Again, you're confusing team success and player accolades with individual talent. Nobody in their right mind would say Allen has had a more successful career than Mahomes. Mahomes obviously has more accomplishments. And if that's your definition of better, then yes, Mahomes is better. My contention is, all things being equal, if you were to put them both in the exact same situation, Allen would outperform him because I feel he's more talented.

Nobody is crying. It's a Bills discussion board. And we're using said board for a discussion about something Bills-related. As for the discussion itself, those of us with critical thinking skills can separate team success from individual player talent. Others, like you, obviously cannot. Just because the chiefs as a team are more successful than the Bills, doesn't make every single player on their team better than every single player on the Bills.

Umm, no. The Bills should never entertain the idea of replacing Allen with Mahomes. Or any other qb in the league. I think some of you really overestimate the talent level on this team and how f'd they'd be without Josh.

Because Beane keeps blowing every skilled position draft pick, a two down back who can't pass block and plays less than half the snaps is by default their best weapon (outside of qb of course). Therefore, because he's their best weapon, this is a great deal. 🤣🤣 I honestly feel bad for Josh. He's keeping most of these buffoons employed here, otherwise they'd all be back in Carolina doing jobs more suited to their qualifications.

I feel like I'm going crazy here. DO NOT PAY THIS GUY!! Let him play it out this season and then let him walk out the door and draft his replacement. Or ideally, if you find a dumb team who'd give up a 2nd or 3rd rounder for him, deal him today and I'll drive him to the airport myself. You have the best QB in the game and a strong offensive line. Any decent RB can fill the void.

That contract has to rank pretty high in all-time blunders. I'm sure there is one but I can't think of another Bills player with that massive a disparity of dollars vs performance.

This isn't tennis or boxing. It's a team game. And the fact remains that Mahomes has had a far better team around him and on the sidelines than Josh has. Put Allen on that chiefs team and they have even more success than they've already had. Mahomes: more accomplished Allen: more talented Up to you to decide what constitutes being better.

It's ridiculous to suggest that Mahomes is a better qb than Josh at this point. Put Allen on any other contending team and they win the super bowl easily.

I pray we never find out. A lot of you grossly overrate the talent on this roster outside of Josh Allen. And it's not like there's a heady coach leading the way to mask this. Also, let's not compare this team to the Pats the year Brady got hurt. That was a loaded roster coming off an almost unbeaten season. Their top receiver was Randy Moss. The Bills top receiver this year is closer to Kate Moss than Randy.

Was wondering if anyone would mention Jabari Greer. He was quietly excellent here for a couple of seasons. Took the idiot coaches forever to get him on the field consistently (even though some fans here were screaming for them to do so) because he wasn't a high draft pick. But when he finally got a regular role, he was great.
