose and allow a team to play a 3-4 look as well as various 4-3 alignments, including the cover-2. As noted by the Bills, they havfe already changed how they will line up their DLs in their currrent version of the cover-2. Big impact interior defenders come around only once in a blue moon. The Bills have chosen to pass on Ngata as well as Vince Wilfork in favor of small skill players. Their run defense and pass rush has reflected as much.

not a problem well, as we have seen for the last 15 years, if you have a huge hole as your OL, you won;t genrate much offense and you won't have to worry about your skill players putting up any stats which will justify big contracts
