  1. Ya, who can forget the time he And the time he And what about the time he
  2. I guess I'm the small minority here, but I think FJ should still be the starter and get the bulk of the carries. Seeing what FJ did last year before he got hurt...I haven't seen a guy blend talent and desire like that in a Bills uniform in a very long time. I think once he gets back to being healthy, he'll get back to that level. I love what CJ brings to the table but I just don't think he can keep up this pace. He will get stopped for losses on runs where FJ will grind out 3 yards. Give me a guy who will get the tough yards in 3, 4, 5, 6 yard chunks over a guy who will have 1, 2 yard runs with the odd 20 yarder thrown in there. And even though FJ has fumbled twice recently, I don't necessarily trust the way CJ carries the ball. Maybe its because he's smaller, but I'm always worried he might fumble. Will sound crazy to the "what games are you watching?" crowd, but I think CJ should be the change of pace back, not Freddie.
  3. hahahaha...dude, you are quickly becoming one of the best posters on here...keep up the good work
  4. There's only one logical conclusion: He hurt his hand signing that extension last year and hasn't been the same since.
  5. He could have been really great if he had any football sense at all. The guy's got a tonne of raw skill.
  6. Was it just me or did it seem like there was an inordinate number of Bills fans at the stadium on Sunday? The crowd noise wasn't exactly a 50/50 split, but at times it felt like the Bills were the home team. Excellent job to those who attended. I really feel there are more Bills fans out there than people realize. There has to be more people like me (kids who grew up watching the great teams of the early 90s who are now in their football-watching prime) out there all over North America. If they ever got good again, we might see more old fans come out of the woodwork.
  7. I still maintain that McGee was the best corner on the team last year. His game against the Giants was excellent. He seems to have lost a step this year though. His coverage isn't as tight as it used to be. Florence sucks.
  8. Substitute Choice for Reggie Torbor, and we have the exact same thread from a couple of years ago. Fact is, one fringe player calling out his teammates isn't going to do anything. The problem is, there is a severe lack of talent at two key areas of this team (QB and defensive coaching) and its impossible to call out either one without seeming like a douche.
  9. Your 3-13 stat is a bit off, but the idea of the post isn't. Having said that, I suppose I'm in the minority who still thinks Chan is a decent coach. He puts players in a position to be successful, at least on the offensive side. He just needs a QB. And that's on Nix, not Gailey.
  10. They did invite him, but his car ran out of gas and stopped a few houses short of where they were.
  11. I'm not sure that's how this works. I'm not a big gambler, but I think odds are based on what side people are betting on, not what Vegas thinks is going to happen. They make their money on the juice, so the idea is that they want to have an equal amount of money at risk for both sides. That's why lines are always moving.
  12. Lots of homers on this thread. Most of the double-teams this season have been on Kyle and Dareus, yet they've both been way more productive than Mario. The reason why the defense has improved is because this is the first time those two are playing together while being healthy. The one hundred million dollar man has been the 4th best player on the D-line so far. Having said that, that's only the synopsis after three games, and not an indication of what's to come. He is learning a new defense, coming off injury and he's got way too much talent for his play to continue to be this underwhelming (at least I hope). But saying his play so far has been anything but disappointing is just not being truthful.
  13. thanks for the replies everyone...much appreciated i've always wanted to sit front row at least once in my life, but this might not be the game to do it - for financial reasons mainly might check out the club seats as the good seats on those scalper sites are about the same price, if not more expensive
  14. Hello, just wanted to know if anyone can help me. I'm thinking of going to the game this weekend, but as you all know, it is sold out. Ideally I'd like to have good seats but the prices on stubhub and ticketexchange are really expensive. Can anyone answer the following? 1. Is it better to just go to the stadium the day of the game and take my chances? or should i just buy the tickets online through those mediums or something like craigslist? 2. where is the best place to sit? i'm assuming that your view is restricted if you're too close to the benches..
  15. obligatory "they cut (insert player name) and kept kelsay?? wtf?!?!" post
  16. As have I. And yes, I am also bragging and consider myself the original Justin Rogers fan. But McGee was the best CB on the team last year, IMHO. He's lost a step this year though. Rogers reminds me of Jabari Greer.
  17. I've been saying it for months. He's the best cornerback on the team right now and he'll prove it by season's end.
  18. not a fan of bart scott or the jets, but..."because i want to"??? what a dip****
  19. full moon tonight?? edit...canks, you rascal you dadonkadonk...the full moon comment applies just to you now
  20. I disagree. I think both Wilson and Byrd are far better than Whitner, and he's starting for the best D in football. In the salary cap era, you're not going to have pro bowlers at every position no matter what you do. The Bills have 3 on the D-line and another one possibly with Byrd (might be a stretch, I know). Barnett is an above average linebacker. The CBs aren't horrible (other than McKelvin, and he's way down on the depth chart). I think that's more than enough talent. How they complement each other is up to the signal caller. You can't honestly tell me that if Wade Phillips was coaching this D, it wouldn't be way better. Again, its still way too early to make any conclusions about anything, and hopefully we see some improvements, but I've got my doubts. This team is missing two pieces from being really really dangerous. Above average defensive coaching and a good QB (not even elite..just good).
  21. Totally agree. I've got a bad feeling about Wannstache. There's enough talent on this defense to be really good. It seems as though they are still in preseason mode with the playcalling though.
  22. I love this. This is what want out of the team I cheer for. Win or lose, just show some passion. Too many times over the last decade, I've felt that I care more about the result than the players do.
  23. Thanks for the tips. I'm actually staying at The Clevelander. Hopefully they will show the game there. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated!
